My mother entered Jubilee House in December in palliative care. The staff were fantastic. From the moment the manager came to assess mum, through admission and settling in, nothing was too much trouble. She is now in good hands, safe, well fed and her medication well organised. As we approach end of life, they have again been superb, with sensitive and caring support both for mum and the family. Just a wonderful place for the elderly.
Very good care, always kept up to day with any medical care, clean and cheerful environment and team.
I couldn't say thank you enough to all the staff at Jubilee House for the care of my grandmother through her last years with dementia. Everyone was always so lovely, prioritizing her every need and ensuring she was comfortable, especially in her final months when she lost mobility. It provided me and my family so much comfort knowing she was comfortable and surrounded by people in a similar situation, being looked after by people who knew how to best take care of her. Thank you so so much Jubilee House, your kindness and care will not be forgotten for how much support you provided both my nan but also all of our family throughout her time at Jubilee House.
Jubilee House was home to Mum for almost 3 years and it has been wonderful. All staff, each and everyone has been amazing, the care, dedication, compassion, communication, and genuine kindness have been second to none. I could not have asked for a more perfect home for my dear mum. Jubilee House in my eyes is a wonderful care home where all staff do their best, all of the time with beautiful smiles on their faces. Well done Jubilee House and thank you so much!
I am always kept updated with anything affecting my sister or her health, I am welcomed by staff and they are approachable and knowledgeable with regard to my sister's needs. It is comforting to know that she is looked after by the staff at Jubilee House, she is always treated like an individual, and the staff have always shown respect for my sister and take a genuine interest in what makes her happy. On arrival, I can always have access to see my sister no matter what the time of day, I don't have to make an appointment, this flexibility Is hugely important to me given my circumstances and the fact that I can just turn up also tells me that this is a home that is not covering anything up, I can only come to the conclusion that this is an extremely well-run care home and I would have no issues recommending it to friends or family.
Mum has been a resident of Jubilee House for 18 months. The standard of nursing care is excellent and the carers are just that - they care. Brilliantly. The staff are very professional, attentive to her, and inclusive of me and my sister in her care. We are confident that she is well looked after when we are not there, which is so important. I would not hesitate to recommend Jubilee House to anyone facing the hard and often confusing decision of choosing a care home. I have sung its praises many times.
We are very happy with the care at Jubilee House. The team is amazing, always smiling and welcoming our visits any time of the day. They treat all the residents with care and dignity and meet their individual needs. There is very little staff turn over so the care is of a consistently high standard. The communication is great, with frequent updates. The activities program is lovely and varied. The home is always lovely and clean and well looked after. We feel very happy with all aspects.
My mum has been in Jubilee House since June 2023 and has always been treated with respect and care. The staff are totally dedicated to all the residents, colleagues, and visitors, addressing us always by name. The staff keep me well informed of her medical care and are always available to talk over any concerns I may have. The staff over the months have tried to get Mum involved in activities when she would allow and stayed calm with understanding when Mum has not been the easiest always complementing her, even when fighting like as I quote like a tiger. It's always clean tidy and airy and pleasant to visit. A wonderful place in my eyes.
Our Mum has been at Jubilee House since last January 2024. We are super happy with the quality of her care and with all our communications and interactions with the team. All staff at Jubilee House are: *Personable and caring about what they do and the service they provide. *Consistently professional. *Consistently responsive. *Knowledgeable about dementia, *Sensitive, and emotionally intelligent. *Helpful. This is a provider of exceptional customer experience and service.
My Sister Serena has been a resident at Jubilee House for 2 and a half years. Throughout this time whilst visiting her, I have witnessed the staff and carers showing her incredible love and attention. Having had a career as a nurse myself for many years I am well placed to recognise true and proper care of the infirm and those that need considerable attention and looking after. All the staff and carers at Jubilee House, from the Managers, caterers, and domestics are amazing in all that they do, and I can't thank them enough. We are notified immediately if there is any concern over Serena's health and well-being and kept up-to-date of any changes in her medication and general health. In my opinion, Jubilee House should be recognised for the excellence of their care and ability, as their work and conduct are ultra-exemplary, and I wouldn't want my sister to be cared for anywhere else.
My dad was at Jubilee House for almost 3 years and my sisters, brother and I were very happy with the great care he was given. The staff were always so kind to him and we felt that he was treated with genuine affection. The staff really seemed to get his character and would share a joke with him or, in the case of the activities staff, whatever he could manage on the day, even if it was just a bit of quiet time with him, particularly after the loss of my mum. We were always reassured by the fact that there seems to be a low staff turnover and many of the nurses and care assistants that were there when he entered the home are still there nearly 3 years later. That's a testament to a well-run home with a good, caring team.
My father was a resident at Jubilee House for just over a year. He died there peacefully recently. He was very happy and relaxed at the home. He received excellent care from all of the staff. The atmosphere at Jubilee House is so positive and supportive and he felt he was at home. The focus on good nutrition made a big difference in his overall health. Whenever we visited we were always made very welcome. Staff became part of our family. Obviously, I will miss my dad, but I will also miss all the great staff.
Mum moved into Jubilee House from the hospital. She has a lovely welcome and the nursing staff were amazing. Sadly it became apparent she would quickly be on end-of-life care but she was kept comfortable by the amazing staff.
Jubilee House was home to Mum for 2 years and 8 months. Mum settled in soon after arriving thanks to the attentive and caring nurses, carers and staff. We knew Mum was happy and content as when we visited she was always smiling and laughing. It was such a comfort to us knowing Mum was being cared for to such a high standard. Without a doubt we made the right decision to move Mum into Jubilee House, who have a very good understanding of dementia. There are various activities every day which Mum joined in as and when she wanted to. The food is also excellent, cooked by very talented chefs.
My father has been a resident of Jubilee House for almost three months. He moved from another care home to be nearer to me. He has settled in very well and the staff have been very welcoming to him, making the transition easy. He is very settled and is enjoying all the help and assistance he gets, especially with showering and shaving. He always looks well-presented and clean. He enjoys the food, all made by the chefs which looks very tasty. All residents have a choice of food at mealtimes with drinks. Various activities go on in the home and residents can join in, as they wish. My father watched some cake-making recently and whilst he didn’t want to participate, he enjoyed eating the finished cakes! My father's room is cosy and kept spotless, as is the whole home. My impression is that it is a very well-run home. The manager and senior staff hold regular meetings with relatives. Care staff are friendly, hardworking and have the interests of their residents at heart.
It's very reassuring and comforting to know that my mother-in-law (wheelchair user with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's) is in the care of the staff at Jubilee House: The staff are enormously caring, very responsive to any request and seem to care as much for the residents family as the residents themselves. We are hugely grateful to the manager and her teams for offering us this reassurance. We don't underestimate the challenges of running a Care Home, with recruitment, budgetary and operational stresses everywhere. Last year my mother-in-law was home alone most of the time, watching tv. She was lonely and exhausted, despite having carers 3 times a day. Now she's invited to participate in activities every day (except when she's not in the mood, and they respect her wishes about this too), with lovely staff who really go out of their way to include everyone and make lives worth living. The food is marvellous, every day. We couldn't be more pleased.
My sister has severe learning difficulties - having caught pneumonia and been hospitalised at the start of 2022, her mobility suffered considerably and her care needs increased which meant she was no longer able to remain in her supported living environment. All parties involved from the NHS to the local authorities we very helpful and proactive in finding a solution for her new needs. They settled on Jubilee House, where she has been a resident since March 2022. Whilst Jubilee House is primarily a dementia home they have met her learning difficulty needs remarkably well. I have confidence that she is in the right place and well looked after. The staff always seem to be very caring towards my sister and the management team are very dedicated and make sure that we are always kept up to date with news and events. A big thank you to all at Jubilee House your support is much appreciated.
My mum has been treated with respect and care during her time in the home. She is encouraged to participate in a wide variety of activities as much as she can. The food is of excellent quality and staff make sure my mum is eating properly. Staff are always very friendly and courteous when any of my family visit and it is great that we can visit whenever we are able. The nursing staff regularly contact me to update me on any changes to mum's circumstances and are always happy to answer any questions which may arise.
My sister-in-law was a resident at Jubilee House for a year and a half and I can't praise them enough. All the staff were so kind and caring they went out of their way to make her feel safe and comfortable we can't thank them enough.
My mum was very happy and settled for the last 18 months of her life in Jubilee House. The staff are amazing - friendly, caring and patient. They kept me fully informed of any issues relating to Mum with regular updates on her care package, which was especially helpful during Covid times when I was unable to visit. Jubilee House is warm and welcoming, and I was quickly made to feel at home when visiting. There were often activities going on which Mum joined in sometimes, and there were events like Royal Ascot or the Queen's Jubilee when they had tea parties/dressed up. The staff really made an effort to get to know the residents personally, so I felt Mum was part of a big family. I felt the needs of the residents were well catered for and made to feel safe and happy. They were especially amazing on the day she passed away, giving myself and my aunt the time to be with her without intruding and were very respectful. Overall, I was very happy with Jubilee House.
