View Full Details of Victoria ChatsworthInitially here for two weeks, then slightly longer. Care was good and majority of staff were very kind. Food was very good with choices. My mother did not wish to join in activities although these were offered.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. The facilities were clean and comfortable. They were compassionate, taking time to listen and address any concerns I had. Meals were nutritious and catered to my preferences. Overall, my experience at Chatsworth was very good.
The staff and care is excellent, cannot find fault with anything.
Have enjoyed my "enforced" stay here. Everyone is very pleasant and professional. The food is very good. I don't need much care as I am pretty independent. I felt that they respected my wishes on this. There is no place like home though.
Could not have wished for a better treatment (from all departments). I had chosen here as my temporary rehab! Thanks to all.
My cousin has been in the care home for 3 years. He is now 99 years old. During this time he has been at the home he has been extremely well looked after by all members of staff. I would highly recommend this home to anybody.
I have been very happy here and comfortable here. My room is delightful and the staff could not be more helpful. The food is good and varied and each week we have a range of interesting activities to pursue. Although I am here because of ill health I can't imagine that I could have been anywhere better.
An excellent care home with caring and compassionate staff. No negative feedback. Mum was here for 8 weeks had an excellent service provided.
Well looked after by all staff especially cook. Very patient.
Felt like luxury after hospital. Felt that the staff were very rushed at peak times i.e breakfast. Top marks to catering staff having to cope with unexpected vegan requests. Overall quality of food was tasty and healthy. Bell always answered. Attitude of night staff a bit peremptory. Overall a good experience and reception.
Having spent the last four weeks at Victoria Chatsworth I can only praise the excellent, hardworking staff who cared for me so well throughout my recovery period. Enjoyed my stay there, wonderful care given at all times in lovely and pleasant surroundings.
Victoria Chatsworth has been a good experience for me, all the staff and carers are caring and helpful and nothing is too much trouble which has created a good atmosphere and I am sure the good nursing skills have been contributing to the healing of the cellulitis wounds on both legs. There are also many activities which residents and patients can take part in to keep mind and body sharp.
I had my views of care home based on what I heard and my view was more about the aged and final places to go, it's true but I went there after going to hospital and saw for myself the warmth and care and just how we were treated by a very caring bunch of nurses and carers. I missed them all when I went home.
Just cannot speak too highly of this home - absolutely everything brilliant. Staff - quality of care - found. So grateful for the treatment my wife has received.
Couldn't have had better care. Nursing home has proved invaluable in aiding my recovery. A lot of help and encouragement.
My aunt has stayed in this lovely care home for the past 3 weeks after being discharged from hospital for rehabilitation. She has been so well looked after by the staff and her rehab has given her the confidence to now go back home. Thank you to everyone for your love and care and also the delicious food.
I have been very happy here. Staff very helpful, I shall miss them all, will keep in touch. Food was really good. What more can I add?
A revelation.
I was fortunate enough to be discharged from the hospital to Victoria Chatsworth and spent the best part of a month in a very pleasant room, which had been recently refurbished to a high standard. I cannot fault the staff for their attention. There was a high turnover due to holidays, but the newcomers were quickly assimilated into the routine by their colleagues. I spoke to several permanent residents who appreciated the activities which were arranged for them over the Easter holiday.
I was welcomed warmly when I arrived at Victoria Chatsworth for rehabilitation for my mobility issues. I have always been treated with kindness and respect by all the carers and nurses and have been encouraged to be as independent as possible. The physio team has got me back on my feet by visiting me regularly and challenged and supported me in every aspect of my recovery so far. I would have liked to see more menu choices for a vegetarian, but the kitchen did work hard to accommodate this.
