View Full Details of Heffle CourtThe building is a light and airy purpose built facility. The staff were excellent, caring and respectful to all the residents. My mother had truly excellent palliative care at the end of her two year stay in the home. The big downside for me was financial admin. I was unaware that the direct debit for fees was incorrectly set up by the finance team and I received a substantial bill in the second year to remedy the error. I also continued to receive invoices after my mother had died. All in all quite stressful hassle because the sums involved are substantial.
A very happy and caring home.
Very happy with Heffle Court the staff and managers are superb so friendly and treat you like one big family nothing is ever too much for me to ask them to do always very happy to help and go beyond. Extremely good with visits and brilliant meal time, mum has been here for several years and never had any problems and built up very good friendships with staff.
Cannot fault the team at Heffle Court. The overall care, understanding and professionalism are top-class. We approached them when an emergency placement was required and they dropped everything to accommodate my uncle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home to any of my friends.
My husband has been in care at Heffle Court for a year now. I can say that I am very pleased with his care. He is always clean and presentable. Treated with respect. Any concerns are addressed straight away. The staff are cheerful and friendly, nothing seems to be too much trouble. The food also is very good. I would highly recommend Heffle Court.
Very comfortable, no complaints about this place. The staff are very good, I have lots of friends here.
We came for the Macmillan afternoon tea at Heffle Court and we had a lovely afternoon with a beautiful violinist playing, guess the coffee cups activity which my niece won. It was so good to see the residents engaging with the staff and my mother thoroughly enjoyed herself. The staff all do a wonderful job. Thank you.
Went for a barbecue at the home it was very enjoyable. Well looked after and very caring staff.
My uncle is as happy and as healthy as can be so that makes me happy. The staff are lovely and hard working. New management coming in has made a positive difference.
Took Dad to Heffle Court as we had to move him to a new home. Staff were very helpful and made sure Dad was well looked after. The room was spotless and smelled fresh. We were helped with putting Dad's clothes and possessions away. Can'tsay a bad word. The experience so far is excellent.
Lovely, smiley staff. A warm welcome. Patience with all guests. Lovely food.
My mum was aged 92 when she had to go into Heffle Court. She had always been a very independent lady and found it hard to accept that she needed full-time care. In October 2023 she went into care and at first was very depressed and ready to give up. But the caring support the team gave Mum was exceptional and after a few weeks, she settled and began enjoying being there. She loved the company and, although sometimes she could be very stubborn, the team knew how to win her round. I can’t thank the team enough for the care and support while Mum was there and she had a lovely Christmas as well.
My mother has been a resident at Heffle Court since December 2020. She was admitted during lockdown as she had dementia and I was unable to look after her. The staff, both carers and admin, made the transition as stress free as possible. We were unable to visit the home beforehand or view her room but were not disappointed when we were able to gain entry some months later. My mother is well looked after and we are always kept informed of any developments or issues.
Thanks for all you have done for my mother and our family.
My father was in Heffle Court for 10 days before he died, after 6 weeks in hospital. Every member of staff we met at Heffle Court was kind, compassionate and caring. As a family, we felt that the staff bothered to get to know him and cared about him and did their best for him. When he died, the deputy manager and the staff showed us such understanding and kindness and we will never forget that. Thank you to all the staff for making my father's last days as comfortable as they could be. We will always be grateful.
My Mum's dementia was already quite advanced by the time she moved to Heffle Court. We were very impressed with the care, consideration and attention given to Mum by the friendly staff. During Mum's last few weeks, we couldn't have asked for more. All the staff were so kind to Mum and to ourselves, the care was exceptional - thank you.
My mother was sent to Heffle Court from the hospital for a temporary stay before moving to her forever home. My mother has vascular dementia which presents her with many issues including a lack of appetite and delusions. I was quite anxious about how she would cope with the change of environment but I needn't have worried. Alison and her staff made everything so easy for us. They were very welcoming calming Mum's fears and worries instantly. With the staff's encouragement and support my mum started to eat more, they diagnosed and treated her for depression which calmed her immensely. Everyone was so kind, caring and helpful. The home itself is clean and bright with many communal rooms. There are many activities laid on for residents to stimulate them. I can't praise Heffle Court and its staff enough and would highly recommend this home for temporary or permanent residence, particularly for those suffering from dementia.
Our mum is in Effle Court at the moment. She is beginning to settle down thanks to the staff who are brilliant. It has a kind environment and the staff are always friendly and caring. We have no experience with care homes or how they run but found Heffle Court to be clean, the staff helpful and caring and always ready with a smile.

My mother seems to have settled well and is contented. The staff I have met and spoken to are extremely kind and caring. As a secure home for dementia patients, I couldn't ask for a better place.
