View Full Details of Windle CourtMy mother has been in Windle Court since April 2021 and has found that her stay has been lovely, the Staff are always very friendly and helpful and always keep me informed of her welfare. I have no concerns up to now. Would definitely recommend Windle Court.
My mother-in-law is well looked after and the staff are kind and considerate. They keep us informed as a family. We particularly like regular updates which include photos of what Mum is getting up to. The home is a warm and welcoming place. The staff always appear kind when dealing with all residents and seem to have good relationships/rapport with them. We are happy with the care and treatment.
My mum is well looked after in Windle Court. The staff are kind and caring and treat my mum and other residents with respect and compassion. The staff keep us updated as a family very regularly which we really appreciate. Especially the photos that they send. We see how Mum's doing and what activities etc. she's been up to. This is particularly reassuring to me as I am often out of the country. We feel the staff know Mum well and responds promptly to her needs.
My nan is very well cared for. The carers always ensure we have sufficient space in a quiet area when I visit with my children. Thank you, Windle Court!
Amazing care given to my nan. Very friendly staff who go above and beyond to tend to all needs and make space for us to spend quality time alone with Nan with all the great-grand children. Thank you Windle Court!
The staff and management have maintained the high standards they showed when any mother first came to stay in the home. She has thrived in an environment where she can enjoy the company of others and is treated with love and respect by the care staff. Many thanks to all of them for their continued hard work in times that are often very challenging.
My mother is well looked after and I am very happy, the staff are so kind to her. I would recommend Windle Court to everyone.
I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for Dad. He was a difficult person but you showed compassion and empathy every step of the way. You always had time to listen to him and to me and I am incredibly grateful.
We as a family are very grateful for all the efforts made in welcoming Mum and making her feel comfortable, safe and secure. She appears to have adjusted well to her new environment which allows us to feel happier and more relaxed about her future.
Such kind wonderfully warm staff. They came to our aid in a most unfortunate predicament, that I will always be very grateful for. Besides all of that, they took exceptionally brilliant care of my mother-in-law who unfortunately has Dementia. These wonderful women worked tirelessly to get us some support in place for us for when she came home. Thank you, ladies, from the bottom of my heart, it's a comfort to know we can always count on you.
Cannot fault Windle Court care home and we looked at a few. Staff go above and beyond with their care, all the workers have smiles on their faces from the cleaners to the management. The home is kept spotless, activities for the residents are always a source of fun excellent and food provided is varied. Each staff member is very approachable and any queries are dealt with promptly. Unfortunately, we lost our family member, but she was so happy there and it has helped us to know that she was surrounded by so much love and care. Thank you everybody at Windle Court.
My father was with you for approximately one month for some rehabilitation care. We have since moved him to another care home, but that is of no reflection of the excellent care he received whilst with you at Windle Court. The decision was purely logistics. We needed to put my father into care after getting him out of Hospital and it was no easy exercise to do, but your staff were most helpful, especially one lady in particular (you know who you are!). What we needed at the time for Dad was a caring, safe environment that would give him the dignity he required, and that he got from Windle Court. Myself and the entire family can not thank you enough, for being so accommodating and flexible.
My mum was cared for and loved by staff at Windle Court. They are all wonderful, caring people who do a very difficult job looking after our loved ones when they face a sometimes very confusing and anxious time in their lives. Most of us can't do that job. The staff here are friendly, kind and fun. When visiting they make you welcome - you become part of this big family. They do lots of activities and encourage residents to take part. I have seen for myself how happy the residents are to join in, watch and sing along. The rooms are clean and tidy. Meals are good plus additional refreshments throughout the day. The residents are kept clean and treated with respect and dignity. The photos tell the story of how good this home is and how happy the residents look in them...I can't thank Windle Court staff enough for looking after my lovely mum. Sadly she has now passed away but was cared for with tenderness right to the end. They are a brilliant team, so supportive in every way.
Amazing care home. The residents are treated with dignity and love. My nan has had a new lease of life since moving into the home. They are taken on days out and not left in the home 24/7. They are kept entertained and pampered.
My father has been in the care home since October 2022. The care home made the transition very easy. My father is very happy here. The staff are excellent, and I can't thank them enough. They are very caring, very informative and helpful, and they work very hard. He has been on several outings, and they take pictures and put them on Facebook, which is brilliant as family members can see what my father has been up to, and they all comment on how much this care home does with the residents. The care home is very clean, and my father's room is always neat and tidy. I have had a few issues, nothing bad, but they have acted on it and rectified the problem. My father loves to dance, and they have entertainment with a singer, and they always get him involved. I would definitely recommend this care home as this was recommended to me, and I'm so happy that he has settled in really well.
The staff are always thinking of ways to engage the residents and make their day as fulfilling as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff always keep me informed about what Mum is doing and how she is getting on. All health issues are dealt with quickly and professionally. I can't thank them enough.
A safeguarding complaint is currently ongoing in relation to my mother's 2 weeks care here. Fact. Not stating any allegations as I am not allowed to whilst this is ongoing. Personally, I would never place someone in this care home again.
I have found Windle Court to be excellent. My father has been in the home for about 5 months now and the management and staff I have come across are friendly and caring. They are always happy to talk and have been honest about his needs and proactive in looking for ways to help residents get the most out of their time at Windle Court. Care homes especially for people with dementia seem very expensive but I do feel he is happy, well fed and the staff do talk with and engage with residents so overall I feel it’s worth the fees.
All of the staff are very helpful and friendly my mother really enjoys herself there and she is always chatting to the staff and residents. She likes her meals and the social events which are organised and loves her hair being done.
I have no complaints the care is excellent. They always put my mum in matching clothes and mum always looks clean. There is a hairdresser here which is a good price. The doctor comes in every Tuesday. All the staff are lovely and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. They have an activity plan that gets emailed every week which includes arts and crafts, day trips, animals, singers, cooking, book club and also movie nights. The place looks like a hotel with updated decor and furniture. Has a cafe to be used with your family for privacy.
