Our friend was terminally ill and knew it himself. The staff dealing with him were amazingly attentive and supportive. If he asked for attention by ringing the bell, the response from staff was immediate. Three of us were with him when he died. When the staff heard the news from us, we had sympathies and hugs from staff. They then sat us down in a quiet area to settle ourselves and they brought us coffee. Amazing service for which we are very grateful.

We had teething problems in the beginning that were dealt with in a very professional, caring way. So happy that my mum likes staying at Barchester Bushey House Beaumont. We see lots of smiles from staff and have noticed how attentive and caring they are to residents and families. Thank you so much.

A restful stay, really enjoyed my time at Barchester Bushey House Beaumont, the staff were kind. While it was not perfect, I had a lovely stay and would recommend the care home.

My husband has enjoyed his time here, I was happy because I knew he would be looked after really well. The food and ambience has been wonderful, its like a five star hotel. We will certainly use the home again because it is like a real home, it is so comfortable. Had lunch with my husband and it was excellent. I would like to stay here myself. I will tell everyone how good it was. Thank you.

When we first arrived in the care park, we looked in through the kitchen window and were very impressed with the size and quality. The menu reflects that good first impression. My aunt is very happy here and though reluctant at first, now joins in with many of the activities.

My mother had a great stay at the Barchester Bushey House Beaumont Care Home for two weeks of respite. The team were really attentive to her needs and it was great to see her engaged in the daily activities or enjoying the sunshine in the beautiful grounds.

From the first telephone conversation, to visiting the home, to check out, was brilliant. We were shown the grounds, the rooms, the customer waiting room, the dining area, all were very nicely decorated. I would recommend this facility to anyone. I can also say they accommodated both my parents in one room.

A staff member has been absolutely incredible from the first show round to my uncle, moving in. He has been so informative, professional and has dealt with my uncle with great dignity. Highly recommend.

I have been staying at Barchester Bushey House every August for the last three years and have loved it, for respite care. The quality of care is outstanding; the staff are incredibly kind and caring. The home boasts a happy, cheerful atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. The food is good, and nutritious with plenty of choice. The grounds are spacious and pleasant to view. The recent refurbishment of rooms is tastefully designed and eye-catching. It's been a pleasure to stay at this care home.

I was very worried and anxious about coming to respite care but I needn't have worried. I settled down very quickly and got used to the routine with help from the brilliant nurses and care staff. I couldn't have asked for better care and support. I am very grateful.

When my husband was staying with you, I think you were short-staffed as he had to wait a long time for anyone to come when he rang the bell.

My wife and I came to your home with two specific problems. my wife had a spinal problem and diabetes. I was a full hip replacement and joined my wife four days later. Your care team and medical team were caring and professional at all times, you should be very proud of your whole team. We booked for two weeks respite but because of the very special care, we extended our stay a further week. We now feel the benefit of staying longer. We would recommend your home to anyone who needs care. Thank you.

My brother sadly requires palliative care which was a great shock to the family. Bushey Beaumont has been absolutely fantastic. The care he receives is exceptional and the time they all spend with him has really helped him to become happy and content. I cannot thank the staff enough for all the support the family have received and for everything they have done for my brother since he was admitted two weeks ago. The home is always clean and fresh and his room is fantastic. I would highly recommend this home.

My brother-in-law recently required palliative care and was moved to Bushey Beaumont. Since he has been there we have seen such a big improvement in him. He is comfortable and happy. The staff are so kind, caring and attentive. The care he has received has been excellent. They have been really supportive throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend this home.

Came here for respite having been in hospital for mycoplasma pneumonia for much-needed rest and recuperation. This is the first respite I have ever been to and Barchester Bushey House Beaumont was recommended and turned out to be a very good choice. I am now feeling stronger and this is due to the care and attention of the staff throughout the home. Everybody has been very kind. As I didn't need medical attention very much, the nurses were always on hand should I need them. The meals were delicious and I am going to miss the variety of cooking! The manager was always on hand to speak to and I appreciated her experience and kindness in making me feel at home! Would recommend it.
