View Full Details of Bedhampton CourtMy sister arrived at Bedhampton in August and sadly only had a short stay owing to her fast failing health. She was admitted to hospital for part of the time too. From the very start when arranging it for her I was made to feel very welcome and looked after as was my sister. She was not able to appreciate all that was offered but I found visiting her something to be looked forward to and I knew she was in safe hands. THANK YOU ALL
Since my mother arrived, she has been made to feel part of the family here. Everyone is so kind, helpful and respectful of all the residents. The care given is excellent, the food always looks delicious. I feel my mother is very happy and comfortable in her own special room. I feel happy that she is so well looked after.
The staff put on some lovely events, the panto was very good and in the summer there were a lot of garden parties. The food is very good and the staff are very caring.
Mum was only in your care for 5 weeks, but she was happy and very well cared for. The food was excellent and treatment was excellent. She managed to walk (aided) again. She was always in clean fresh clothes with her hair brushed. Thank you to all the staff.
Very happy with the care my mother receives.
My mum spent five weeks in the care of Bedhampton Nursing Home, following a prolonged hospital stay. Her needs were thoroughly assessed with skill and patience and we were very grateful for the care and attention she received from everyone on the team. After only one week, the chef made her a birthday cake and the staff came to sing to her, making her final birthday special. She was not well enough to participate in many of the activities nor meet many of the other residents but we, her visitors, certainly appreciated the lovely family atmosphere and the peaceful gardens of Bedhampton Court. The food was delicious and my dad was able to join her for meals on some of his visits. Food portions were very generous. Sadly, Mum went on to receive palliative care but again, the skill and compassion of the staff who attended her made a terrible situation more comfortable. My dad and siblings were always welcomed and supported through this difficult time. I would not hesitate to recommend the home.
We have been very happy with the facilities and care at Bedhampton Court. All the staff are amazing and have treated my mum with dignity, respect and care. My mum has now been there for 5 months and it feels like a second family! There is a variety of activities and it is lovely to see the photo board showing what they have enjoyed and having the activities emailed to me helps me encourage my mum to have a go. The food is fantastic and being able to have a Sunday dinner with my mum has been lovely. The kitchen staff are truly amazing.
I have experienced Bedhampton Court through my mum having to have more medical care, sadly only for a short period of time. I cannot express enough how caring and professional all staff and management are. I experienced this home as though I was a resident, as sadly my mum became end of life, quickly, so myself and my sister stayed 24/7 for eight days to be with her till the end. Nothing was too much trouble. We were looked after very well. Medical staff are excellent, work non-stop to provide a high level of care, as do all staff. Rooms are lovely and bright. All-round, amazing place. Definetly recommend it.
This is my honest opinion of Bedhampton Court, unfortunately, my Mum had to leave her home and move into Bedhampton Court due to ill health. I had concerns about it but they were soon dismissed once I visited. The whole vibe as I entered felt so warm friendly and homely. The residents are so happy. Unfortunately, my Mum didn't experience all that they give as she became ill very quickly, but the staff brought the experiences to her, ie, hairdressers, and podiatrist. As Mum became end of life the management and staff supported me and my sister as we stayed 24/7 for 8 days. Anyone reluctant to put a loved one in a nursing home, think about Bedhampton Court, they are amazing.
Bedhampton Court Nursing Home rated by CQC as good, should have been excellent. My mother has been a resident at the home since the beginning of the year. On behalf of Mum and her family, I want to say thank you to everyone concerned with running the home.
Our relative has received excellent care. The home is kept very clean. All staff are very helpful. There are plenty of events that are very well organised. There is a good variety of food, which is very well-cooked, and options are always offered. A meeting was attended with the Home Manager, which was helpful and instructive.
Well looked after. Staff were very professional. I felt at ease knowing my wife had been taken care of. To all the staff, thank you.
My husband was a resident in Bedhampton Nursing Home for just over four years, until his death in September 2023. Apart from an unsettled period when the home changed ownership, several staff left and the newly appointed manager was not popular, I found that the home had a warm and friendly atmosphere. In spite of staff shortages, most of the carers and nurses were dedicated and caring. They were kind to the residents and patient with them, as were all the staff, including maintenance men, cleaners, admin, activities organisers, chef, etc. My husband was constantly frustrated at his inability to do anything, due to the nature of his illness, which sometimes made him grumpy, but most of the staff seemed to be quite fond of him. When he was dying, although it was in the early hours, I and my three children were notified in time for all of us to be with him. The night staff, whom we had not met, were wonderful and helped us through a sad but peaceful experience. We all found kindness and friendship among both staff and residents.
Having been informed that my mother had to go into a nursing home following a severe stroke, my sister, brother and I were told of a space at Bedhampton Court. We viewed the home and instantly knew it was the right one. The staff have always been amazing and caring to both Mum and us. Mum was at the home for over seven years, so we knew everyone quite well. Their amazing dedication was heightened during Covid. We can't thank everyone enough.
My father has had excellent service and care at this nursing home. Staff and management are fantastic and all questions are answered promptly. No concern at all about the care received.
Pleased to say 'faultless'. From our first visit multiple years ago, to the passing of our parent, the service and care were first-class.
My mum lived at Bedhampton for over three years with many and varied health problems including kidney failure, a broken hip, and a mild cognitive impairment. The staff were wonderful at looking after her. The renal unit sent a nice letter to the Bedhampton chef, thanking her for lowering Mum's potassium levels through diet. Bedhampton gave Mum an extra three years with her family, to the amazement of her renal consultants. The nurses and carers were always kind, helpful and accommodating to the whole family during a difficult time for us all. We had many good times with Mum and are always grateful to this lovely home.
In this time I have been treated courteously and looked after very well. Looking forward to staying here and using facilities where I am mobile.
The nursing home is well managed and the staff go above and beyond for the residents. It is a happy home.
Beginning of Sept 23 my dad came to Bedhampton Care Home. It was a very emotional time for the family. Surprisingly my dad settled in very well, this was with the help of the care staff and manager, and the deputy manager was amazing. My dad's room is lovely and homely. The food is very nice and good-sized portions.
