View Full Details of Claremont Nursing HomeMy grandad absolutely loves being here. All the staff are so patient and kind with him. There are so many activities for him to join in with and ways to interact with everyone. We always feel so welcome here as his family too. I am so greatful for the whole teams support with him.
My grandmother is very well looked after in this home. The home is run very well and nothing is to much trouble from any of the staff here. I loved visiting and am also made very welcome. I can't thank them enough for all they do.
My wife and I visited our relatives for the first time after they became residents at Claremont Nursing Home. From the outset, the friendliness and care shown was very evident. Our visit extended into their lunch and we were invited to have lunch with them which was very nice. We came away confident that they were receiving very good care for their particular issues.
I am with the local nursery and we visit on Monday mornings with around 10 youngsters ranging from 2-4 years old. With every visit the staff, children and residents gain lots of pleasure and enjoyment. The residents are always happy and looked after very well by the staff. The residents always talk about how much they love being there and always talking about the activities they get up to. The facilities are excellent and very clean.
I go to the Claremont Nursing Home with a group of nursery children. From my observations the rooms are airy and clean. The carers are very attentive to the needs of the residents who seem to be well cared for and generally happy.
I have been visiting Claremont House now with my nursery children on a weekly basis for three years now. The residents are well cared for and supported by staff. The relationships they have with the residents is clear to see. The home is clean and bright and very inviting. The kitchen always prepare snack that the residents and children share, which is always of the highest quality. Claremont has worked hard to create amazing spaces for the residents and we have also had the pleasure of meeting them out within the local community. Our work with Claremont has and continues to benefit both the children and residents by increasing well-being, building relationships and sharing skills. Everyone looks forward to Mondays and the joy that is felt by all during our sessions is immeasurable. Intergenerational care is gaining motion within Great Britain and I am so proud to be associated with Claremont and our ground breaking work. I would recommend Claremont highly.
The care that everyone does for my friend is lovely. I come into visit him every week. Best thing there is the food and games. I was allowed to join in when I visited last time for fish and chips and bingo games. I miss my neighbour terribly but know that we still have a lot of fun time together at his new home. I know for sure when I where I would like to come when I need to be cared for sometime soon. Thank you.
I think you're all wonderful. My best friend and I had a great Christmas day. He is looked after like a king!
Always friendly but sometimes lack following up on questions and concerns of resident. I.e when asking after health concerns. But there's often something going on music, quiz. Have dogs come in.
Very welcoming and caring from all staff. Mum unable to present to join in with activities as bed bound, but hopefully can facilities in near future. Nice gesture for Christmas present to be given from Claremont Nursing Home, she enjoyed meeting the Grinch.
We were worried about putting Dad into a care home but we couldn't have chosen a better place. Dad's time at Claremont Lodge was filled with warmth, kindness and respect. The staff really are the kindest people and supported us as a family too. Entertainment, especially singing and dancing, trips out were important to Dad and we chose this home for the abundance of fun events and activities. We were not disappointed, as it was above and beyond all expectations. He very much enjoyed the food too. Despite his illness, Dad was able to laugh and have fun here, thanks to the whole amazing team of kind and loving people. Thank you to all.
Have always found the staff to be very caring and supportive. Any queries dealt with in a timely manner. Thank you to all - wonderful staff.
Just want to say a great big thank you to you all for making today(our Golden wedding anniversary) so special. We had a lovely meal and the most beautiful cakes. The room looked so lovingly decorated and nothing was too much trouble. The tiramisu was gorgeous as usual. Thank you again.
After struggling to come to terms with the fact that hubby needed care. The Claremont Nursing Home was the best choice, I can now spend time with him relaxed and happy that he is well cared for and the staff are all brilliant.
Excellent staff, can't fault anything. All departments are fantastic. Thanks to you all.
My mum has been at Claremont Nursing Home since September 2022 following a stroke, she was only in for respite for physiotherapy, the then manager didn't push or follow up mum's physiotherapy and then left after a couple of months of Mum being there, then another manager took up the post of manager and after just a few months he then left and another manager took over. The now manager has turned the home around with the focus being that the home is the resident's home and the staff come to work to help and assist the residents with their daily needs as well as entertainment, the entertainment manager has really worked closely with the manager and now there are always activities on for the residents, including visits from the local nursery school, singers and cabaret weekly, bingo and even taking residents out to the beach on a 1-2-1 including my mum. I am so happy with the way things have started turning around and would highly recommend Claremont Nursing Home.
Staff have been very kind throughout mum's stay between September 2022 and January 2023. Overall mum's been happy here. Towards the end of life, the care was truly exceptional. The staff and management are a really good bunch.
Very happy with all aspects of the home including staff, its very clean and I am very pleased with everything.
I would like to thank Claremont Nursing Home for the care they have given my mother who has Alzheimer's. Her room was nice with a private toilet facility. The staff were friendly and caring, and the office manager in particular was very kind and supportive and went above and beyond her job role.
My lovely friend (for whom we have POA) has been in the Claremont Nursing Home since 2018 as she could no longer live at home. She's got a nice room and is well cared for. I visit her regularly and the team of staff, including one of the nurses, have been there the whole time, they are lovely and kind and make it the nicest time they can for all of the residents. They take my friend to the communal room as much as they can and have helped her to start eating on her own again. The new manager has been there for about a year, along with the admin lady. They are both really nice, caring and professional; the home feels better for them being there and the staff are happier. The manager has made some improvements and upgrades, including redecorating and a large TV in the communal area, which is great for the residents. My friend, who has dementia, is happy which is the most important thing. I would recommend the Claremont Nursing Home.
