View Full Details of Rosedale CourtOur aunt has been a resident at Rosedale Court Rayleigh for just over a year. We are happy to say she is very well looked after. All the care staff are friendly, kind, and polite, all go out of their way to try to please her and are very supportive of my sister and I, always willing to help and advise us. The home is always spotlessly clean and very well maintained. All the residents seem happy and enjoy all the activities and entertainment that are there for them. The management, nurses, care, wellbeing, and cleaning staff are friendly making Rosedale Court a pleasant place to visit.
Dad was sent from Colchester hospital to Rosedale Court Rayleigh, after a fall at home. His dementia has got worse, so it was decided he was to go to Rosedale, as I live in Rayleigh and would be close to visit regularly. We were lucky to get a room. All of the staff show compassion, empathy, and kindness. Dad has been at Rosedale for 6 months now and this caring, thoughtful attitude has continued. Dad is very sociable, and the activities the home provides give Dad purpose and meaning to his day and above all a laugh. He has a lovely sense of humour, and it is good to see this encouraged. Cant thank the staff enough!
My dad has been in Rosedale for 8 weeks now and all of the staff have been amazing and are looking after him so well. He is treated like a family member and we really couldn't be happier. The management team have been amazing and the amount of activities provided and social media updates are incredible. Thank you so much for looking after my dad so well.
My sister and I are so pleased with the new initiatives and developments here at Rosedale. Since the new manager, I have seen a marked change in many aspects of the home and my mum. Rosedale now feels 'alive' again with so many wonderful things now happening regularly. My mum is so happy and this makes the family happy. We feel very safe with Mum's care and disposition. We want to say a huge thank you to all the staff.
My personal experience of Rosedale Court is and has always been a positive experience for me, my family and most importantly my mum! Kind and caring, what's more to say!
We will never be able to thank the staff of Rosedale Court enough for the care, dedication and empathy they showed to our father Harry. Our dad spent the last 3 weeks as a resident at Rosedale Court everyone from Sandra in the office, to the manager and her team went above and beyond for the care they showed to my father and to us as a family. The care received was outstanding, nothing was ever too much for the care team this gave us as a family peace of mind 24/7. Dad passed away Monday morning leading to his passing was a very difficult time for us as a family again the staff at Rosedale not only cared and supported Dad but also us as a family with their compassion and kindness. Thank you Rosedale Court.
We Would like to express how grateful we are for the care you gave my late uncle who has recently passed. It was a very sad time for us and my uncle was cared for by an exceptional team where you could tell they put all their heart into the role and also had compassion for the family. We will always be truly grateful for the love you gave and my uncle has joined his dear wife now where they are both pain-free and at peace. Thank you again from all of the family.
Whilst my mother was in the care home, from January 2017 to January 2023, she was looked after incredibly well.
My wife has been a resident at Rosedale Court for seven and a half years. She has very advanced dementia and is receiving end-of-life care. During her time at Rosedale, my wife has received exceptional care and in 2019 her life was saved when staff suspected that she had Sepsis and their swift action got her the required treatment in time. She is now in the nursing unit and again, this December, her health rapidly deteriorated. Fortunately, the nursing staff diagnosed the situation accurately and acted with urgency and she was admitted to hospital to receive life-saving treatment for sepsis. She is now back at Rosedale Court and is quite stable. I cannot thank the nursing staff enough for all that they have done for my wife during her time at Rosedale Court.
We have visited Mother-in-law for several years of her decline - at 102! Rarely have we seen any distress with any resident - always kindly treated. Appropriate to her mobility and interest, she has been offered seasonal entertainment, we have had photos to share the fun, and some creative activity attempts! Original and recent staff have welcomed us with some warmth and comments of Mum's "behaviour and moods". We felt Mum has become well known and has had very personally styled care. Many thanks.
My husband was admitted to Rosedale Court in January 2023 with Alzheimer’s and other health issues. At the time, he was admitted on an end-of-life three-month arrangement, and Rosedale happened to have a vacancy. How glad I am that he went to Rosedale. He has had excellent care, the staff are friendly and helpful, there are numerous activities during each week, and the food seems good. My family and I visit a lot, and we’ve never known him to be anything but clean and comfortable. Rosedale Court itself has a very nice, friendly atmosphere and is really well maintained.
My mum was a resident and passed in September. The care, communication and support for her and us, as a family, was first-class. Mum passed with dignity and I cannot thank the manager and his amazing team for all they did for us all. It was difficult saying goodbye to what had become a second home for us all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do, every department is a terrific team who really knows the residents and actually ’ cares’. I miss you all.
My brother has been at Rosedale Court for almost three weeks, he is well cared for, staff are lovely, very friendly and welcoming and above all, approachable. My brother has settled well, his room is lovely, very clean and comfortable. The food is very good and plenty of it.
When my uncle had to go into nursing care, as a family, we were very worried. We asked to meet with the manager to find out more about this home. Having looked around some awful and dirty homes, we were pleasantly surprised. the manager was patient and answered every question we had and he answered it in depth, he then took us for a tour of the home, at no point did we feel rushed. The home was beautiful. My uncle has been here for around three weeks now and the staff are amazing, we visit daily. He hasn’t come across any staff who haven’t been kind and caring. The food is amazing and they always give him extras as he loves his food! All of the staff have been lovely, in particular, one nurse has been very helpful and nothing is too much trouble, a very kind man. I can honestly say that our initial concerns about nursing care are unfounded. I can’t comment on outings as he has just got here and has only just got a wheelchair. Definitely recommend Rosedale Court.
Hi, my dad has been at the home for over a year now and I can honestly say they are amazing staff and so helpful in there, always go the extra mile to make sure he is comfortable and has what he needs. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to put a relative in there.
I am always impressed when I visit with the security, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff. Mum has adjusted to being in a home now I think. I love it that there are activities for the residents. Thank you for the care Mum receives.
My brother has been at Rosedale since January 2023. He is physically and mentally handicapped and has medical needs also. Our family are very pleased with the standard of care he receives. The staff and nursing staff are very proactive with him and we feel he is very happy there. Overall a nice atmosphere, and a spotlessly clean home with good food.
Good afternoon to you all. My mother was offered a Respite stay at Rosedale Court Rayleigh from January to April 2023. Her stay at Rosedale has been generally very good, many of the nursing and care staff have been absolutely great. However, over the past three months, my mother has been well looked after and kept in good spirits by the staff, in some cases the staff have excelled in looking after mum. The only negative things I should point out are as follows. The food has been very similar each day. If you like carrots and mash then this is really the place for you! The food is often served cold with many items hard and overcooked, however, I believe Rosedale is doing their best to change the food. I guess the most important thing to point out is the lack of continuity for the night staff and in some cases the day staff, for many of the people staying in this type of home it is important for them to know and recognise the staff who are supposed to look after them.
I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for the care my father-in-law received before his passing. From the cleaners to the managers, every single member of staff played a part in making his time in Rosedale comfortable. They really do have an exceptional team and we were sad to say goodbye! Thank you for not only looking after my father-in-law, but our family as well.
My father has been in the home since last August. I have many issues with the home. I find the lack of carers and interaction with the patients very disappointing. The nurses seem constantly in their office glued to a computer, when I have questioned them on this I was told it was because all of the care plans are on there. Surely caring for people should be more of a priority.
