View Full Details of Barchester Glebefields Care HomeAlthough Dad only got to spend 7 weeks in Glebefields we experienced the full breadth of care. From the very first time we stepped foot into the home we received the very best care. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. From the manage to the kitchen staff we were respected, treated with kindness and compassion. Dad had a five star experience, I am sorry he never got to live longer to enjoy it. I feel like I now have a second family - The Glebefields family xx
I would like to thank all the staff for their continuous care and support given to my father and myself. My father was only in the Glebefields Care Home for 7 weeks due to ill health. He was happy with his care and happy that his family could spend as much time with him as possible. We felt it was like our home and we will miss everyone. Thank you all.
I was very happy with the care my aunt received at Barchester Glebefields Care Home. The staff were always very friendly and helpful when we visited. Residents we provided with a wide variety of activities to enjoy and participate in. I was impressed with the inside of the building being bright and inviting. All the rooms were immaculate and clean and tidy. It was pleasing to see items belonging to my aunt in her room, which made it more like home which held memories for her. Overall, I cannot fault the home at all.
Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere from the moment you arrive, gardens are lovely at the front of the building. Always greeted with cheerful, friendly staff. Nursing and caring staff are amazing. I do think that residents that need moving around in a bed or can only sit in a chair, due to terminal illness, require a ground-floor room where they can view outside or push bed beside an open French door. Ground-floor room should be available with no mobility.
I am really grateful to Barchester Glebefields Care Home for making my life a lot less stressful. I am a lot more relaxed knowing that Mum is being taken care of so well and she is much happier than she was alone at home. Thanks.
I would recommend this home, a place to be.
A beautiful country home. Clean and comfortable home for people with needs. I would recommend this home to anyone.
My mum has been here for 3 weeks and has been very happy here. She has enjoyed the company, activities etc. They staff have been outstanding. The food was excellent with lots of choice all in all a great experience.
My mother has stayed at Barchester Glebefields Care Home on several occasions, ranging from one week up to three weeks. Having looked, in-depth, at many care homes, it is obvious that those within the Barchester groups stand out from the rest. I know I have my mother's full support in completing this review and I know there is nowhere she would rather be when taking a respite break. In her own words, Glebefields is a home-from-home. My mother is now 98 and requires the level of support, kindness and consideration afforded by the management and the staff at Glebefields. I am sure that my mother will return to Glebefields again in the future.
My father has recently received respite care here for two weeks. Both the home and staff have surpassed our expectations - it has to be experienced to be believed! Due to such a positive experience, both of my parents are now looking to become permanent residents here. The overall care, cleanliness and quality of life for the residents is just fantastic! Huge thanks to everyone.
Always made very welcome when we visit. The resident we visit has been in the care home for a few weeks now and has settled in very well. She always says how lovely her room is, she enjoys the food and the staff are very caring. Having lived on her own for many years, she is enjoying the company of other residents and joining in with many of the activities and outings.
On our first visit, we were greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome cup of coffee. The staff were extremely helpful and showed us around and explained the care that would be provided. The residents were all very chatty and appeared to be enjoying themselves with various activities. We knew that this care home would be ideal for our neighbour and felt confident that we had made the correct choice for her.
The staff is treating my Mother-in-law very well, they attend to all their resident's needs very quickly. They are very helpful. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. Nice quiet location, all around a very pleasant experience.
I was impressed with this facility, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always available. The facility itself was well-maintained and very clean.
My husband and I visited Barchester Glebefields Care Home in Drayton today. Very impressed. A smart, young man welcomed us in. A lovely, cheerful place. Our friend seemed happy and replaced in her colourful room.
First visit to Barchester Glebefields Care Home and very impressed with the overall view of the facilities and the resident that my wife and I went to see was very happy with all aspects, re. facilities, food and staff.
Enjoyable stay, very good. Such a wonderful team took it all well, enjoyable. Food great, dining enjoyable. I would come again and pleased with everything.
From arriving at Barchester Glebefields Care Home I was treated extremely well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. So glad I chose Glebefields.
Very well run, very good care. Made us feel confident. The nurses were very helpful, they explained everything to us. The whole place is very clean and modern. My friend was well looked after, he was only in the home for a short while before he passed away. It was reassuring that his last days were comfortable. They also let us take the dog in to see him which was very nice.
A very caring home. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped and modern. We were never ‘in the way’ and encouraged to do whatever we thought would help. Despite only being in Glebefields for a few weeks before sadly passing away it is reassuring to know his time was as comfortable and peaceful as it could have been.
