View Full Details of Maple HouseMy sister was nursed here for nine months until her death, sadly on 14/06/24. She received the very best care possible bearing in mind she was completely bedridden from day one. Will be forever grateful for the amazing care and love she received from each and everyone at Maple House.
My overwhelming experience of Maple House is the friendly and caring nature of the staff. My mother is bedridden and staff regularly look into her room to ensure her needs are being met. Visiting relatives are always made to feel welcome and any issues are communicated to the family member in a timely way. I have no hesitation in recommending Maple House.
The compassion the staff have displayed throughout my father's stay has been overwhelming. Everyone seems to enjoy their role at Maple House, and their cheery disposition has been a huge comfort to us, knowing Dad was surrounded by kind, friendly people who really care. While Dad wasn't there long, he was made to feel welcome, as were we, and the attention, care and empathy shown has been a big help to us as his family. Thank you, Maple House staff.
We found the home to be clean, warm and well-maintained. Staff were always polite, helpful, professional and on hand to help. They made the last weeks of my aunt's life happier.
My mother has been living at Maple House Care Home since late 2023. Prior to my mother moving in, I visited the home and importantly knew this was the right place for her. All the staff are friendly, kind and warm-hearted. They make my mother feel special and their smiles radiate happiness and my mother loves this. I am very happy that my mother is at Maple House as I know she is safe and very well looked after. Thank you to all the staff.
My beloved sister was a resident at Maple House Nursing Home for the last 4 years and 10 months of her life. Her situation wasn’t the easiest, she was mentally and physically disabled throughout her life with a cancer diagnosis on top of all that, but everyone showed her compassion from the moment she arrived at Maple House until the very end of her life. She was treated with dignity and respect as well as friendliness. She didn’t want to join in socially downstairs, so the staff kept her company in her room, chatting to her, singing to her, telling her stories, and even playing the violin to her. She was as comfortable as her condition enabled her to be thanks to the wonderful care everyone gave her. They all made it possible for me to entrust my sister to a nursing home, not something I found easy at first. I thank God for such wonderful dedicated human beings. I would recommend this facility without any hesitation to anyone needing their services.
Even though my brother was only there for a short time before he passed away I can honestly say this care home was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond. The care they provided was excellent. My brother's room was lovely and the bed was so nice with a lovely soft duvet. He arrived on his birthday and the staff came and decorated his room with a banner and balloons. They then came later with a cake and card and sang happy birthday to him. I would highly recommend this care home
Our 94 year old father had a 6 week period of rehabilitation and assessment of his future care needs having spent Christmas in hospital following a fall which caused a nasty head injury. On arrival from hospital it was discovered he had COVID. Our fathers introduction to the care system was in isolation until he was COVID negative. The staff were brilliant with him. He enjoyed the interaction with them and was coping with the sudden change from an independent life to that of requiring nursing care. Unfortunately he developed CDIF and required barrier nursing which the nursing staff coped with admirably. We as his family were kept fully updated with his progress and we were greeted enthusiastically and cheerfully during our regular visits. Sadly after six weeks of excellent care our father passed away. We cannot fault the management and staff who worked with us and our father during his stay. We would not hesitate in recommending this nursing home to others.
It was clear from the moment that I and my wife first met the staff at Maple House that the entire focus of the nursing home is on the care and well-being of the residents - in contrast to others that we looked at, they focused more heavily on the appearance of the building and facilities. The care and interaction of the staff with residents at Maple House is second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursing home to others.
Very pleasant atmosphere throughout the home. Staff appear genuinely caring and compassionate. Levels of cleanliness are very good. Food varied and meals well presented. I feel confident that my partner is in receipt of very good, appropriate care and attention. Many activities to keep residents occupied and stimulated. Very very happy with Maple House Care Home and its management and staff.
I am very impressed with the standard of care given to my dad. When he has been lucid, he has said they are very good to him. They do their best to keep him occupied with things he likes to do and have made efforts to discuss this with me and Mum. The staff keep us very well informed regarding his wellbeing and are always friendly and smiley. I am also impressed with the efforts made to provide activities and memory books etc.
Very impressed with this care home, the nurses, carers and staff all seem to go the extra mile to care and help the resident and their visitors. If a request is made regarding your loved one it is (if possible) carried out quickly and you are informed of the outcome. Even the home cat is friendly.
Generally, my mother seems well cared for. She likes the staff and says they all treat her well, although sometimes they are a bit rushed. Unfortunately, her bottom set of teeth went missing, but she could have just taken them out because they were uncomfortable and they got thrown away. She is awaiting the visit of a dentist but doesn't seem too worried by it now, thankfully.
Maple House prides itself on the warm, friendly and caring nature that the staff give to their residents to ensure they remain happy, content and as independent as possible. The dedicated staff are active at addressing any issues, problems or anxieties residents face when moving into a new care environment. I can't thank the entire staff enough for the amazing care that they give my dad.
Excellent service. Friendly staff and caring.
My mother's care over the last 4-5 months has been very good. She is treated as an individual and her preferences taken into account and noted. The communication between the home manager and me is excellent. I am updated regularly on any changes in her condition or medication and feel confident she is receiving the best possible care.
Lovely caring environment. Mum is very well looked after, especially during these difficult times.
Very good. My sister is looking well and happy and I am happy.
My grandmother receives excellent care in this establishment. Staff are friendly and extremely hardworking. Most importantly my grandmother is very happy living here. Her care needs are met to a high standard. I am kept informed with any changes in her care on a regular basis.
