Our precious mum moved into Cottenham Court Care Home in July 2024. She never wanted to end her life in a nursing home but, after being ill, was no longer able to be independent. Mum was receiving palliative/end of life care. All the staff, including nurses, carers, cleaners, kitchen staff, activity staff, maintenance and admin were so kind and caring. They made, what was an extremely stressful and difficult few months, much more bareable. They were so thoughtful towards all of us who visited on a daily basis. We cannot thank them enough.

We enjoyed our visit and benefited from a birthday cake shared by one of the staff - who are all generally wonderful. Despite the works, Cottenham Court Care Home is still coping very well. Well done.

I stayed at the home for 14 days after a hip replacement operation. I was warmly welcomed, and looked after very well by all members of the staff. They were cheerful, kind, and attentive. The food was flavoursome! I am very grateful for the care I received. Many thanks.

This care home has such a welcoming atmosphere, from the first time of visited, all the staff were friendly and clearly proud of where they worked. The rooms are just the right size, and personal preferences are taken into consideration, such as changing the orientation of the bed to enable easier access and a better view of the TV! Mum was here only a couple of months but her outlook and social confidence were transformed after many years living alone. She happily joined in all the social activities on offer and loved the bingo sessions in particular. All the staff, not just the care staff but also the catering, cleaning and laundry staff and admin team had the residents' needs at the top of their concerns, and Mum flourished in their care. The level of care given to Mum to accommodate her disabilities was exceptional, and the care and compassion we received from Cottenham Court upon Mum's sudden passing was amazing. I have no hesitation in recommending this home.

My Mother became a full-time resident at Cottenham Court after a 7-week stay in the hospital. She has been at the care home for a month and I have noticed a marked improvement in her health and her happiness. She is treated with kindness and respect at all times and is encouraged to join in with the many and varied activities. The home is light and airy with lovely outdoor areas.

Although Mum was only here for a very short period of time all the staff were very attentive and friendly. All my Mum's needs were met. Mum was kept comfortable. The staff also met families' needs and were always available for updates and comfort.

I used the respite care service at Cottenham Court as convalescence following an operation. As a widower, I needed support to make the transition back to everyday life. The care here has been everything that I needed it to be, provided in a friendly and welcoming way. My dietary requirements were accommodated with no problem.

I have always found the staff very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The home is very clean, modern and with appropriate-sized rooms. I would be very happy for my family member to be cared for here.

The resident I visited until her recent death was happy and well looked after. Her care throughout her stay was excellent and she was treated with affection and tenderness in her final days. Staff were helpful and kept me informed. I believe Cottenham Court is a happy and caring place for residents, my impression is that it is also a happy place for staff and that is reflected in the standard of care.

My aunt received fantastic care and support whilst a resident. Her end of life care was dignified, caring and well-managed. The management and staff are fantastic!

This is a wonderfully welcoming, kind and friendly-staffed care home. The care is second to none and the rooms and décor are clean and up to date. It has a lovely atmosphere. My mum is very well cared for. The food always looks lovely. The staff are very approachable and eager to involve you as a relative. The administration staff are also very helpful. It feels like a family.

I have been here for nine months and continue to be impressed and touched at the excellent quality of care that I receive. The environment is consistently positive, friendly, respectful, safe and well organised. This comes from the managers and from across all the staff team. There is a strong ethos here of responding flexibly to the individual needs and wishes of each resident. I feel that my needs are well understood and fully met and that my wishes are heard, respected and responded to positively. This is so important as it enables me to have as good a quality of life as I can, given my condition. The physical environment is also very good. The home is purpose built and is excellently maintained, including new carpets and curtains recently fitted. There are colourful pictures along the corridors, there is a spacious lounge/activities area, and a lovely courtyard garden. The staff do what they can to make each resident feel as at home as possible - and I do.

The warm welcome I get every time I visit feels like coming home. The atmosphere in the home is always caring and friendly from all staff and other residents too. Staff take their time to make sure all is well and behind doors, the kitchen is making fabulous food which always looks and smells yummy. I will be forever grateful for the care/support given so openly. Thank you.

Thank you. It was a very traumatic experience having to bring my aunt to a care home but the staff were so reassuring that she would settle ( wasn't sure) I have had lovely reports from her friends who have visited her. I have come today (from where I live) and have found a well-settled, neat and happy 104-year-old person. Going to the restaurant and joining in the activities.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They provide excellent care for my husband in a lovely setting. The staff take the time to get to know my family and my husband which makes everyone's experience so positive. My family and I would recommend this care home and staff to anyone looking for a future home for their loved ones.

On entering the care home it has a warm and relaxed atmosphere and is clean and spacious. The staff always appear smart and act professionally giving respect and dignity to residents. All staff have always been polite and helpful when I visit and via telephone. It gives me peace of mind to know that my friend is safe and being cared for.

The staff make you feel so comfortable, the activities especially the Kngs Coronation party were great fun for all residents and staff.
