Everyone is really lovely. They always make me happy and laugh. The carers are kind and always help me when I need to do something. I don't like to come from my room because it's lovely and I can watch what I like. All staff come in to speak with me several times a day.

We as a family could not have asked for a better care home for our elderly mother. In the 6 months she was there the carers, nurses and management team were outstanding! The care, the love and kindness each resident is shown is amazing and genuine! I've cannot recommend enough! Thank you all the team at Hatfield Nursing Home!

I have found everything about Hatfield Nursing Home extremely kind, considerate and helpful. Management, carers and staff are excellent. My wish is only that I could get her nearer to me, so that I could see her more often. I find it difficult now doing the journey. To see her more often, I feel it is very important to her. I know it would be difficult to find better accommodation. Fingers crossed.

I came to see my friend who I have not seen for a while. He looked really happy and content. I could see the home has had some renovations, which was lovely to see. The staff were engaging really well with my friend and they were bringing out his smile. When I came in he was engaging in activities and there was a lot of laughter throughout my visit. I spoke with the management team who also were walking around the unit and they engaged with every resident on their way. I love to see everyone involved. If I am ever to go into a care home it definitely would be this one. Thanks for all you do.

When my friend first came to you it was a huge wrench for him, he didn't really understand what was happening, all he could understand was that he had lost something important but didn't know what it was. He was angry, aggressive and broken. The first few times we visited him he was angry, dishevelled, unshaven and did not seem to be thriving. But now he has settled in and accepted his new home, on our last visit he recognised us, he was happy and chatty, not one swear word and we had a lovely time with him. The staff we have met have all been lovely and extremely helpful.

Since my father arrived at the care home he was shown nothing but empathy and care all carried out with the utmost dignity. The staff are all so lovely and make a real effort to interact with the residents and their relatives. Unfortunately, we recently lost my dad but he was made as comfortable as he could be in his last few weeks and that has given us some comfort as a family.

The staff are excellent so caring, nothing is too much trouble. Our mum is taken very great care of, they have great facilities. Everyone is so friendly. Our mum says that the food is excellent. We are always made very welcome, every time we come to visit our mum. Management are also lovely.

We've been really happy with the care Dad has received at Hatfield. It is so reassuring for us as a family to know that he is safe and is being looked after by a team of kind and patient staff. They understand his needs and strive to meet them.

Dad is being very well looked after, with around-the-clock support and assistance. People are very caring and genuine. We are kept up to date with Dad's provides and if there are any issues. We have overcome getting through to the ward via telephone and help is always at hand. We are happy Dad is in a nice care home with all the assistance he requires.

My brother was a nursing care resident at Hatfield Nursing Home from July 2023 to February 2024 and during this time he was very happy there. He had a spacious room with a view he loved. He was well cared for and he thought the food was delicious. The management staff have been exceptionally caring and supportive to us, as have the other staff we had contact with and also the nursing staff who looked after my brother.

From the first few minutes in being here my dad started to thrive, would thoroughly recommend, lovely home, so friendly and caring.

Such a lovely afternoon for residents and relatives! The gentleman is a very talented musician/singer with a good voice and a good mix of 50s/60s music, a great choice by the activities team. Two members of staff did a brilliant job at getting that organised, hats off to them and everything ran smoothly. Also, the music was just at the right sound level for the room! All of the residents seemed to enjoy the performance. Well done to all.

I feel my father is very well looked after and supported in the home, He is happy and enjoys interacting with staff. The staff are lovely and engaging with residents as well as family members. The activities are good. My father especially enjoys the musical entertainer visits. He loves to sing and dance. It's lovely to see residents' faces light up as they remember songs and reminisce.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean environment, staff were on hand to answer any questions, the management team are very welcoming and easy to approach, members of staff are always checking on residents and make visitors feel welcome. I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for care.

We have been welcomed with open hands by all staff members, especially one, she is amazing and all the other staff members. My nan came as respite and is really enjoying home. She tells the family everyone is really kind and lovely. Thank you for my nan receiving quality care.

Amazing care and attention. My aunt is very happy here. I am involved in her care and staff always keep me up to date. Staff are very friendly and approachable.
