We are so grateful to have found Leighton House; the care, respect and dignity they provide is beyond anything I have experienced before. Each and every member of staff looks after the residents as if they were their own family. Dad's needs are extremely complex, but the whole team have worked tirelessly to ensure they are met. We couldn't have found a better place for my father, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Leighton House was excellent in every respect in looking after my mother. If we had to choose again we would choose Leighton House.

Leighton House is a wonderful care facility for my dad. The staff are so kind, friendly and generally wonderful people. Dad is very well looked after. I can't speak highly enough of Leighton House.

My dad is in the best place possible for his needs. The staff are always courteous, cheerful and respectful. They treat him with care and dignity. He is always dressed well and his extra needs are met with compassion. My family are grateful for the update on Dad's well-being both via the app and verbally. Dad is encouraged to join in activities that are appropriate and he enjoys sitting in the garden. Leighton House is ideal for dad and we are very grateful to have found it.

Mum is very happy at Leighton House, she is well cared for and all her needs are met. She is treated with dignity and encouraged to have as much independence as possible, giving her as much privacy as possible while delivering her care. It is all the staff that make the difference and as far as I can see all the residents receive the same care and respect. The result is a lovely atmosphere, a happy and caring home. I never leave a visit to Leighton House with any worry that Mum is not in the best place for her.

My aunt is extremely happy here. The care is exceptional. All the staff are so kind and caring and treat her like family. The home is kept spotlessly clean and always smells nice. She cannot leave her room but the staff include her in any activities possible.

My mother was very vulnerable, she was blind and schizophrenic. She was in the care of Leighton House for almost six years and in that time she has received outstanding service from both the staff and the management at the home. One telling strength of the home is its ability to retain the same wonderful staff over the long term, many of whom are the same people who greeted my mother on her arrival six years ago. This results in care staff who really understand the best routes to well-being and happiness.

My sister is very vulnerable. She has severe learning and physical disabilities, dementia, is blind and deaf. She has been in the care of Leighton House for two years now and in all that time has been bedbound, all care taking place while she lies in a supine position. She is non-cooperative for personal care and is difficult to feed, in fact she has refused food for the last year and is surviving on nutrional drinks which take a lot of time and patience to administer by staff, but in all this time their care has been exemplary. She knows who they are and can name them (not necessarily the correct name, but the name she has assigned to them), and is clearly comfortable with them. I have seen her treated with the utmost respect and affection and despite her vulnerability, I have peace of mind knowing she is in a place of safety which is invaluable to me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Leighton House for a loved one with high dependency.

My husband was a resident for the last year of his life. We can't thank the staff enough for their support and dedication to his care. The home is calm, clean and efficient and summer and Christmas parties entertain residents and visitors during the year when cakes and patisserie are always delicious. The staff were constantly energetic and enthusiastic in the day-to-day running of the home and always made us feel welcome with a strong sense of cooperation and friendship amongst the team. During my husband's last few days in palliative care, the nursing was attentive, reassuring and above all compassionate. Thank you.

My Father was at Leighton House Nursing Home from 1st August 2022 until his passing in March 2023. My Mother and Sister chose Leighton House, and once I had visited I could not believe how lucky we were to find such an excellent Nursing Home so close to where we all live. The home provided my Father with excellent care. The staff are very caring, attentive and respectful and the management of the home were always very friendly, kind and welcoming. This really is a very well run Nursing Home with excellent facilities and most importantly dedicated staff. It was a very difficult decision, for us as a family, to put our dear Father into a Nursing Home but in the end we could not look after him at home. I would highly recommend Leighton House Nursing Home to anyone as they are truly exceptional. I know my Father was in the best possible place. Thank you to all the staff at Leighton House Nursing Home who looked after my Father so well and made his time at the home very comfortable.

My aunt has been constantly happy since living at Leighton House Private Nursing Home. All staff are wonderful, kind, caring and considerate. The rooms are kept clean to a very high standard. Staff are always available if we need to discuss any needs for the resident. The patience shown to my aunt has been amazing. It is the best and friendliest nursing/care home she has been in.

We were so anxious and sad when we had to make the decision to move my mum into care. It turned out it was the best decision ever when we found this amazing home It wasn't the first home we looked at but was the last as the initial visit made me realise the place was special. The staff cannot be praised enough. My mum couldn't have been happier and neither could we.

My dad has been in Leighton House for just two weeks; however, from the outset, as a family, we have been made to feel extremely welcome. Dad has settled in well and is really enjoying the activities (especially singing). We all feel very confident that he is being well cared for by all the staff at Leighton House. Each time we visit, either kist my mum or with other family members, we are able to spend quality time with my dad.

My father resided in Leighton House from January to June 2022. He was settled, happy and relaxed in his new surroundings. All the staff from A-Z are friendly, polite, hospitable and very accommodating to my father's daily needs. I was always greeted with a smile and warm welcome when I visited. He was encouraged to regularly interact with fellow residents/staff and join in activities as best as he was able to ensure he kept his mind socially active. The level of care provided was outstanding. No request was too much for the genuinely caring staff. Most importantly, Leighton House provided a positive environment for my father, prioritising his safety, respect, dignity and privacy at all times.

My father has advanced Alzheimer's and started living at Leighton House one year ago. the staff at Leighton House have been incredible. They are so caring, kind welcoming and create a pleasant and happy atmosphere even when the residents are so very ill. Quality of care is excellent with regular online updates via an app for the family. I highly recommend this care home.

At first, my experience was of great concern. The use of restraints was a major issue. Since March 2021 however, the home has improved beyond measure. Well done.
