View Full Details of Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential HomeI cannot praise the staff at Coxhill Manor too highly. Many thanks to ALL of them. No rating for Activities. Not their fault, my husband is unfortunately not interested.
I've been visiting my friend regularly for nearly 3 years at Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home and I can honestly say it's the nicest home I've been to - always welcoming and friendly staff and plenty of activities and entertainment for the residents. The residents always look well cared for and enjoy many birthday celebrations with a lovely cake made by the chef.
My mother went to stay at Coxhill Manor in May 2023. Since then she has been wonderfully cared for and her overall physical condition has improved. The medical care is outstanding, the facilities are always spotlessly clean, the schedule of activities is always interesting, the food is always appetizing and healthy and the staff are always cheerful and engaging. Everyone has been continuously helpful, supportive and caring throughout her time there.
I came to the United Kingdom from Australia to arrange my aunt's move into a nursing home. The help and support we have received from staff has been exceptional. My aunt's care has been excellent and she has settled in very quickly. I am so thankful that on my return to Australia, I do so with peace of mind knowing she is in good hands.
My mother has been living at Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home since December 2022, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care she receives there. The staff are superb. In fact I think they are amongst the kindest and most caring people that I have even met! She is very well looked after!
Mum has been here two weeks, and everything and everyone has been superb. Covhill Manor couldn't have done more to make Mum feel welcome. I looked at another care home a while ago and just wanted to talk out and carry at the thought of Mum being there. Coxhill Manir has completely changed my perception of care homes and others should watch and learn. Many thanks to all for the reassurance you have given us as a family.
Coxhill Manor is an excellent Nursing Home with a very friendly and relaxed manner displayed by all the staff. There is a strong ethos of care and high standards displayed by the staff including not only the nursing and caring members but also the activities and catering folk. There is a comprehensive range of activities provided to the residents and no one is forced to attend unless they wish to. The ambiance of Coxhill Manor is one of a home rather than an 'institution'. All rooms have character and the grounds and gardens are beautiful. The management is invested and caring.
It is a beautiful place. My Godmother is very happy here. The staff are so friendly, warm and caring.
The home is excellent, it has personal appeal and is attentive. My Mother-in-law has come on leaps and bounds, we couldn't be happier.
I live in South Africa so am immensely grateful to have such wonderful care for my Mother. She always looks well cared for, and the staff are incredibly kind and informative on all aspects of her care.
A truly great respite care period (13 days).
My aunt has been very happy - very well cared for by the staff. The nurses and carers are very empathic and have such a caring manner. Her 6 months here have been very enjoyable for her and consequently me.
What a great place for your loved ones. The home is set in a beautiful large garden, and as an old Manor house, all the rooms in the old section are all different, which adds great character and options to space and size. There is always something going on AM and PM. The staff are always so helpful and friendly and it's a nice relaxing place to go to visit. My mum also comments on how well she is looked after and feels at home, she enjoys the meals even though she is on a special diet. I would recommend it to anyone.
We had a reenactment of my sister-in-law's wedding at the nursing home. My wife would have not been able to attend the marriage in Cardiff. The staff worked really hard and a special mention to the activities coordinators. This was her first marriage, aged 59, and she was our bridesmaid forty-six years ago today.
My mother has been extremely well looked after since moving to Coxhill in January 2023. The environment is warm and welcoming, with full use of both the inside and outside space. The range of activities on offer is exceptional and they are all age and interest appropriate. I am always notified quickly in the event of Mum having a fall or a change of medication. The staff are always helpful and professional and several go above and beyond in their care for Mum. I would have no hesitation recommending Coxhill to anyone considering residential nursing care.
Moving my mother into care after living in her beautiful cottage for 46 years was a daunting prospect. I needn't have worried so much, as she absolutely loved and thrived in Coxhill Manor. She even said I should have moved her there years ago. My mother got her life back! Excellent in all aspects.
During my mother's 10 years at Coxhill Manor she has been treated as an individual with care, compassion and dignity. I cannot speak too highly of every member of staff there.
We are really pleased with my parent's experience in the home. Lots of activities to keep their minds active. The staff all sem to welcome visitors which is lovely. Such a homely feeling at the home. The staff seem to be as accommodating with the resident's requests as they possibly can be, which I'm sure is not always easy with many differing needs. Big thank you to all members of staff.
Caring homes. Then a care home afforded me the luxury of having my wife's last days spent here at Coxhill Manor, giving her 24/7 care. They just went above and beyond to make her last days as comfortable and with the utmost compassion. Then for the celebration of her on the 3rd of June, the same.
My mother has been at Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home for eight years and has received good care throughout. The staff seem kind and patient in their dealings with her in these difficult times.
