The care home is lovely. The staff are attentive and always available to answer queries. There is clearly a high level of care given to residents. Rooms are clean as well as common areas. All in all would recommend
I recently visited my stepmother who is a resident in King Suite. My husband and I were greeted warmly and professionally. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and there were no unpleasant odours. My stepmother was content and said she enjoyed being in the care home. Several members of staff chatted with us and we were particularly impressed with the variety of activities available, one having recently been a trip out for afternoon tea. The menu looks very good and suitable with a large choice and seems to be enjoyed by the residents. The offer of tea and coffee to visitors was much appreciated. Well done to all the staff.
I visit my dad in the care home every week and each time, have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. There is always a smile. Any requests are followed up and resolved quickly and questions are answered promptly. The good care of my dad is obvious and he is clearly very happy and engaged by the staff and the variety and quantity of activities. Great place. Thank you.
Mum has now been a resident of Barchester Hilton Park Care Home for just over five years. I am extremely pleased with the care given to her. The team there in Kings Unit, where mum is, are approachable and caring and some members of the team have been there a long time. I feel that I can talk constructively to them if I ever have any minor niggle and they will put my mind at rest. The manager at Hilton Park is also very welcoming and in my opinion, communicates promptly. They all do their best to do a good job. You can sense the welcoming atmosphere as soon as you arrive in reception. I would also like to give credit to the activities team. Although my mum wants to stay in her room nowadays, I can see the effort they put in to keep residents stimulated and their enthusiasm for what they do to entertain the residents is heartwarming.
My mother has been a resident for a year and a half and I can't fault anything. The staff are caring, treat everyone with dignity and respect and make time for all residents. The activities are well-led and they have a range of activities to suit all residents' needs. It's a safe and secure home, the home is always clean, tidy and of a high standard.
Dad was transferred from hospital to Barchester Hilton Park Care Home by the NHS for end-of-life care. For the three weeks he was at the home before passing away, we were impressed with the caring, friendly and helpful staff who gave Dad excellent care right up to the end and allowed his last weeks to be as comfortable and dignified as possible. The excellent meals and comfortable room were appreciated but really, it's the staff that makes the difference. We are so grateful that they gave us the reassurance that he was being well looked after in his final days.
Outstanding care home, staff are very welcoming, the care they provide is of excellent standard. Activities are arranged for all residents regardless of their health. Everyone is treated equally. Pleasure to come and visit my family member and would highly recommend.
An exceptionally good care home with caring, friendly staff, a lot of whom have been working there a number of years. My husband receives the very best of attention and the care home provides a programme of weekly activities to stimulate and engage residents. Good food served in hotel-style dining rooms with teas/coffee/squash and cake also available at all times. It's a pleasure to visit there, particularly as family and friends are always made welcome. The home also has an excellent relationship with the local GP surgery which provides reliable service to the residents. My husband is extremely happy there.
My husband has been at Hilton Park since March 2023. Whenever I have had any issues regarding my husband's care they have been dealt with immediately. On occasions, I have had to raise the same issues but again these have been addressed. Most of the carers seem to enjoy their role and as a result their standards of care are high quality.
Mum was in Hilton Park for five weeks, following a fall and stay in hospital. She was well looked after, kept safe and encouraged to join activities. Her frailty and memory loss made life challenging for her. The staff were all very kind, caring and reassuring to her and us. Mum died in July, in her sleep - Barchester Hilton Park Care Home staff were helpful to the end.

The care given to my mum was just amazing. They treat her with dignity, nothing was too much. I cannot thank you all enough because the care given was out of this world. They made her feel comfortable and cheerful when she had her good days. It's like one big family unit, they welcome you with care and support. One amazing care home and anyone coming into it is really lucky to have such amazing staff, carers looking after them. Thank you so much for all you have done and what you are doing.
My mother has been here since November 2023 and I have found the staff to be very professional and caring. They do a very good job in what is an extremely difficult situation and my family and I are very happy with the care she is receiving. Her room is quite pleasant and the surrounding grounds are good for a nice walk for her to get out when the weather permits.
The staff have been friendly and welcoming and having enjoyed all the facilities, I have enjoyed my stay here.
Friendly, efficient, welcoming staff.
My husband has been a resident of Hilton Park Care Home now for a number of years. During that time his health has deteriorated but the staff at the care home have continued to provide excellent nursing care. The care provided has been constantly adjusted to ensure that his needs are met and everyone with whom he comes into contact is professional, very kind and considerate towards him. I have also found that the activities staff try to encourage him to participate in activities when his health allows. The management are always approachable and willing to give time to resolve any problems which affect his well-being.
I think Barchester Hilton Park Care Home is a very caring place. My mother has thrived there. The staff are committed and caring. Activities are splendid. The grounds are beautiful. A suggestion would be for a marquee in the garden for summer events. Getting residents outside. Another suggestion would be to improve communication with families. Very good care home.
My husband was at Hilton Park Care Home for six months. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff, for the kindness to both residents and families, it is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend Hilton Park Care Home, Bottisham.
