Thank you to all the staff for the care they give to my mother-in-law. Our family have no hesitation in recommending The Grange Care Home facility.
Care review for my father who has been a resident since September 2021. Went through the care plan with the manager and everything was explained to me very clearly and didn't need to ask any questions. Dad has recently moved rooms and has settled into it very quickly and is definitely a better choice for him as he can move around downstairs more independently. His room upstairs was also amazing but as he is stubborn and not happy about asking for help to go downstairs he tended to isolate himself. On a personal note as a visitor to the Grange, I am always made to feel welcome like it's my home too. Staff are always happy and the very best I could ask for and a lot better at caring for my Dad than I could ever be. I would recommend this residential home to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one.
The Grange is a very pleasant building set in lovely gardens with excellent facilities. A great standard of food, a high quality of care, dignity of residents and staffing care are all exceptionally good. Both staff and management are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the comfort and care of the residents if our experience is anything to go by.
A caring facility with a real family feel. Staff are always professional and treat each resident with patience, kindness and dignity. They look happy and always have time to chat with each resident. Each key person has developed a warm, friendly relationship with their residents. My mother enjoys all the activities on offer, especially the singalongs, flower arranging and pottery. She always looks very presentable and well cared for, and importantly, says she's happy there. My only quibble is that sometimes visitors have to wait quite a while for the door to be opened and it would be really nice if there were tea/coffee making facilities for visitors. Huge thanks to all the staff at The Grange.
Excellent. Staff are very friendly and approachable. They treat residents with care and compassion. The in-house entertainment and activities are well-balanced and varied and are thoroughly enjoyed by the residents.
The Grange is absolutely fantastic. My father was moved here 2 years ago from another nursing home in the area and all I will say is, I can't believe I let my father stay in the other home for 14 years. The difference is another level. The staff are fantastic! They are all so friendly and loving, not just towards the residents, but family members too. They do so much for the residents. Every month we get sent a 'what's on' where nearly every day there is an activity for residents to take part in. They also have key workers assigned to each resident so they can take them out 1-1 and do things they like doing as well. The food is amazing and every day they get a menu and options of what food they would like. For breakfast, they can have three courses! Honestly, it's absolutely brilliant. Would recommend The Grange to anyone. My dad describes it as a hotel and we can see what he means.
Littleport Grange is an excellent care provider with lovely approachable, happy and caring staff. Senior staff and managers are contactable and quickly implement any changes needed in Dad's care. We were really anxious about Dad going into a care home, you always think no one will ever care for someone so precious in your life, as well as their family, do. Littleport Grange has definitely proved us wrong. A big thank you to everyone.
Since dealing with Littleport Grange from September 2023, we have found from stepping through their doors everyone went the extra mile to help us. The building is older than some in the area but very well maintained, the gardens are beautiful but it's the care received by our uncle that we have always found to be outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, any questions we have are answered immediately with the greatest respect to all concerned. The activities they all provide to residents are targeted to residents' interests. Moving anyone into this kind is situation is never easy but all management and staff made this so much easier than we could have ever hoped for.
My mother will have been at The Grange for almost 2 years now and throughout that time I have always found the staff and management to be very helpful and friendly. My mother definitely feels special and cared for.
As a family we have found Littleport Grange to be extremely well-run. The large Victorian building is warm and clean and the spaces are well utilised. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the management team has always been swift to respond to any issues we have had. The carers are intuitive and seem to have time for residents, while the maintenance team have also been helpful and proactive in sorting out Dad's room and fixing things. They also do a great job in the garden. My father, who is a long-term resident, is comfortable and relaxed. He looks forward to the food, which is varied and home-cooked. In the summer, the garden is a real pleasure to sit in, and throughout the year the occupational therapist does a wonderful job of organising trips and outings. If only more care homes were like this!
We are delighted with the care my husband's aunt receives. The reasons for moving came to a head very quickly. She was very anxious and missed her home. Littleport Grange was excellent at supporting her and reducing her anxiety. It is obvious that they have her best interests at heart. She has been on many trips and she is much happier than we have seen her for years. We feel very reassured with her at Littleport Grange.
Littleport Grange Residential Home is a beautiful building set in established mature gardens with an excellent standard of care, quality of food, dignity of residents and staffing care are all excellent. Both staff and management are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure an excellent quality care package. Well done everyone, 5 stars.
We would like to say that even though our mother (89) had a very short stay (seven weeks) at the home, the service, activities, food quality and attention of all staff was excellent. Ten out of ten, we would recommend the home to anyone!
Can’t fault the care mum received whilst in temporary care at Littleport Grange Residential Home. Friendly, caring staff, who stimulate the residents with activities every day. A clean caring environment for your loved ones.
From Mum's first day (now over a year) the level of care has been beyond our expectations. The staff are all kind, caring and are led by a management team that is honest and sets the ethos that is felt throughout the home. Although Mum is a private person, she has been included in many of the weekly events that take place. Choosing a care home was never on the family's radar but I can honestly say all our concerns or preconceived views have been put to rest as Littleport Grange Residential Home has been so good in every area of care for Mum and other residents. Always smiling with genuine care. Thank you.
Time to relate to every person as an individual. Our relative has more freedom and one to one attention here than her previous care home. The meals' choice and quality are excellent. Well done.
The Grange is looking after my mum who has dementia. It is a beautiful home with wonderful gardens. The staff are always happy and helpful. There are many activities for the residents to get involved in including, arts and crafts, musicians and day trips. All the residents seem happy there. I feel reassured that mum is in safe hands. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this home to others.
I am happy with the care my mother receives.
I am happy in my room being looked after nicely, the staff are nice. I can't find any fault with anything.
My mother has been at Littleport Grange Home for six years now. The staff are caring and responsive to her complex needs. They are reassuring when I am worried about mum. The activities for the residents are amazing. I cannot fault this care home.
