View Full Details of Grace Manor Care CentreMy father needed more care than we could safely provide and we selected Grace Manor following a previous visit and feeling that the home could be right for my father. All the team have been very supportive in getting my father settled into the home. All the team show him kindness and interest in him as an individual, which has been very important in helping him settle and feel safe in his new environment. It was a very big and emotional decision for us and this has certainly been made smoother by the support we received. When I say 'all the team' this covers the nurses, carers, dinner staff, laundry and maintenance - who I have seen address my father in a kind respectful way.
I have been happy with my aunt's care at Grace Manor Care Center since she moved in back in January 2022. There are plenty of activities for her to get involved with if she chooses, and the staff are caring and friendly.
Mum is very happy at Grace Manor Care Centre, she enjoys the activities, loves her room which has all her photos and her own furniture. She loves to be outside which the staff are well aware of so on any nice day (summer and winter) they will sit her outside in the lovely garden. The staff are so attentive and take the time to chat and have a laugh with her. She is still able to get out to her other activities but is always warmly welcomed home.
Most of the staff are lovely and some do care. But let's just say I've seen more than enough! If you really care about your loved ones think long and hard before leaving them alone at Grace Manor! And I wasn't the only relative that had problems.
We are very happy with Grace Manor Care Centre. They have been excellent with my Mum who suffered with a stroke. She is very happy and comfortable, she enjoys the food and the activities provided most days. All the carers are very friendly and attentive and the management are very helpful to any queries I might have. Overall we are very happy with Grace Manor Care Centre and would recommend to anyone.
Our mum had a month's stay at Grace Manor, in November 2024, following an accident at home. In that short time, the staff were really good to her and so caring, from the maintenance staff, laundry lady, care staff and nurses. Before being taken ill, our mum did enjoy some activities, which completely surprised us, thanks to one lady. She was pleased to be featured on social media. Mum always liked the food, praise indeed. Mum's health took a sudden turn for the worse and the level of care and compassion given was maintained. Thanks to everybody, for looking after our mum and making her last days as good as they could.
The staff at Grace Manor Care Centre are all so kind, friendly, make my husband as comfortable and calm as if he was at home and I cannot thank them enough for all they do for us as a family in his end of life care.
From the first moments of contact with Grace Manor I have been extremely happy with the care and attention my wife has received. Nothing is too much trouble and any issues are dealt with without fuss. She is in the best place and has actually improved from being non-verbal and almost immobile to just the opposite due to the carers' engagement with her to get her to the table and more. Nothing short of a miracle. Thank you all.
Grace Manor has been brilliant since my father moved there 6 months ago. The staff are so attentive and caring. There are lots of activities for the residents to do. My family and I are really pleased that Dad is here and would definitely recommend Grace Manor.
Staff members are all very friendly and welcoming. Very engaging and supportive to my dad 24/7. Lovely building and gardens. My dad feels safe and happy in his room, which has his personal belongings in. Overall, very happy with care and support provided.
Since my dad has been a resident here he has received the best care, the staff go above and beyond and always greet him with a smile which really does make a difference. Having a parent in a care home is not something I ever thought I would have to deal with so knowing he is well looked after helps massively. There is always something on to keep the residents entertained which is great, and any concerns I have are always listened to and dealt with promptly. Thank you, Grace Manor!
The staff treated my mum really well, my mum was looked after really well, with good hygiene and cleanliness, good food and good administration. Overall the home is a very good care home, when we brought my mom here the staff were good to her from day one.
Very pleased. My husband now joins in some activities. He has been to a fast food outlet plus a trip to the seaside. He is very settled here. Staff makes a big effort with him. He looks smart and care for.
Grace Manor Care Centre is an excellent home for a loved one. The care is very good from carers and management. My mother has a lovely clean room, nice food and is well looked after. Couldn't ask for more for her.
My brother is in the care centre for dementia care and has been there for a few years and the care he receives seems to be helping him best knowing his situation. We receive a video call from the nurse with my brother there every two weeks and it seems to help him as well. We visited him recently and all the staff there were polite and seemed to know all about him. All our thanks go out to all the staff there and to continue as you are.
I was referred to Grace Manor as I'm terminally ill. My reception I can only describe as fantastic. On arrival I had a lot of trepidation, which was allayed by the wonderful staff and since I've been here they have been nothing short of amazing, caring and professional. I would highly recommend Grace Manor.
Grace Manor has cared for my dad for the last 10 months until he sadly died recently. During his time there I can honestly say we as a family and my dad were treated with genuine care, respect and dignity. The staff are brilliant, always willing to chat with us and my dad and always with a smile on their face. I truly believe that given my dad's circumstances, he couldn’t have wished for a more dignified and comfortable stay/experience anywhere else. I don’t think I’m allowed to reference individual names but some went way above what I would expect. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who cared for my dad and I would not hesitate to recommend Grace Manor.
My mother has resided in Grave Manor since June 2018, and the overall level of care has been extremely good; my mum was very happy and settled there. The carers were consistent and to a high standard, and my mum was treated with dignity. Sadly, my mum passed away recently. I have no reservations about recommending Grace Manor Care Centre to anyone. Thank you for looking after my mum.
My experiences of Grace Manor have been excellent, in all aspects. Nothing is a problem for all the members of staff, who are also very supportive and friendly.
All staff are very kind, friendly and very caring. The quality is second to none, and I would recommend it to anyone. They do a lot of activities with residents and make their rooms as homely as if they were at home.
