View Full Details of Fewcott House Nursing HomeHe was well cared for and kept clean and tidy. The room was always clean and he had regular visits from friendly staff who always made family welcome.
We cannot fault the care and support my husband has received at Fewcott House. if he needs a doctor one arrives promptly. The staff are so professional and couldn't be more helpful. All the staff from the chefs to the nurses are cheerful and considerate. Hospital/dentist trips have been organised when needed. Food seems tasty. The room is new and fresh and the French Doors outside are great.
I cannot express how much the care for my father was dignified and he was so lucky to have staff. I cannot praise the staff and especially his one carer who is an angel sent from heaven. I am glad he had his lasting days here
Absolutely blown away by the care and love not only nan received but also us as a family thank you to all the staff at the Fewcott House.
The care Home manager, Assistant Manager, Nurses and Care Assistants are all part of the Fewcott family. Each resident is cared for with dignity and respect. No request is refused. All matters of religion, social and family needs. You can visit your family member at any time of the day and have no issues with supporting the home with the weekend or appointments. The care team have gone above and beyond to make sure my sister is well looked after. They have shown kindness and compassion to her. The team haven't only cared for my sister they have checked on my wellbeing. Could not recommend them enough.
When my best friend was no longer able to look after herself at home her eldest daughter asked me to view care homes with her. I had previous experience with Fewcott as old neighbors were there the year before. I have always found the staff friendly, and caring. My friend was given a first-floor room and now resides in a ground-floor room. This is spacious and sunny, My friend has all the room equipment in the room she needs. She feels safe and secure and I am sure the friendliness and care of the staff will continue.
My Father had only been staying at Fewcott House for a few days before he passed away last night. The care he received during his short stay was fantastic. He was treated with dignity and compassion. As family members, the support we received was also amazing. Thank you all.
Mum was only with them for a few days but their levels of care, experience and service are exemplary. I would definitely recommend this nursing home for loved ones. Just sorry Mum didn't have a chance to benefit from their care for longer.
My wife has suffered with dementia since 1995. Twenty-three years later, in May 2018, she became a resident at Fewcott House Nursing Home. This was a particularly anxious time for my daughters and myself, but we need not have worried, for she has has been looked after wonderfully well by the director and staff ever since. I have little doubt that my wife did deteriorate mentally when we were prevented from seeing her during lockdown, but of course that was not the fault of the home. The heating system is the only draw back, as it can only be moderated by turning it off.
My husband suffers from Alzheimer's disease and has been a resident for twenty-two months. During this time, his condition has rapidly deteriorated and he can no longer walk, feed himself, or communicate his needs. Throughout his stay, he has been treated with nothing but dignity, kindness and understanding by all the staff. I feel so grateful that I found a home where he receives such wonderful care.
Fewcott House Nursing Home is absolutely amazing. The staff are so caring, loving, funny, understanding but very professional. The atmosphere is very homely and every member of staff cares so well for my mum but they also show so much care towards the family. They really go above and beyond in every way possible. Thank you for making my mum so happy and settled.
Excellent care given to my husband. His care is tailored to suit his needs. I receive any details of his well being and health. I can visit at any time in normal circumstances (not during covid19) and was made very welcome. The staff are like family to me and I enjoy my visits to my husband.
The team is very friendly and my relative is very comfortable (both physically and psychologically) in Fewcott House. He enjoys the food, and likes his interactions with the team. When provided, he loves the activities and is proud of his contributions. He does not interact with other residents, and does not use the outdoor facilities which is a shame. The communication from the staff to us is good and they do not hesitate to contact us when they have any concerns about his health or medical treatment. The home has been impressive during the COVID lockdown period.
Fewcott House is able to meet all of my relative's needs and provides a good service. Thus far due to hard work and diligence, they have been covid-19 clear. Excellent standard of care.
Well run. Caring staff. Accommodation clean also secure.
My dad is very settled and happy here in Fewcott. He is really doing well and has improved in every way. Thanks for all your staff's help in every way.
Very good treatment and care. Food is excellent. Staff helpful.
I found the home to be very nice. The grounds are lovely in the Spring and Summer with lots of wildlife. The home itself is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Meals are good and they are happy to change the menu if they can. The decoration of the home is very good with various different themes.
The staff and management are always friendly and available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your relative, and also any issues or concerns are dealt with dignity and care. It is a beautiful home, with a very well tended large garden in a very nice area of Oxfordshire.
