View Full Details of Woodlands Ridge Nursing HomeFantastic friendly, caring staff. Disappointed there is no comfy chair in Mum's room.
We can only wish that our father was in Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home for a much longer period. He was well cared for, treated with kindness and happy to be involved in all activities. We can't thank the staff enough for his care at the end of his life and the dignity shown to him and us as a family when he passed.
I have always found the home welcoming, and the carers are polite, cheerful and willing to help with any matter requiring attention.
Pleasant and clean environment. Staff are very professional and cheery. I feel that my mother is in the best hands possible.
Mum was transferred here from the hospital. All the staff are so kind, caring, professional, friendly and welcoming to both Mum and us. Mum is so well looked after and with such dignity. The staff are also here for us which is brilliant because it can be quite daunting when a loved one goes into a home. We are so pleased Mum was transferred here and couldn't wish for more. Mum and her room are always immaculately clean. There is a variety of activities which is inclusive of everyone's abilities. The food is amazing and there is a good choice and the staff have time to feed Mum. It's a beautiful home with lovely rooms and communal areas beautiful gardens and an enclosed patio area. The communication is excellent and we're kept up to date with everything and everyone is so approachable and happy to help with anything. The home is very organised and well-run in a lovely, friendly, relaxed and homely environment. Attention to detail is amazing here.
Friendly, caring, attentive staff and manager. Looked after my mum and me and wife as well.
My father was discharged for assessment from hospital to Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home. The whole team provided exemplary care during his final days. He was treated with dignity, compassion and respect. He was in a large room overlooking beautiful gardens and was kept comfortable with tender loving care. All members of staff we came into contact with behaved impeccably towards Dad and us. When we visited, Staff Members from the Manager down popped by to say hello and update us re his circumstances. They were on hand for us too when needed. The home has its own chef and the food provided looked very good. There were choices too. The staff had time to feed the residents. Dad always looked clean and shaven, even during his last few days. Our overriding memory will be of his 90th birthday celebration there. A huge cake was prepared by the chef and we were offered copious cups of tea and refreshments. Visiting was anytime. We were privileged to have had the last 2 months of his life here.
Everything seems very satisfactory. Mum has definitely improved lately. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Very good care. Exemplary. Highly recommended.
My mother-in-law has been here for over four weeks now, she is very content and has settled in so well. From our point of view, as a family, we couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention that she is receiving at Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home. The home is so welcoming and friendly and the staff are all so caring. Thank you to everyone at Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home, we couldn't wish for better care for my mother-in-law.
Really enjoyed the day. Happy with the care home. Very nice staff.
Carers are all well-natured and spend time looking after Mum and her needs.
I always find the home to be very well organised and a happy place to visit. My mother is extremely well cared for and her needs are met in a very respectful manner. The staff are dedicated and very approachable. As a family, we are very reassured that my mother is cared for at Woodlands Ridge.
Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home is welcoming and friendly but most of all professional. Always talking and making sure everyone is okay. The rooms are clean. Linen is always done and packed away, great to see. Always a smile when I come here and that is lovely because sometimes you feel a bit down but they care for everyone in my eyes.
Excellent care with incredible staff. We know that our family member is safe and cared for.
Lots of friendly staff around who are very attentive, caring, kind and patient. Nice lounge and garden facilities. The bed appears to face the wall rather than facing the window to look out, more pictures would be good. Any of the ratings marked other than excellent are due to not many visits.
The first visit - sat outside all the time so did not see inside rooms etc, but very friendly staff and we were well received - tea and cakes. It was my relative's 93rd birthday.
Mum was transferred here from the hospital to recuperate. All the staff I have met or spoken to on the phone have always been cheerful and helpful, despite how busy they are. Mum is happy and settled and we feel very well cared for. Her room was decorated for her birthday and the chef baked a cake for our visit. Such helpful, welcoming people make the fact that Mum needs to be in a home much less upsetting and we are grateful for their care and attention. The home is clean and well decorated with a variety of spaces for residents to relax in.
My Grandmother was transferred from Hospital to Woodlands Ridge Nursing Home. She spent the last 4 months of her life here. When she moved in the manager was helpful and reassuring. All questions I had were answered quickly and moving in was a smooth transition. The staff were always helpful, kind, caring and able to answer any practical questions or direct questions relating to health. The home were proactive in contacting the doctor as necessary and keeping me informed. Whenever I called up they were helpful and knew exactly the details on her care. Towards the end of her life, the home were supportive and compassionate. They have some exceptional staff who kept our families wishes. If we had a question it was never too much trouble even though they were busy.
From the moment mum arrived at Woodlands the staff have been excellent throughout. Everyone there speaks to mum and make her feel special and a part of her new environment. All the care team are professional, helpful and kind nothing is left to chance. The cleanliness, room size and 100% caring support is outstanding. All the staff treat her with dignity and always try to get mum involved in shared tasks the staff carry out this makes mum feel needed and content. The food is plentiful and mealtimes and the many various activities all help mum to stay active and date. Arranging a visit is easy and are always booked so mum has a full and interesting day. The staff always have mum ready when I arrive so there is good communication within the whole team. Safety is good and I feel that within the care team everyone is always looked after closely. I could not be more pleased that mum is in Woodland Ridge.
