View Full Details of Creedy HouseMy wife was recently taken to a nearby hospital for an appointment. Our daughter met the carer and my wife in hospital as the home suggested a familiar face would be helpful. I was unable to attend. My daughter remarked on how organised, friendly and caring she was to my wife, having organised food and drink for her as well. My wife has severe dementia.
My mother has been a resident at Creedy House for nearly three years. She seems very happy there and enjoys the activities offered, particularly anything music related. The staff are very good with her, treating her with kindness, dignity and respect.
Mum seems very happy and well cared for at Creedy House. The staff seem very nice and polite and seem to really care that the residents are happy and well taken care of.
We are very pleased with the way everything is done here. We call and visit on the same day with no problem. My mother-in-law is comfortable and well looked after. The room and she smell nice and clean. The staff are friendly.
Very good.
Since arrival, our Mum has settled in very well. She is much calmer and relaxed and feels that her needs are being met. We feel the continuity of staffing has benefited the needs of our Mum with dementia. We feel the staff are highly trained and have a great understanding of the benefits of Mum caring for her babies- thank you! We have left the activities blank as we are unsure of the activities. We are so grateful for the whole team's dedication and commitment to providing Mum with the best possible care and support for her complex needs.
I've found that since my wife has been in care at Creedy House she is so much calmer and settled than she has been for the past 15 months. She's only been here for a couple of months and I'm very happy with her care, well-being, and attention given by all the staff. Most excellent!
My husband's care at Creedy House has been exemplary. He has settled in well and the care staff are kind, caring, and friendly. The staff send photos and are always willing to share information and keep me up to date with my husband's care. My husband is happy and I am very pleased with the care he is getting.
The staff are very helpful always someone there when I leave to take care of my husband and settle him down as he gets very agitated when I'm about to leave. My husband enjoys the activities and when I'm there and it's music he loves to have a dance with me and a lot of the colouring he has done is put up on the walls. I cannot find fault in Creedy at all.
My Mother has been a resident at Creedy House for around two years. I think it is a wonderful nursing home. It has a warm, friendly environment and the staff are excellent. It is the best care home my Mother has been on by a mile! They care and respect the residents.
The staff were very good at keeping me informed and sending me photos of my husband looking happy, which comforted me.
My father has now been at Creedy House for just over one year. He is happy and settled and I am very pleased with the care that he receives. Staff are always pleasant and courteous to both myself and my father and they have made what was a stressful situation so much easier to cope with.
Dad has been a resident at Creedy House for just over six months and has settled in well. The manager is approachable and has been supportive of us as a family. Dad's mobility issues have been addressed and although his physical and emotional needs are changing the staff have adapted with compassion and understanding. The home is welcoming, and clean and the staff are both professional and friendly.
My mother went into Creedy House suffering from dementia, having done so for a number of years. She attacked my husband in 2022 claiming he was a burglar. The police and ambulance crews attended and it was decided for her own safety to take her to Creedy House. This was the best decision we have ever made for her. She was very happy going there and in her own way, still. The staff love her to pieces. She loves the garden and from her window watches out for burglars in the area. Creedy House is well kept, clean with good food. My mum is well cared for and loved like one of the family. Thank you Creedy House.
I enjoy visiting my brother at Creedy House, there is always a friendly welcome by staff. Top marks for cleanliness, the communal areas are always kept clean and tidy and very nicely decorated with well-chosen colours. My brother and I enjoy sitting in the well-kept gardens and look forward to the various garden parties throughout the year. My brother enjoys the activities throughout the week. My only concern is the quality and nutrition of the food served. Overall very happy with my brother's care.
My sister has been at Creedy House since January 2023. We have found the staff to be very sympathetic and caring. My sister has been welcomed and Creedy has been very good at monitoring her bipolar condition.
Generally happy with the home, my wife appears content. Communication between the home and the family could be better and quicker. Plenty of activities are offered and the home is clean and safe. Staff are helpful to answer questions and booking visits is straightforward.
Mum has been extremely well looked after at Creedy House. She is stimulated with the music and other activities. Consequently, this has eased the extreme pressure on Dad when he was looking after Mum at home. Creedy staff always welcome the whole family.
Nothing is too much trouble. The managers and staff are truly professional and kind. Well decorated and clean. A nice friendly environment for residents and visitors alike.
Friendly, kind and welcoming staff. Any queries are addressed promptly. The home is brightly decorated with suitable background music always playing- to stimulate dementia residents. Mum's ground-floor sunny room overlooked the garden. Her family were able to visit regularly so we could continue to interact with her (play ball games etc). She loved going around the garden, it's there to be used! She also enjoyed the regular entertainment. Again it stimulated the residents...so important! The staff looked after us as a family too, as we all had long journeys to see our lovely Mum. Lots of tea etc. Kept us going! Mum is now in a home nearer to us, it's not up to Creedys standards, so another move soon.
