View Full Details of Little CourtMy husband stayed at Little Court from April 2024 until he died on January 3rd. At first, he was there for respite care as I was unable to care for him at home as I had broken my hip on the 15th of April. He was looked after by very efficient and friendly staff and seemed happy. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's had taken his speech and most verbal communication, but as he was always a gentleman and accepting of the situation, he was popular with the staff. I visited several times a week and the care home was always clean and smelt fresh. The staff were attentive and caring and the atmosphere was that of a happy home. The food was prepared in the kitchen very close at hand and was fresh and appealing and served to whoever needed assistance. Clothes were constantly being cleaned and replaced. Overall, I couldn't fault Little Court and it made a lasting impression on me as until then, I had not experienced a care home of any kind.
My mother was admitted to Little Court Nursing Home for palliative care. She was only there 5-6 weeks before she passed away. In that short time Mum was at Little Court she received the best care from all the staff. Any issues that Mum had were addressed straight away. The staff were so friendly and happy and nothing was too much trouble. I felt assured that when I was not able to see Mum as much as I would have liked to, she was well cared for. Thank you Little Court.
My mother was admitted to Little Court for palliative care, she was only there a short time before sadly passing away but in that time all the staff and management were friendly, patient, caring and professional, I feel comforted knowing she was in exceptional hands.
My next of kin was a resident of Little Court for 18 months before sadly passing away in August. He suffered from dementia and was chairbound but the carers were always lovely to him and very patient. Any medical issues were spotted straight away and he received excellent nursing care. His room and he himself were always kept very clean and there were never any nasty smells in the house! Everyone was very cheerful and there was a good variety of entertainment for those able to join in. But one of the stand out points about Little Court was the communication. I had regular face to face meetings with the Manager and any issues were followed up without chasing. The app they use allowed me to see how my relative was doing on a daily basis if I wanted and I appreciated the notes that the staff entered into it. If there were any more serious concerns, I was contacted by phone immediately. This excellent and consistent communication reassured me that I was being kept up to date.
I visited my old friend today to drop off some personal possessions. All the staff were very helpful and despite it clearly being a busy time, showed patience and understanding. Many thanks.
Many thanks to Little Court for helping me with my much-loved mother, following a fall and a period in the hospital, with respite care. The speed and ease of accepting her was of great support to all our family. Her room was bright and kept spotless, the carers were very friendly, cheerful and so willing to help. I was able to have a few days away, knowing that she was in very good hands! Thanks so much to everyone.
My mother had to move homes in a hurry as her previous one was closing at short notice. In the event, she was only there for eight days before she died, but in that time she was very well cared for. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and, as a family, we're glad she was in the peaceful surroundings of Little Court.
My mum was looked after with such dedication and professionalism during her time there. Mum was in palliative care and all the staff ensured she was made comfortable in her final days. My husband and I were also welcomed and treated very well when we visited Mum daily.
Very lovely care home, kind and considerate, my mum is very happy and very well looked after. She has a special diet which is always provided, I have always felt welcome when I have visited. Very friendly.
Excellent care given throughout the service user's stay. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was always kept clean. Good washing facilities available.
My mother has been living at Little Court Care Home for the past 2 years. We are very happy with all the good care she has been given. The staff are very kind and cheerful and work very hard to ensure the very best of care. My mother is nearly 99 years old but we know she is very happy with her care.
Happy with the support received all the staff were really helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the garden room and chatting. We were often visiting at meal times and all the meals looked plentiful and appetising. I am pleased to say that he enjoyed his stay
In my opinion, the home is of a very good standard. The care staff are of a very high standard and very thoughtful. The food is plentiful although the cooking leaves a lot to be desired with meat usually tough.
Thanks for making mum's respite care so smooth. Mum said the food was great and she had plenty to eat and drink - she loves her food. The staff were kind and thoughtful and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I live 600 miles away so it was reassuring to know mum was well looked after and that when I phoned, the staff never minded taking the phone to her. All in all 5 stars, thank you very much.
Our Dad has been at Little Court since April with Dementia, he was made welcome by everyone on arrival and has been treated with kindness and respect by all the staff which is so important at this difficult time. He was previously at Little Court for respite a year ago and we were so pleased when they were able to offer him a place when my 90-year-old mum could no longer care for him at home when it become clear he needed 24-hour care and attention. As a family we would like to thank the manager and all the staff at Little Court for all the kindness, care and respect given to Dad and the continued support you show to our mum, we are very grateful to all involved.
My dad has been in the care home since Feb 2021 and my mother and I are comfortable with the knowledge that dad is very well looked after. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the service they provide to us, as a family, has always been brilliant.
Dad has been at Little Court since March 2021. Under the circumstances (he is bed-bound and completely reliant on staff) he seems as happy as we could hope for. If ever there is an issue with dads health I am always informed quickly. Due to Covid and the distance I have to travel I have not spent anywhere near as much time at Little Court with dad as I would have liked, so I can only comment on my limited experience of everything. However, I regularly log in for updates and can see that he is pretty well attended to. I can trust he is being looked after and is as content as he can be considering his body has failed him. Communication with the management and nursing team has always been very good. In my opinion, Little Court is definitely one of the better care homes!
Mum moved into Little Court Nursing Home in January 2022. Making the decision to have Mum go into care was a very stressful time the staff at the home supported us as a family, whilst Mum made the transition. The staff are always very welcoming and Mum is well looked after. I have been impressed by their professionalism and dedication to their residents the staff are truly patient, kind and understanding. Whenever I visit the home, it is clean and Mum is too and her room is clean and tidy. Mum improved in her mobility and cognitive ability after she settled in. She has been nursed through one or two spells of being unwell and despite being very frail, she is still doing relatively well and I feel the staff will do what is required in her best interests. We feel very lucky to have been able to have Mum in such a lovely spot with such kind people looking after her.
Our mother stayed at Little Court for four months before sadly dying at the end of August. Mum was always treated with kindness, respect and dignity. Every single member of staff was absolutely amazing. In her last few days, my sister and I plus several of her grandchildren stayed with her all the time. This gave us the opportunity to create some very special memories and for that, we are truly grateful. The support and care we were all shown was outstanding.
I have been very impressed with the friendliness and standard of care provided by Little court staff. The food is excellent and certainly the foom my wife is in is very impressive and good facilities. Nursing care is also very good in dealing with my wife, ankle injury problems and her dementia.
