View Full Details of Coppice Court Care HomeMy dad was transferred here from another care home in October this year. The difference here for dad is second to none. Dad is a very difficult person to care for but here, nothing is too much trouble. Every single member of staff shows such care and empathy towards him, giving him time and patience. Everybody from management, carers, well-being, house keeping to kitchen staff, always have a smile on their face. They keep me updated and informed in all aspects of dad's care. I have finally found dad's forever home and would recommend Coppice Court to anybody.
Since my mum has been here, shes been incredibly happy. She loves all the staff and is always laughing with them. She spends time in the dining/lounge area eating and taking part in activities. The stimulation and the caring staff are why my mum has lived to 101. I have watched staff who put a gentle hand on a patients shoulder or stroke a patients cheek. Just little things that make them feel cared for.
It is a lovely home. Always go beyond their work to help. Friendly staff. Patients have their own characteristics which is lovely to see.
A friend of mine who is 93 was on the ground floor (dementia floor). He was neglected in many ways and I witnessed a lot of inappropriate behaviour by the staff on that floor including the screening of a sexually explicit tv programme. His daughter also witnessed these things and we raised a safeguarding issue with adult social care. This has been investigated and adult social care found evidence to back up our claims. This report has now been sent to HC-One and the CQC. My mum was also in the home on the top floor (nursing). The care in that floor is much better. Although money was stolen from her purse and this wasn't investigated by the manager. She should have reported it to the police and she didn't. The staff on the top floor work very hard and are often short-staffed and don't have much time to spend with the residents. On occasions, it has taken 20 minutes or more to answer her call bell because of this. A safeguarding issue has been raised with ASC with regard to the theft.
All the staff were professional, compassionate, polite and caring. Offered a dignified care service. Gave my Father the best end-of-life care for a comfortable and dignified end.
My dad settled in well, and the staff became his family. He was suffering from dementia, but the staff were always on hand to support him and encourage him to engage in activities. We saw a positive change in him when he went to the home. Thank you for all your care and dignity in death and the support you gave to Dad and his family. We will always hold onto that memory.
We are satisfied with the care our Mother receives - Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. No visiting restrictions.
Everyone is so friendly and caring.
An excellent experience that involved the admission of my Dad and his unexpected death (at the age of 98) 4 days later. The team's response to the sudden change in his health was exceptional; from personalised nursing care to the calling of medical services. I shall always be grateful for the service Coppice Court Care Home provided that enabled my Dad to pass away comfortably and peacefully.
Very pleased with care and attention - no complaints.
Mum is very well cared for - she is happy! The staff are considerate and kind. Great sense of humour and generous with their time with all residents.. Facilities are homely, each resident is able to make their rooms their own. Familiar photos and soft toys are particularly important to my mum, they make her feel at home.
I can not thank the staff enough for all they did for my grandad during his stay. I am grateful that a staff member staff was with him in his last days, she was fantastic and showed such love and care for him. I want to thank the entire care team but special mention to two members of staff in particular because they show such care and treat the residents like their own family. I'm so glad we picked this home to place my grandad and I would recommend it to other people.
My friend came here for respite care. No remote for TV, when in bed no call button left in reach, no drinks left in reach. No shower or hair wash for eight days, unsuitable food provided as has swallowing issues. Returned home with greasy hair, not showered again. Numerous items of clothing missing. Place smelly of urine.
Everyone does all they can to make mum's time with you as comfortable as possible. We all thank you very much for your kind care.
A pleasant, well-run nursing home. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and professional.
After looking for some time for a nursing home for my friend, I visited Coppice Court. I was shown around by the assistant manager who was extremely professional, kind and helpful. My friend was lucky enough to be offered a room and has been at Coppice Court for 8 months. I am delighted with the care, support and complete professionalism shown by all staff. Despite issues with medication, the staff quickly dealt with the problem to enable a happy relocation. Thank you so much!
There is a great atmosphere in Coppice Court with people being really cared for as individuals. Concerns I have as a relative are dealt with in a caring and helpful way.
It is now twelve months since my wife entered Coppice Court Care Home and I remain both happy and confident that my dear wife is receiving the very best of care. I am able to feel relaxed that she is being very well looked after. I am full of praise for the wonderful staff and their dedication to caring. Management hold monthly meetings with relatives of residents, creating excellent communication.
My husband has been at home 6-months. The staff are very caring, friendly and helpful. He is kept clean and comfortable and encouraged to feed himself. A lack of a manager is evident, and staff were often overworked because of a shortage of staff. Overall, good.
My uncle has settled in so well at Coppice Court Care Home, he loves it and always looks clean and well. His key worker is an amazing lady and incredible carer. All the staff are really great from carers to housekeepers to kitchen.
