View Full Details of The Chaseley TrustChaseley is an excellent care home for people with severe and challenging physical disabilities. We have found a haven of safety, kindness. expertise and true understanding in Chaseley which provides so well for my brother's needs both on a physical and emotional level. Chaseley is like a family, and also very much inclusive of relatives and friends of residents. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who work tirelessly to provide the best possible care. It is a lovely environment for all. The activities on offer and the support team are brilliant.
Our Daughter has resided in The Chaseley Trust for almost 15 years. During this time she has experienced many changes, with Management and staff of All levels. What hasn't changed is the excellent quality of care that she has received. OK. I must admit, we've experienced a number of issues during this time, but these have always been addressed when they have appeared, or as our daughter or us parents, have brought to the attention of management. Staff are recruited from many nationalities, like most healthcare establishments, but their attention and care is always good, which reflects upon how the place operates. There are many organised activities which residents can join in, if able, helped, or just to observe. Often entertainment is arranged, with visiting artists. Much credit going to the Entertainment staff. The building itself is in a position on the seafront with wonderful views which can be seen from the gardens or a sun lounge. Maintained by a great maintenance team !
Chaseley is a wonderful caring Residence for our daughter enabling her to maintain her independence, within the limits of her disability. There is Specialist 24 Hour medical care. An excellent gym also open to non-residents bringing contact with the wider community. There is a full schedule of daily activities including craft making, yoga, singing, art room, lectures, dance, a monthly disco, visiting singers and musicians and contact with animals and pets. Services through contact with the nearby Parish. A restaurant standard communal dining room. All carried out by a team of dedicated carers.
Amazing person-centred care. Fantastic physio department keeping residents mobile or rehabilitation and encouraging further independence. Intuitive and inclusive activities centring around residents' needs and support. Caring staff who really take pride in their work and getting to know the residents independently.
Chaseley organises very varied and diverse activities for residents to enjoy. The staff are very caring and attentive to my brother and warm and friendly. He is always clean and well-presented, not being able to fulfil his own care needs independently. The staff have kindness and patience in abundance, thank you.
Love Chaseley and especially like the location, activities and dedication of staff to their clients. I have visited several times and been made to feel very welcome. Especially like the outside activities for the mobile clients!
A fantastic care home with amazing views and staff who go the extra mile to ensure everything possible is done to make life good for residents. A big shout out to the well-being team who provide so many activities and entertainment. There is so much to join in with, and loads of varied, well thought-out activities. The gym is brilliant - again a dedicated team - and holistic/massage is also excellent. All in all a first-class care home with great values.
Mum is in the most brilliant place. Mum is cared for fantastically, staff keep me updated all the time with her care and if Mum is unwell. Lots of activities put on and visitors are included all the time, it has a feel of family more than a home. Wouldn't wish my mum to be anywhere else but The Chaseley Trust.
The Chaseley Trust is a beautiful care home in a stunning location. The physiotherapy gym is fantastic. The new sensory room is a wonderful space for the residents to enjoy. The activities team are fantastic. They go above and beyond to include residents and make sure that there is something on offer for everyone. It is a fabulous community supporting and caring for the most vulnerable members of our town.
My partner has been at The Chaseley Trust for a number of years and is well cared for. The home has a friendly, welcoming feel and provides excellent services to enhance both physical and emotional well-being. What, for me, would turn it from a good to an excellent care home would be an improvement in communication both between the home and the family and between the different departments in the care home.
Outstanding facilities and staff, and a lovely place to visit. Excellent program of activities. Beautiful views for residents. Great standard of care. Wonderful atmosphere. A happy place of safety and comfort for all.
It was a difficult decision finding a residential home for our 47-year-old daughter after many years of her living in her own bungalow with a personal care team. She has now been at The Chaseley Trust for a month now and she is so happy there. The level of care and nursing is brilliant but that's not all, the atmosphere is one of real love and that's the most important thing. Our daughter is always busy doing activities and being with staff and residents. All the staff have worked hard to assist her settle in. Not just the care staff and nurses but the administration too have been marvellous in helping us and our daughter to embark on the next phase of her life. We are both relieved and delighted that we made the decision to send her to The Chaseley Trust and feel confident that she has a long and satisfying life ahead of her.
The Chaseley Trus does a wonderful job in caring for its residents with top quality professional standards and a spirit of joy and happiness. The attention to providing activities for residents through outstanding staff is highly commendable. Their communication with and reception of families and other visitors is really excellent.
We moved our mother to The Chaseley Trust so we could be nearer to her as we know our time with her is limited. We also wanted her to be somewhere lively so she could have more interaction. Mum has been at Chaseley since the end of September and the difference is really noticeable. Firstly, she receives a really really high standard of care and the care team are dedicated, supportive and very nurturing with her. Secondly, to watch the activities team weave their magic with the residents is truly inspiring - they are amazing. It is very humbling to watch them in action. We, as a family feel our mum is in the best place to finish out her last years. Thank you all.
As usual, all visits to my son were subject to usual government guidelines to ensure a safe environment for carers and residents. All staff we encountered were helpful and fully aware of both our and our son's needs. I never cease to be overwhelmingly in awe of the dedication and professionalism of the staff we meet. My wife, daughter and I are always eternally grateful for the standard of care that my son receives. It certainly helps us to cope with his situation to know he is amongst friends.
Chaseley's management and staff demonstrate everything one wants from a care home. They are kind, hardworking, thoughtful and very knowledgeable about the needs of the residents who are highly disabled. Residents are safe there and cared for. Every effort is made to provide the residents with interesting things to do and as much entertainment as possible. Covid has put a strain on all care homes but Chaseley has been outstanding in managing an extremely difficult situation.
What can I say, My friend went into Chaseley with no confidence, low self-worth and esteem and just not coping with life. This month she has gone home after her rehab, a new woman. Thank you to the management and staff team at Chaseley for their kindness, their care and for being simply incredible. Thank you for giving back lives, when it matters the most.
Seeing all the preparation they have been doing for Christmas, by the pictures they have posted on their website and by hearing about what upcoming activities they have, from visiting my friend and seeing how happy my friend is, makes me feel so happy that they are residing at Chaseley. Throughout the pandemic, all staff have been doing their hardest and still making time to make things special for their residents, even though we are not allowed into the actual building, they ensure we can still visit is the visiting room. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Chaseley and they are always on hand, should any help or advice be required. The new CEO is always smiling and from what we see on the website, interacts extremely well with the residents, even having a sing along with them! My advice to anyone looking for a home for a loved one is to make sure you look at Chaseley.
Before my friend reached 'The Chaseley Trust', she was in a very distressed state. It was heart-wrenching to see someone I cared for, and someone who loved and cared for so many others during her too short a life, having to endure so much discomfort. Thankfully, with the help of the palliative care team from the hospice, she was placed under the care of the dedicated team of nurses and support staff at The Chaseley. Very quickly, her frustration dissipated, her pain was managed, the simple alternative treatments she longed for were willingly given, and for the first time, in a very long time, my friend rested calmly. Thank you, Chaseley.
My friend is currently a resident at Chaseley, and whilst we haven't been able to visit them inside the building for nearly a year, we were able to do some garden visits in the summer (in between lockdowns), and we regularly catch up on Facetime. The team at Chaseley have done an amazing job looking after the residents throughout the whole Covid pandemic and have done their best to keep everyone safe and happy. They are always friendly and willing to assist with any visits or Facetimes when needed. The activities team have been brilliant at ensuring everyone is kept busy and entertained, we know they had singers in the garden over the summer, and they even organised Christmas Zoom bingo for residents and their families. The care team are also amazing, and probably don't get the recognition they deserve, but when we can visit once more, my family will be sure to tell them. We are all grateful for the care, the support and the fun that Chaseley give our friend.
