My wife has been in this care home for over 4yrs. The accomodation is first class alway very clean and, tidy The care home staff provide a totally first class reponse to alway to their residents. Fully recomending

The staff at Barchester Ashford House Care Home are fantastic and offer support to the wider family, not just our dad. We are very grateful for the care given and it gives us peace of mind knowing he is being taken care of.

I visited Barchester Ashford House Care Home to see my friend's sister, now living in your care home. It was the family day, my first visit. I was so impressed with the effort all the staff made to ensure a happy and carefree day for the patients and the families. I was also delighted at the one-to-one relationship with those living in the home and their carers. They were polite, respectful and very caring.

Came to see my friend and was delighted to find her happy and enjoying life at Barchester Ashford House Care Home after a bad start. I have never seen such cheerful and happy staff and the care appears to be excellent!

My father has been a resident at Barchester Ashford House Care Home for over one month now and I wish to express just how happy I am with the care he is receiving. The staff are tireless in their efforts to ensure my father's comfort and treat him as they would a family member rather than simply a client. I couldn't be more satisfied.

The same reason I chose this care home - it feels clean and fresh when you walk in and the staff are caring and friendly. They also have plenty of interactions with my Mum which helps to stimulate her.

I live abroad and I visited Mum in March on a visit to UK. I phone Mum nearly every day and it is rare not to find her in good spirits. The carers and staff are doing a top job and I am very happy my mum is in such a well-run establishment.

From the reception on arriving for the time, a warm, professional greeting. The room my sister is in is bright and cheerful. The staff are all very welcoming and appear to be happy in their workplace.

Mum is doing well having recovered from cellulitis and a urinary infection not long ago. The carers and staff are doing a very good job of looking after her. The nurses also keep me up to date by phone, which is very helpful. It has been a difficult time for Mum, but the work and care of the staff in the home have been first-class.

Recently the home care staff helped my husband and myself when he was taken to hospital, just for a few hours. They were so supportive. The carers are just that caring, not only for the residents but also for their families. The nursing staff are always available to help and answer any queros that I have had. My husband seems settled, and importantly, happy. The management isn't always visible.

My brother and I arrived to go through our mother's care plan. We were welcomed as always by happy and lovely staff. We were offered tea/coffee and cakes as always and advised to always help ourselves. The care plan was very accurate and detailed which was excellent! We all agreed Mum has settled very well. We couldn't be happier that Mum is in great care at Ashford House. Thank you!

You have been so good to us, and to our aunt, our stay was not a long period but will remain with us forever. The staff were friendly and very kind. The last hours with our aunt were so memorable because the night staff did all they could to make it easier. We thank you so much.

Staff are very friendly and caring. The home is spotless. Meals are exceptional. Communication with relatives is positive. Care is personalised to enhance residents' experience. No complaints or concerns at all.

I am very happy with the care my mum receives at Ashford House. She is very happy and the carers and all staff are brilliant. There is plenty of different entertainment going on; fetes, animals visiting and trips out in the minibus. There's a small shop/shed in the garden where all toiletries, cards etc. are free for residents. Would definitely recommend this place 100%.

As a family, we have always been very pleased with the care that Dad is given at Ashford House. He is always kept clean and comfortable and is well cared for. He has a lovely room, which is always clean and tidy and his needs are met.

Very impressed with the total presentation of the care home and facilities. Staff are helpful and attentive. The care home efforts of Saturday 1st July were excellent, entertainment and food very impressive.
