View Full Details of Inglewood Nursing HomeMy husband was transferred from the hospital to Inglewood for palliative end-of-life care and was always treated with the utmost dignity at this stage of his life. From the moment I stepped into the reception, I knew he was in the right place. The management and staff were totally committed to making sure that he received the best possible treatment despite his frailty. I was able to connect to his personal care records, which I found comforting in the knowledge that he was being so well looked after. I cannot thank you enough.
Both receptionists are very welcoming and respectful. All the staff were very caring, friendly and happy to take the time to listen and be supportive. My father was treated with care and consideration. He was treated as a person, not just a room number. I was contacted regularly if there were any concerns with my father's health. I am very grateful to all staff for making my father's last months as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
My family and I cannot thank you enough for the impeccable nursing care offered to my aunt following transfer to Inglewood from hospital over the final 2 weeks of her long life. As a (retired) doctor myself, I am so impressed - absolutely first class, from our first exploratory visit in a state of some distress with the burden of arranging swift transfer from an acute hospital, through to the transfer itself and subsequent beautiful end of life care for my aunt as well as sympathetic and kind interactions with any visiting family. My aunt's comfort and care was clearly paramount for every staff member. I was particularly grateful be able to remotely access her electronic nursing records which were updated at least 3 times per day and offered regular assurance of her ongoing good quality care, including reports of GP visits - and there were also phone calls to alert me to significant changes so that I could keep her (similarly elderly) sisters updated as necessary. Thank you so much.
It has been my experience when visiting my friend that the home is extremely well run. The staff are caring, helpful, friendly and cheerful. They seem to take every care of the residents. Plenty of activity going on physio, exercises etc.
When we realised that dad needed to move into a Nursing Home, we felt like rabbits caught in the headlights and it was a very scary time. There were big decisions for us to make, this was all new to us and we found everything really daunting. If you are in that situation rest assured, Inglewood is a very special nursing home and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your loved one stay there. The day room is the heart of the home, the TV is amazing and the residents seem to be very happy there. Each day there are activities for the residents to enjoy and the team of experts looking after your loved one 24/7 are all really nice people and highly trained in their area of expertise. The kindness and patience we have seen them show to the residents is second to none. We know that dad is safe and happy at Inglewood and we are most grateful to everyone for taking such good care of him. There are so many positive things to say but most importantly, we have peace of mind.
Most of the regular staff are friendly and caring. However the staff seem stretched at times due to their workload and occasionally need prompting when aspects of personal care are missed. Outside entertainers are good but otherwise hit and miss.
Everything is very good and I and of course my father are very happy with the care that he receives in this comfortable home. I wish there could be some outings for him and perhaps a bit more in the way of visiting musical entertainers.
Having known her for over 40 years, I am very satisfied with the care and kindness being given to my 95 year old friend who came to live at Inglewood Nursing Home in August 2024. She is extremely well looked after, enjoys her food and is very comfortable indeed. The staff are considerate, caring, gentle and have a sense of humour which is important.
My dad was only with you a short time but cannot fault the care and attention he was shown. The staff were excellent and very patient with him.
My dad was at Inglewood for 15 months and the care he got was fantastic. I would highly recommend Inglewood.

Can't thank the staff enough for looking after both my parents. They were all kind and caring to the whole family.
Staff so caring, warm and friendly. Couldn't do enough for Pops. Upon arrival his bed didn't have side rails. They were going to move him to another room but the maintenance man removed the bed and replaced it with another bed which had the rails. Above and beyond.
Mum went into Inglewood Nursing Home from the hospital for end-of-life care. 3 months later has gone back to her own home. The care she received was excellent.
My Mum was discharged from hospital for end of life care, we were offered a couple of choices of Care Home but this one had good reviews, and the whole family are glad we chose it. She is bedridden and unable to communicate but well cared for, always clean and tidy. The staff are all friendly and check on her regularly. An online diary you can access gives a detailed account of all the care she receives which we find invaluable, saves interrupting the staff to ask questions, updated regularly. Staff also phone to check we are happy with care or to discuss any changes needed. Happy to recommend to anyone. Thanks to all at Inglewood, have cared for her 2 months and counting.
I have found the managers, the nursing staff and the carers to be friendly and caring. I am pleased I chose Inglewood. My father, although he is sometimes confused, seems happy with his care. He likes the food and his room is nice. They encourage pictures and small bits of furniture from home to make it even more homely.
My mother is well cared for at Inglewood. My mum always seems happy and talks highly of the staff. The staff are always friendly and approachable. The home is in an old building which needs a bit of updating and upgrading which seems to be happening the home is always very clean.
During the time my friend spent at Inglewood, I was delighted with the care given to him and the way the home was managed. The staff were always friendly and cooperative and the environment was always clean and cheerful. He seems to appreciate the way he was looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Inglewood to other people.
My husband was discharged from the hospital for end-of-life care at Inglewood Nursing Home. He had a lovely room overlooking the pretty garden. He was there for 10 days until he died and during that time was looked after with great care and dignity. My family and I are very grateful to all the staff at home for the care and compassion shown to us as well.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure I am ok. Really cannot fault them at all.
