I have been so happy with the care given to my stepfather. He has really settled in well and has told me he feels 'safe'. This is evident in the change in his behaviours.
My husband is very happy living here. As his wife, I am happy he is happy. I can't ask for more. Thank you.
On our regular visits, we are always greeted by smiley staff and told the whereabouts of the resident we visit. I know staff are quick to facilitate any needs called for and I have noticed that some residents even have a member of staff dedicated to them. Residents are offered many snacks throughout the day including tea and biscuits and sometimes mince pies! The staff are organised and make sure numerous events can take place to please residents.
My husband has settled really well and seems very happy and content. He has been through a lot of confusion but now he seems very happy and never mentions coming home. Having his own room makes a lot of difference as usually, he is a very private man. The staff are really caring.
My father was transferred to Abbots Lawn after a very unsuccessful failed placement. He has been shown nothing but kindness, care and respect since being at Abbots Lawn and has now been signed off from the crisis team. He is now almost nonverbal but the staff seem to understand what he needs and they are all extremely patient.
Well run and clean. The staff are very caring and all the residents appear to be content and happy.
Friendly and welcoming. Informative. Difficult environment to work but most do an amazing job. Very caring.
I have found the staff very friendly. They are very kind and understanding to my wife. I feel she is in good hands and being looked after well.
I am very pleased with the care that my husband receives at Abbots Lawn.
My husband was lovingly cared for at Abbots Lawn. He settled in very well. The staff are extremely friendly and very caring. He was cared for and treated as if he was their own. The staff showed care, compassion, dignity and support to our family and friends as well as my husband. They are truly Angels, we couldn't have wished for him to be anywhere else.
I found Abbots Lawn a lovely place for my mum to be. It was home from home. Staff were friendly, caring and compassionate. My mum was happy there.
Having needed to relocate Mum from another home we are extremely pleased with her experience at this home. She had far more trips out with this home than in six years at the previous home. Unfortunately, her deadline has meant she is no longer able to join in. The home has been very very proactive in getting her help and funding and ensuring her care is appropriate. Liaising with general practitioners has been good and quick action. Staff show genuine care and respect.
