View Full Details of Bramley Court Care HomeMy mum and her husband both moved to Bramley Court about 18 month ago. We cannot fault the care and support that they receive/received. Her husband has recently passed away, the care he received at the end of his life was exceptional. The care, love and support my mum has recived since him passing as well as the support to our family has been amazing. We are pleased that it is so homely here and we have total peace of mind that she will be well cared for.
Everything is excellent at Bramley Court. I cannot fault it in any way.
There is a lovely atmosphere at Bramley Court. Everyone is welcoming, pleasant and helpful. This is my husband's first stay in a nursing home. He enjoyed several activities. Looking forward to future visits. As we live next door I was able to visit John every day, join in some of the activities and stay for lunch sometimes.
Great care. My uncle is very settled here and everyone is so kind. Very responsive to any issues - however small. I cannot recommend them enough.
Bramley Court Care Home gave my wife exceptional care and love for the nineteen months she was with you before she passed away at the end of 2024. She settled in immediately the day she arrived and though she could no longer communicate intelligibly, she always seemed content, greeting us with big smiles. You handled the inevitable decline of her basic facilities with no fuss and great support and up into her last few days ensured she was always in the public areas which never let her feel isolated or alone. One member of staff had prepared us several months ago for the likely course of events in her final days. The team were amazing in that last week of her life, arranging doctors' visits and the required medicines over the holiday period, the nurses checking on her regularly and the carers making my wife comfortable every couple of hours. You looked after us, the family, around her bed throughout brilliantly with food and drink, night and day. It was a very moving occasion for us.
A top-rate care home that not only gives all the help and support to my wife but also cares how I am and how I feel. I am lucky to be part of the Bramley Court Care Home family and thank them for all they do. I am always welcomed when I arrive and asked how I am. The manager will often ask me into her office to find out how I am coping, the fact that my wife has been in the home with a terminal illness for thirteen years and the staff show such kindness allows me to have a life and for that, I am very grateful.
First-class care home in the area with incredible care for the residents. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful with excellent communication. The carers go above and beyond to care for the residents.
I visit my mother at Bramley Court Care Home and am always pleased to see how well cared for she is and how available and friendly the team are. Mum is very settled and comfortable there and I am reassured that she is getting the best possible care while maintaining her privacy and dignity. I'm so pleased that Mum has the opportunity to join in the activities and is escorted on trips so that she gets a change of scenery and some time outside, which is really important to her.
Care given was competent, reliable, with empathy and they did what they promised when we chose them. I feel I can trust the home completely to look after my relative in the way I would like to look after him. The staff appeared very well supported by their leaders and this showed in the care they gave. I have had experience of many care homes in my professional life and feel that Bramley Court Care Home is outstanding in the well-thought-out care and atmosphere it has. There has to be a negative in any review and some of the decor seemed a bit dated. But that really is the only criticism and to be honest, it could be a valid choice for a care home looking after older people.
I visit my aunt at Bramley Court Care Home, always welcomed when I arrive, have joined in a few events and singing and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. All staff are happy, carers are amazing, always happy to help and they actually sit with residents and spend one-on-one time with them. Staff are always about and happy to answer any questions. Bramley is a calm and happy home.
Kindness, understanding, always making time to listen. Always giving residents dignity and choices. Total support for residents and their families.
My dad died peacefully at Bramley in May, he was a resident since Feb. His care was outstanding and my whole family feel fortunate he could be there for his last few months. His end-of-life care was so compassionate. The staff looked after him and us too. It touched us so much that staff came to say goodbye to him and so obviously cared about him, Bramley will always have a special place in our hearts. We had such a warm welcome on our first visit, especially from the Dementia lead. Family and friends who visited said it felt so much nicer than other homes they have experienced. The dementia floor is bright and cheerful as are the staff on it. Great activities and it was heartening to see Dad interacting so positively with the carers. The private dining room for some family meals was fabulous. As a doctor I was impressed by the admission advance care plan and the monthly detailed care plans. It is a brilliant example of how residential, nursing and end-of-life care should be.
Mum came to Bramley Court for respite care for 3 weeks. She had a fabulous stay and was made so welcome by everyone. Her whole experience was exceptional. She will be more than happy to move in permanently.
I stayed at Bramley Court for 3 weeks respite. It was a wonderful experience. The staff couldn't do enough for me. The room, the food, the activities were all fabulous. I can't wait to come back.
I regularly visit Bramley Court and am always greeted with a smile and a friendly face and she always has time to exchange a few words with the receptionist. The place is always clean and tidy. There are always several carers around who are always polite and pleasant. The security of lift doors and floors is great. Have stayed to eat and also attended a few sing songs and always made to feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
I have visited Bramley on a few occasions and have always been pleased with the warm welcome/genuine care I can see being provided to residents. My great-auntie-in-law has mixed dementia, we can see a huge improvement in her personality and mood by being at Bramley, she very much enjoys the activities organised. Thank you Bramley, for allowing residents to continue living their lives with fulfilment.
Brilliant, Bramley Court Care Home richly deserves its second consecutive CQC rating of 'outstanding' and excels in all areas: wonderfully kind, compassionate and dedicated staff across the board; excellent care; varied menu of tasty, home-cooked meals and snacks; a vibrant programme of activities both inside and outside the home; stylish, homely decor; delightful 'wrap-around' garden with several 'activities chalets' including a gym and large, comfy covered seating area. Most warmly and gratefully recommended as an exceptional 'home from home' and our 'happy place'. The Bramley family ethos is very real: the residents are so loved and cherished - the heartwarming social media posts and comments say it all!
Bramley Court Care Homw is well run and the staff are well-trained and compassionate. I never have to worry about leaving Mum in their hands. The facilities and activities are first-class. It's easy to keep up with their news as they make good use of social media.
My mother has been a resident at Bramley Court Care Home for 6+ years. While vascular dementia has taken a toll the continuity of care from day one has been excellent. This week my mother achieved the grand age of 100 years. The staff helped set up the Private Dining Room on Pear to allow a small family gathering in celebration. When I arrived for the event I was overwhelmed and emotional at the thoughtfulness the staff had in putting a memorable celebration on. Beside the greetings from the King and Queen they had created a card with Queen Elizabeth II on it as this is whom my mother identifies with most. Balloons, snacks and drinks helped seal the event. I cannot thank the staff at Bramley Court enough - excellent across time.
My mum has been in Bramley Court Care Home for over six years now and her needs for care have always been a priority for the staff. The staff have always informed me of any concerns with Mum and most weeks, when I visit, they update me on her care.
