View Full Details of Beechcroft Manor Nursing HomeGo and see for yourself, as there are really no words to describe just how wonderful Beechcroft Manor actually is. My mum has been a resident of Beechcroft since December 2019, in all that time she has been treated with the utmost respect and the kindest of care. Everyone who works at Beechcroft, from the carers to the housekeeping staff to the chefs, to the administrative team are just wonderful. The delight I see in their eyes when Mum recognises me at the start of my visits tells me how much they care about her too. Beechcroft is always clean and it smells lovely, no lingering smells of food, just a place well kept and maintained. A special shout-out has to go to the entertainment team, from sing-a-longs to Easter egg hunts, nothing is too much trouble and they pull out all the stops to ensure everyone has a great time. Thank you!
Very small, shabby room, cracked walls, cold most of the time. I had to wait three hours in a cot bed before someone came to sort me out (in pain too). Very poor bed linen. Holes in blankets, sheets very grey (should be white), not TV (I had to buy one). No riser seat in toilet so I had to use a commode in the bedroom, with all staff coming in at any time. No privacy at any time, could not sleep, constantly being woken up. Washing spoilt, clothing ruined and out of shape. Medication mixed up. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
In these difficult times, the staff are all very caring to residents and are looking after my relative very well. At this time it is difficult to comment about anything else with regards to cleanliness, food etc. I am grateful activities are carrying on where possible.
The staff at Beechcroft Manor have looked after my mum with great care. They show respect and allow her dignity. The care and dedication to the residents during the pandemic is commendable. Keeping the home free of covid 19 for all these months shows the level of safety that has been followed. The entertainment has continued albeit changed. I am very happy to have my mum looked after at Beechcroft Manor.
My mother took up residence at Beechcroft Manor after suffering a stock. The care and attention she received was outstanding throughout. Both nursing and care staff took a genuine interest in her and were always on hand for any concerns. When she was taken ill and hospitalised two of the nursing staff took it upon themselves to pay her a visit in their own time, which was really appreciated. Sadly Mum passed away at the home just before Christmas, but again the home dealt with compassion/professionalism.
My Mother spent just over a year at Beechcroft Manor Nursing Home. During that time I was delighted at the professional and caring approach demonstrated by all members of staff. In particular, during the final few weeks of her life, senior management and nursing staff went more than the "extra mile" to ensure my Mother was kept as comfortable as possible, insuring her last days and hours were dignified and peaceful.
Over the last year, my mother first went into hospital after a fall, then went to a care home and then back to the hospital. Over this period she was confused and forgetful, she also lost a lot of weight due to having no appetite. Since being at Beechcroft Manor Nursing Home at Gosport she is getting back to her old self, she is eating well and putting a few pounds back on. She has also got her "cheeky" side back which is lovely to see. All of the staff there are great and my mother gets on well with all of them.
Exceptional level of diligence and attention spent in order to ensure that residents have a dignified life.
Even though I have only had dealings with the company for a short amount of time, the care my mother-in-law has received has been second to none. All staff - carers and nurses could not be more kind and helpful.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care my late mother and our family were given. Mum was terminally ill and was treated with such respect and dignity at all times.
In the short time my mum had at Beechcroft Manor Nursing Home, she was treated with compassion and dignity by professional, caring staff. The nursery home manageress went above and beyond when we lost our mum to ensure the best care for her and kept us fully informed at all times. Staff were kind and sympathetic in all of our dealings with them, nothing was too much trouble and the trays of tea and biscuits were welcomed and appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone. They made a very sad time bearable. Thank you.
A good quality home. Nicely located in a quiet residential area. Staff clearly care about those they are looking after. They were very attentive to my mother's needs particularly in the last few weeks of her life. They have her best interests in mind at all times. Communication with myself was excellent.
My mum was placed in Beechcroft Manor by the hospital in February 2017 after a stay in there following a fall. Since then, the care has been top class with nothing being too much trouble. All the staff are amazing and mum loves "the family". I am always made very welcome and feel that mum could not be in better and safer hands. Very satisfied and impressed.
The staff and management are exceptional. They put the needs of the residents first and foremost, encouraging them to participate in activities. They also extend that care to visiting relatives and are kind and thoughtful at all times.
I am sitting with my elderly auntie at Beechcroft Manor Nursing Home - Gosport. Sadly she is very poorly and receiving end of life care. While I sit here with her, I felt the need to write to you to tell you about the amazing people you have working for you. I have been coming to Beechcroft Manor Nursing Home for over 5 years and continue to be humbled by the love, dedication, and care that your staff have shown not only my auntie but all the residents. You should be so proud of each and every one of them, and I am convinced my auntie's life has been enriched by the amazing staff of this truly wonderful nursing home.
