Grays Court has always provided a holistic approach to the care of my mum. They also provide the support and understanding to my father who like the rest of us of struggle at times. Most of all they are adhering to my mothers wishes. Have always showed me respect and support.
My Mother has been in Grays Court for some time now. She is 94 and on the nursing care side as she is unable to look after herself. All of the staff are great with her, even when she's not engaging with them, they all make sure she is ok. The nurses do a fantastic job. If there are ever any issues they let me know straight away. My mother is very well looked after and I'm very pleased that she is in such a wonderful, caring nursing home.
My mum's getting the best care here. We can't fault the care and attention she receives and as a family, we commented only yesterday that the meds review she's had here to make sure they're at the right levels is better than she ever had from her own GP. Everyone just seems to make time here to make sure everything's right - and that residents are happy. The food is also delicious and those who need help with it get help. You're also made to feel very welcome as a visitor at any time, by all staff! My mum doesn't always take part in activities but there's a lovely activities manager, who encourages everyone to take part if they're able, which means residents if they are able to join in are rarely bored.
Grays court has been great in looking after my nan. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always go the extra mile to make her feel comfortable. The home is very welcoming and full of engaging activities. It gives my family great peace of mind knowing she's in such safe and caring hands.
It's hard to write a review when all you want is for your mum to be at home well and with her husband (dad). All we have asked for is that Mum is looked after with compassion and dignity which the nursing staff and carers have done.
I have nothing but praise for the ladies with the care they give to my mum. They both go above and beyond for Mum and our family, I cannot thank them enough. Although this review is dated March 2024 Mum is a long-term resident and the ladies still continue to give the highest level of care. She is always there for me personally with any questions and help that I need even on her days off and recently gave up time on her day off to come and have a review meeting with the social worker for Mum.
The home is clean and very well run, they look after my grandmother with love and care like they are a relation of theirs. They are professional in dealing with the situations that my gran has been in i.e. bad health and hospital visits. The communication between our family and the home cannot be faulted, with continued updates on health and well-being of my gran. The two ladies are absolutely amazing at what they do for my grandmother they have gone above and beyond! Cannot fault the service that they give! 5-star.
This care home has cared above and beyond for my father. They are friendly and welcoming and try to facilitate all that they can including video calls for when I'm unable to visit. Highly recommended. One nurse is outstanding at her job as she doesn't ever moan and is always tremendously helpful. Thank you.
The staff are the single most important asset to any care home. And at Grays Court all of the staff, reception, cleaners, carers, nurses are professional, caring, calm and approachable. I know that they are doing their best and I can raise any questions with them. Mum is pretty ill but she is warm safe and as far as is possible out of pain. Thank you.
My mum was discharged to Grays Court following two stays in hospital. It's still early days but she seems to be settled and happy. All the staff are fabulous, very kind and patient and my mum is always well-fed, clean and happy. So far, very pleased with Grays Court.
Absolutely brilliant - not only looked after mum but also the rest of the family. The home had Mum for six years and made her and us happy and content with the care she received. The home was very caring on all sides of Mum's illness. The home was clean, and the care was faultless. We all agree it was made to feel like Mum's home and also made my dad so welcome.
Although my husband's stay in Grays Court was only for a short time he was cared for very well with much kindness and dignity. All the staff were excellent and very kind to myself and my family when we visited. Thanks to them all.
My lovely 92-year-old father spent 10 days at Grays Court nursing home after being in hospital. The difference in care was wonderful. Dad was receiving end-of-life care the staff were all so caring, kind and professional. They treated Dad with dignity and made our family feel supported the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they treated all the residents with respect. What was a sad period became bearable and we thank them all.
My father recently received end-of-life care at Grays Court. From the moment he arrived at the home, he was treated with dignity and kindness. All staff were caring and professional in their approach to my father and us as his family. We were kept fully informed and when my father passed away the staff helped us deal with the practical matters, making it easier to cope with our loss. Many thanks.
Everything is good, had no problems.
I have no issues with the staff or facilities.
Mum has settled down really well and the care home takes very good care of her. She is always well-maintained and clean and she is being fed well. She is very happy at this care home.
My mum is well looked after and in just a short amount of time her well-being has improved. The staff are lovely and helpful.
We have found the care home to be open and friendly with a fantastic atmosphere. Have been assisted with all queries and questions concerning my mum's care and wellbeing. Responses to medical concerns have been immediate and kept informed of all treatments. The staff's behaviour and attitude
Mum was transferred to Grays Court in September 2021 from the hospital. The staff have treated Mum with dignity and respect at all times. The staff are cheerful and always helpful. Mum is very happy with her care and loves the staff. My late dad was also a resident here and I can not thank all the staff enough for the great care they gave him.
