View Full Details of Banbury Heights Nursing HomeBanbury Heights have gone above and beyond the need to look after my mum, she has been treated with respect, dignity and care. All staff are amazing going beyond their line of duty, and are golden! I cannot express my appreciation enough. I think this Care Home is outstanding. My mum is looked after, fed, warm and comfortable in her last days of life, which are few. This home deserves credit.
Do not send family members here. Worst care home ever. Stole money from my grandmother had to get the police involved. When we confronted the staff they served notice for my gran to leave (best thing to happen as the place is so bad). The managers are awful and constantly lie. Worst thing I did was send my family here. Should have believed the reviews I read. Levels of neglect is unreal. I visited plenty of times and its so poor. Dirty beds and rooms, unresponsive staff, latest was toilets being out of order for 4 days, took videos off this. We constantly took pictures as was so bad, had to be reported. Would not have give this place a single star if this this site would allow it, this place needs to be shut down!
Throughout my husband's six-week stay, he was treated with kindness, respect and dignity. All staff are professional, cheerful and helpful. It has been a pleasure to visit him here.
As the Roman Catholic Chaplain I have been visiting Roman Catholic residents for the past 20 years and have always been well received. The staff have always been helpful and I enjoy visiting many of the residents.
I have to live the rest of my life knowing that I sent my mum here for the last 6 weeks of her life. The staff spoke their own language quite a bit and didn't seem to interact with my mum or other residents while I was there. Hot/warm water was given to Mum to rinse her mouth out after brushing her teeth (when she was given her toothbrush). The food didn't look or taste nice. Should have phoned me in the morning of the 7th of August when Mum said she felt unwell and had stomach pains.
I am writing to say what a joy and pleasure it is for me to visit a friend in Banbury Heights Nursing Home. I am always warmly welcomed by all staff - management. With fifteen years of visiting, I find it a sheer joy and always look forward to going twice every week. And why is this? Simply because of all the love and care given to the residents, especially my friend and she always says how much she likes living there and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, I am more than impressed with what I see every time I visit.
My husband was in the care home for really 13 months and was looked after very well by all the staff. Everyone seems very cheerful and very hardworking and dedicated to what they do. Thank you so much for looking after my husband so well.
Thank you for taking care of my auntie, she was very happy with you at Banbury Heights Nursing Home and made lots of friends. We as a family were very sad when she had to leave you but she has now moved nearer to family which is also important to her well-being. Again, thank you all very much for taking such great care of her for us.
The carers are all lovely. The staff are helpful and friendly. Parking can be tricky sometimes. The food is excellent and plentiful (regular tea round). Overall I am happy with the care home. The staff are approachable if you have any concerns.
My mother-in-law has been a resident the since August 2022 after being at another home which she hated. She is now settled, so content and speaks highly of the home and staff members here. It really makes us feel content that she is very happy. Given five stars because they all deserve it.
The staff are amazing, they go above and beyond, my mum never wanted to go into a home. Once she was there she loved it. Also, the staff, the food, and her room. She died on 18th November and I live in Colorado, USA. They kept trying to get hold of me until they did. They were kind, caring, and like a family. The manager registered her death and got my death certificate. The other staff have always gone out of their way to help me and my mum, I am so happy she was in such a great place.
My father moved to Banbury Heights Nursing Home after a period of respite care in another nursing home and my initial impression, based partly on the comparison, was that the home felt large and a bit tired and that his room was small. However, please do not be put off by this, as the staff are attentive and the care he received was excellent. I only wish we could have got him into Banbury Heights sooner as he, unfortunately, passed away in less than 48 hours of arriving. Again on his passing, the staff were exemplary. They were helpful and kind and made a difficult time that little bit easier. Many thanks to all at Banbury Heights who cared for my father and myself during this time.
A peaceful, calm quiet home for my father after a lengthy stay in hospital. I am impressed with the organised and professional manner with the information given to our family. Dad's room is very clean his bedding is also so clean. The staff have been helpful and kind. We feel relieved dad is so comfortable and have faith in the home and their ability to provide his care.
Caring staff who obviously work hard. Beleive the dementia floor and ticky to manage the different needs of residents with mild symptoms together in the same space as those with unpredictable behaviour. This and the homes setting are the reason he's moving. Again their care is great and the staff are lovely!
I can comment only generally on facilities etc. but found the staff excellent in attitude and patience, particularly with dealing with covid tests for visiting. Thank you and congratulations on your patience and hard work.
Everybody is so kind and helpful.
Very kind staff. Nice treatment of my relative. Clean, pleasant and good food.
Lovely.
Kind and considerate carers, nothing was too much trouble. The only improvement would be the food as vegetables were not well cooked and tough to eat. Also need more rapid response to a resident's alarms, especially when they need help going to the toilet. Toilet urgency should take priority over serving food, especially with elderly residents.
It took me a little time to get used to the routine here but I'm getting there. The lighting here is not very good so not keeping on the lines (trouble is I'm very much a recycled teenager!)
