View Full Details of Kilfillan House Care HomeWe are grateful for all the kindness, comfort and care my husband received while residing here for palliative care.
After 3 months my wife is still receiving excellent care and attention at Kilfillan House. One highlight was Christmas Day when I was invited to dinner. The staff set up a festive table in the conservatory, and the chef and her team served up an excellent meal. Any request we have made has always been dealt with.
My husband has been in Kilfillan House for a year and is well looked after. Anything wanted going and the carers are there. The kitchen staff did wonders over Christmas, with excellent service. I was in for two weeks over Christmas. Best Christmas I had in a long time. I would go again.
Kind, caring staff. Good food.
From the manager who showed us round to the kind and caring staff, we couldn't have been happier with the respite care my father received in the 2 weeks at Kilfillan House. It was a perfect place to recover after surgery and he left stronger and more confident to cope with life at home. Thank you to them all.
Went to visit my father. There was a singer/comedian there entertaining everyone. It was lovely to see smiles on the residents and my father was singing along to the songs and crying at the jokes. The staff joined in and came around with drinks and snacks. So very relaxed and happy. Well done everyone at Kilfillan House and thank you.
I have been overwhelmed by the loving care that my wife and I have received from all of the staff at Kilfillan. I do not believe I could have found a better care home anywhere. I would like to thank each member of staff for being so kind to us.

I was here May to August 2023 and was well looked after. Staff were all so caring and helpful. I returned to see them in December to thank them and have a cup of team and cake.
Excellent care for my mother for her rehabilitation following hip replacement surgery. Each and every member of staff were exceptional in all aspects of her care. They were kind, caring, professional, supportive, efficient, considerate, friendly, welcoming, understanding and all went above and beyond helping to care for and rehabilitate my mother so that she could recover and return home.
Mum was referred and admitted to Kilfillan House in June 2023 for palliative care. She could not have been in kinder or more experienced hands. From the moment she arrived until her death yesterday she was treated with empathy and kindness - from day to day care, to nutrition and the cleanliness of her room. Mum was a lovely lady and her final months were made special by each and every member of staff. I can't thank you all enough.
My aunty stayed at Kilfillan House for fifteen months where she was treated with dignity, respect and care. The level of treatment needed varied throughout her stay and at each stage the staff adapted their care to meet her needs. Kilfillan House has a wide range of activities and events for residents and their families. They facilitated communication with the wider family and gave my aunty comfort and care right to the end. I can't recommend the team at Kilfillan House enough, they were lovely through the time we've known them.
An incredibly caring, kind, friendly home. Felt like a home from home the moment we entered. Everyone had Dad's best interests at heart. Cared for him until the end. We were so happy with the staff, facilities and general running of the home. Can't recommend it enough.
