View Full Details of Hazelmere Nursing HomeWe went to view the home to place my bother in as a result of continuing health care. From the first meeting to present, we have been astounded by the compassion and care our brother has received, they are very caring and understanding, we have certainly made the right choice for our brothers well being and care. We can not thank them enough for everything they do for him.
Would highly recommend this nursing home. The service is outstanding, the staff are so caring and professional.
My mother has been a resident since May 2024, every member of the staff have treated her with the utmost kindness and care. The home has a friendly, homely atmosphere which is exactly what I wanted for Mum. I would recommend the home to everyone.
Excellent service and extremely caring members of staff. The care provided to my friend was 1st class. My friend was a resident at Hazelmere for a number of years and enjoyed the company and support from all of the staff.
Very happy with this care home. The management and staff all seemed to care about the residents and were very pleased with how my wife was cared for.
Mum was only at Hazelmere for a few months but what a happy time she had, it has such a warm, friendly atmosphere and all the staff are wonderful, she was made to feel so welcome as were we her family, she was cared for so well and when Mum suddenly passed away they were so compassionate. I would certainly highly recommend Hazelmere. A very big thank you to all the staff who looked after Mum and I wish that she could have spent a longer time with you.
My husband was admitted to Hazelmere for what turned out to be the last week of his life. The staff were wonderful and treated him and the rest of the family with such care and compassion which made a difficult week so much easier. I am only sorry that he didn't get to spend longer in this wonderful nursing home. A big thank you to all the staff who looked after Mum.
My mother came here in October 2022 for the final three months of her life and I couldn't have wished for a better nursing home. I cannot recommend it highly enough - they really do care. All the staff are so welcoming and it really has a homely/family feel to it. Nothing is too much trouble - they really are amazing. The consistency and retention of staff are also a good indication of just how good the home is. The rooms in the new extension are amazing and homely, and the whole home is warm and very clean. Plenty of activities to do for those who want to take part and residents can either eat together in the lounge or in their own rooms if they choose. The food is homemade and of very good quality. I can't thank everyone enough for the time and care they gave to Mum in her short time at Hazelmere Nursing Home. They gave me amazing support and comfort and kept me informed of everything that was happening, along with being able to stay there the night for her final hours. Thank you so much.
My mother was apprehensive of going into respite care, but within 10 minutes there was saying "she loved this place" - Hazelmere! She particularly enjoys the lounge and the company and activities there. A lot of fun, is had by residents, visitors and staff there, she also enjoys the excellent home cooking and the kind and respectful care received.
Fabulous, caring staff, always happy to discuss my sister's care. Decor is not brilliant but the important thing is that they genuinely care about all aspects of my sister's care and well being.
Lovely care home. Very friendly and has a family feel. All staff very helpful and friendly. Area around the home is very nice and not on any main roads. The care home is set in good grounds. The food is good and good quality.

Hazelmere Nursing Home is not only a nursing home, it is in reality a nursing home with first class nursing care.
The home is very warm and welcoming. It feels like a home. I feel like myself and my mother are really listened to. There is a strong cohort of staff that work there and so that creates a feeling of stability.
I can't fault this home, and when I say home that's exactly what it is. In a short space of time myself and family have become a part of the home and feel very much like one big family. So pleased we found this place. Staff are fantastic and are quick to notice if you need a chat, advice or just a cuddle. They are brilliant with my Mum. It's such a relief to know they have Mum's best interests at heart. Nothing is ever too much. I can't praise them enough.
The staff are really caring and do their best for me. Good food and good activities.
I am a friend of one of the residents living at Hazelmere Nursing Home. I normally come in once a week or every two weeks and I can honestly say that the home holds to its high standards. The home always smells and looks clean, the staff are more than willing to help whether that's offering a drink or checking that everything is ok, They are very professional when dealing with the Lateral Flow Test and are overall kind and compassionate. I did not have any issues when visiting and I can tell my friend is being well looked after. A home that is definitely recommended to all of my friends and family. I am able to leave my friend and not feel guilty or worried every time I go. Brilliant home with brilliant staff.
Mum was here for respite care for 2 weeks, she loved the homely atmosphere and staff were very warm and caring. We were very impressed and reassured by the excellent communication with family and flexibility with visits despite extremely thorough Covid precautions. We felt mum was very safe and well cared for here, unfortunately, she needs to move again, which is a shame.
I would like to say they looked after my husband really well and I had a big smile and a big thumbs up, he cannot communicate by speech, the staff were lovely and very pleasant and could not do enough, a special mention to the manager and her staff, thank you.
My husband was lucky to be able to spend the last three weeks of his life at Hazelmere. I cannot fault in any way the care, kindness and dignity shown not only to him but to myself and family. Nothing was too much trouble! A huge thank you to all the staff for all their kindness at a very sad time.
