View Full Details of Cedar Court Care HomeHaving been a resident 6 months ago for respite care we approached Cedar Court to provide more permanent care following a swift deterioration in my Mother's health. The management team acted quickly and positively to provide an assessment of my home and then provide suitable accommodation and care that same afternoon. The nursing and care staff have been exemplary, showing kindness, and consideration and are always swift to respond to my Mum's needs. The management and admin staff have been brilliant in their assessment and reassessment of Mum's needs, moving her to the appropriate room as it became available. We are always grateful with a smile. My experience so far is very good.
Couldn't have hoped for better care for our mother.
My father has been in residence since January 2024 and he has settled in well and joins in with some of the activities. The care given and staff members are all lovely and say 'hello' when you pass them. There is a good feeling around the home and he enjoys the food. They are pleasant to deal with on any queries we might have.
My dad arrived at Cedar Court Care Home after a long hospital stay. Immediately, he was welcomed and cared for. My mother and I both felt confident he was in good hands. Over the last few weeks nothing has been too much trouble for the staff. They are always one step ahead with any queries we may have. Dad is happy and relaxed. As a family, we are so pleased we chose Cedar Court for dad's final few months. Thank you to all staff.
Cedar Court gave my Mother the perfect, peaceful, and beautiful location for her last day on earth. The formalities of receiving her from the hospital were smooth despite the weekend admittance. The staff treated us as if we were royalty. The sun shone through the open French windows and the family was able to relax after a harrowing week in the hospital. Mummy held my father's hand all day sitting next to him on the sofa as she passed gracefully in my arms that night.
My wife has been a resident in the Nursing section at Cedar Court Care Home. She has received constantly effective support and is happy in the home. Her health has improved significantly through their care. The staff are friendly and understanding. The home and gardens are pleasant and the entertainment provided is enjoyable and inclusive. Thanks to all at Cedar Court for their care and support.
My wife has been at Cedar Court for almost one year now. She is well-settled and content. The staff have been brilliant in involving her in activities and provided wonderful care. It has a happy, welcoming atmosphere for regular visitors like myself. Thank you.
Cedar Court provided palliative care for my uncle, during an extremely emotional and difficult time for our family. Cedar Court could not have been more thoughtful, caring and supportive to my uncle and our family as a whole. I could not thank them enough.
My Mother has been at Cedar Court for 10 months. I have been touched by the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. My Mother could not be in a better home.
My Dad has just passed having spent 8 months at Cedar Court, Cranleigh. He had Dementia and eventually died from that condition. The care he received from the Staff at Cedar Court was kind, patient, and carried out with smiles. There felt like a genuine affection for my Dad and the other fellow sufferers, by the Staff. I can’t name the individual, but one person, in particular, was very kind to my Dad during his stay and kind to me at the end and throughout; I can only thank her from the bottom of my heart.
Following a recent operation and my husband's passing, I decided to have two weeks of respite care in Alexandra Wing of Cedar Court Care Home. I have nothing but praise for the care and attention I am receiving. It is proving to be just the rest I was so badly needing, and I can only thank all the staff for the care I am receiving.
Overall, we are very pleased with Cedar Court Care Home. The staff are all lovely and caring, and the staff and management team are all excellent. My mum is very happy here, and we would recommend anyone else to come here.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care my husband received at Cedar Court during the last year of his life. He was treated with dignity and respect at all times by all members of staff and all his needs were anticipated and met with kindness and gentleness. My family and I were always made to feel welcome and cared for when we were there.
I cannot praise the service supplied by the team at Cedar Court enough. This was an unexpected stay with me calling at 9 am on a Monday morning enquiring about spaces. The whole team moved swiftly to admit Mum the same day. She started with nursing care before transferring to residential. All the staff, whether front of house, admin, nursing, care or cleaning always smiled and were super helpful. Thank you all.
I stayed at Cedar Court Care Home after being a patient in hospital for two months where I had lost two stone, immobile and quite depressed. I received a very warm welcome from the management and staff who had even hung a canvas of my grandchildren on the wall to make me feel at home! My recovery started immediately. My care was superb during my six-week stay! All the staff were extremely kind and supportive. At first, I needed quite a lot of nursing care but I was always treated with respect and dignity. I soon gained the confidence to become more mobile and independent again whilst being encouraged and supported by the staff. My relatives and friends were made to feel very welcomed whilst visiting. We were able to sit in the reception area or in the garden which was very relaxing, having been confined to a hospital room! Needless to say, I soon began to gain weight by eating home-cooked meals three times a day and snacks and drinks were provided throughout the day. Very grateful. Great place!
My stay at Cedar Court Care Home was a new experience which proved to be enjoyable and fun with kind and helpful staff, great activities, lovely outdoor space for walking and getting fresh air in a garden with colourful plants to brighten one's day. The food was varied and could be ordered according to one's choice and the delivery of hot drinks to my room was much appreciated. The staff were friendly, kind and remembered each person's name. The management team were lovely and supplied me with a TV and a Rotalla walking device. My stay was a positive experience.
The care my mother is receiving is exemplary. She is 93 years old and is suffering with dementia but she is very happy in Cedar Court Care Home. She is well cared for, the food is good and her room well cleaned. Special recommendations please to one nurse, entertainments officer and the receptionist. Five stars.
"Transformation" When Mum first arrived at Cedar Court Care Home, she could hardly walk, struggled with using toilet facilities, rarely ate regularly and hardly spoke to anyone. Now, she can walk short distances unaided, talks to everyone and is putting on weight. All staff are super friendly. What's not to like?
My friend could not have been cared for in a more better way. She was treated with care and dignity. She was always clean and comfortable. Thank you.
After struggling with my dad (91) living at home using 24-hour live-in care, plus external carers morning and night, we made the trepidatious decision to take him to a care home for a two-week trial. Thank goodness we did, it has changed everyone’s lives for the better. My mum (who is 89) and my siblings and I were permanently anxious about Dad which was really impacting on our lives. Dad was very bored, as he was bed/chair bound and we couldn’t get him in a car for outings. Cedar Court Care Home in Cranleigh has changed all that, the staff are wonderful and so friendly. He is doing keep-fit, carpet bowls, quizzes and news catch-ups. He has found some new friends and has proved himself very popular with the lovely staff. As a family, we are delighted with how things have turned out and would highly recommend anyone considering a care home to try the two week trial. Needless to say, Dad is still there!
