View Full Details of Admirals Reach Care HomeNew admission to Admirals Reach. Came to view the care home quite late in the day, one of the management staff showed around the unit, even when he was due to end his shift. Very polite, answered all my questions. Admission day - they were all very friendly, greeting the new resident. Staff are very polite & courteous. They have got to know my relative very quickly, knowing what drink he likes and how he has this. The senior managers on the unit have an open door policy which is fantastic. They are supportive when I take my relative out for the day and return around 21.00. The food is excellent. Would recommend this care home.
My father was only in care for six weeks but I can only say everything that was done for my father was carried out with care and compassion and I would highly recommend the care home to anyone who is contemplating having a relative or friend live here.
The entire team are outstanding! They go above and beyond caring for my father! Nothing is too much. They provide support and reassurance to myself and my mother, making a difficult situation that little bit easier.
20/03/2025 Social trip to the racecourse. Including cream tea & tea/coffee. Played bingo and had a raffle. Excellent trip out. Even met a race horse & fed it carrots! Lovely.

I feel like a weight of worry has been lifted from us knowing mum is being so cared for. Every member of staff has a smile and a kind word. Well done Admirals Reach for being a 'care' home.
My dad has bee in Admirals Reach for 5 years. He has received excellent care and a very personal service from al the carers and nurses in the wing. He seems happy and content and for my sister and I we know that he is well cared for, safe and very well looked after. The staff don't seem to change much which I think is a very good sign.
My father has dementia and deteriorating health and could no longer be supported in his own home. Within a week of being in the home he appeared happy, clean and supported and showed improvement. Unfortunately he had a fall and was admitted to hospital but is back at the home now. Since he was discharged on Wednesday he is already looking better. I would happily put myself into this home, they really look after my father.
Thank you for looking after my Father so well in his last month. The staff were wonderful and as well as my Dad, they looked after us when we came to visit. His dog was allowed to visit which made a big difference to him. Everyone was treated with kindness, respect and compassion.
Pleasant atmosphere in Mountbatten wing for both residents and visitors. Excellent occupational choices listed for the residents to enjoy. Respite facilities appear of a high standard. Staff are friendly and residents appear relaxed. Catering feedback is good. Hygiene levels appear good too. Next of kin of resident able to give more comprehensive feedback than myself.
As a family we where very very happy with the care my father in law received in the two + half weeks he was here. All the staff have been amazing to us and of course to my father in law. We cannot thank them enough.
In the first months of my father's life, he received the most amazing care from the nurses and care team. They treated him with kindness and respect and helped support us in his final days. I cannot thank the nursing team and carers enough for all of their dedication to making my dad's last months comfortable and giving him love and support at this time.
First visit; It was good to see my Mum up and about with others in the common room.
I have been a visitor for about 2 years and have always found the staff very helpful and friendly. All areas are clean. Everyone is very caring.

He is so well looked after and gets lots of care. Monitored medically daily and kept very clean. Nurses are very approachable and kind. Carers are very helpful to Dad's needs.
The care here is exceptional. The staff really go above and beyond their jobs. I always say it's not the home but the staff that makes it a home and they really do. Every need is provided in a courteous manner and done with a smile. That smile could make your day. I've been here for seven years and can't imagine living anywhere else. It really is my home with all the benefits.
My dad has mixed dementia and other health issues and has recently become a resident of Admirals Reach Care Home. I'm so pleased he is here, the facilities are excellent, clean and modern. The staff are lovely and caring. I can now rest assured my dad is now receiving the care he requires.
