Once again very happy with the care Mum received whilst we were away. All staff are so friendly and welcoming. The home is clean and very well laid out. Mum was encouraged to participated in activities. When she came home, she settled back very quickly, I will be using Paternoster house again, many thanks.

It took me a few weeks to settle in and now I'm very happy and receiving good care and support from lovely, caring staff. Always something happening, I join in most activities, including visits out, especially a local pub.

My dad has only been at the home a short time but the friendly staff and their sweet nature has not gone unnoticed. They're kind and understanding of his illness and his other long-term issues have been outstanding. The colour has been put back in his cheeks and his health has been nursed back to where it should have been. I feel so much more comfortable now to know he is in the safest hands he can be.

The staff at Paternoster are always attentive to the resident's needs. I see this whenever I visit. The decor within the building is very nice and gives a real sense of home. I have seen on numerous occasions where the residents engage with smaller animals etc. which brings so much pleasure to those who reside at Paternoster. The residents are encouraged to get involved with activities and they do. The management is very friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure when visiting.

I found all the staff with whom I came in contact to be very kind, caring, thoughtful, and helpful. Unfortunately for most of my stay, I had very little appetite after my operation and was unable to make the most of a very varied and interesting-looking menu. The various facilities e.g sitting room were comfortable and attractive and impressed my visitors. Thank you to all the staff for always making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible and being so helpful.

Really lovely staff and very caring nurses. I was made to feel very welcome myself as well as my partner receiving excellent care in her last few days. Barchester Paternoster House Care Home is a lively care home with very bright and airy feel to it and lovely areas to sit and relax.

My dad came to Barchester Paternoster House Care Home after a stroke. He has lived there for two years now and is very happy and content. I find all the staff on Dad's unit very kind and helpful and really understand his needs. I would highly recommend Paternoster House.

My father's time at Barchester Paternoster House Care Home was short and he was unaware of where he was due to illness. However, the care he received was good, staff being very helpful and supportive to family.

My mother has been a resident for six weeks. My immediate first impression was how beautifully Barchester Paternoster House Care Home was decorated and how tastefully the rooms are furnished. I then met with the staff and was aware, at once, how friendly, caring and concerned they would be for the welfare of my mum. Since living here, I can see the effort made to include Mum into the social activities and the huge commitment by social staff to ensure residents are entertained with a good variety of things to see and do. It is a pleasure to visit and be encouraged to share experiences and events with our treasured mum. I have every confidence in the care of Paternoster.

My nan came to the home just before Christmas 2023 and I and the rest of the family are blown away by the care my nan is receiving. I come in as much as I can and each time she seems more and more healthier and happy. The staff across the home are extremely friendly and have massively reassured us as a family that my nan is being well looked after and is happy to be here.

Our mum, unfortunately, suffers from dementia and her care needs are complex, thankfully we have found a great home where she is cared for and her needs are met perfectly. Visiting regularly for a number of months now has allowed us to see how the staff of Parklands not only care for our mum but also all the residents in the home. They are not only extremely professional in their care they also show respect and genuine fondness for all the residents in their care. As a family, we are grateful that we have found a place where our mum is safe and cared for which befits the love we have for her. Thank you, Paternoster, and particularly the ladies of Parklands. We would 100% recommend this care home for your loved one.

When I came here for a week, I was very upset, but everyone put themselves out to put me at ease, day and night. I had a complete washdown every day. My medication was always on time. All the staff were always asking if I was ok. The cher always came out of the kitchen to speak to me. The lady at reception always made my family welcome. Overall, it is a rest home but made more of a hotel with medical care. I will be back as a visitor as I was invited and I will do some charity music shown very soon to say thank you.

I visit my sister-in-law and I am very impressed with everyone and all the activities that happen within. It is so nice that I can come anytime and join in. The staff are all so happy and the residents are as well.

Very comfortable, friendly surroundings, all residents appear happy and content. Love the itinerary of day-to-day activities. It's been a lovely visit, especially as my friend seems to have happily settled in after just a short time. I didn't want to leave!

The care home is very welcoming, clean and friendly. The staff are always happy to speak to all family members. The activities are brilliant, lots of different things to do very engaging and fun. The home has a very high standard of cleanliness.

My mum has never been so happy in a care home before. There is so much attention paid to each resident, and the care and love from the staff are just wonderful. Mum especially loves all the activities during the day, trips to the cinema/pub and outings to the local nursery to buy plants for the garden. I'm so glad we chose Paternoster House.
