View Full Details of Chilton Croft Nursing HomeMy Mum moved to Chilton Croft, from another care home. The care she is receiving is excellent. I cannot fault Chiltern Croft. The staff are great with her. I also feel much more relaxed now she is at Chiltern Croft, it's a great care home.
I have been a carer all my working life and I can't fault Chilton Croft at all. The staff is fantastic and the management is as well. The food is vetter than in a very good restaurant. The whole place is very clean. The activities are good as my Dad enjoys them. The staff are all happy and in my mind that makes a happy home for the residents.
My Father has only been here for around a month now. He has settled in very well. When we looked around the nursing home we were greeted by management and their staff, they were all very lovely and had a good tour around. Spoke about everything they will offer and care for my Father. I do know my Father hasn't been to any of the activities yet but they are very good from what I have seen when visited.
My father was a resident for 5 years and seemed to be treated well, the care staff I met seemed nice. Unfortunately, my father passed away on January 31st and that was where the problems began. I found it very distasteful that within a couple of hours, I was asked by management to leave a review, no consideration for what we were going through it seemed. If they wanted a review then maybe send out an email after a few days instead! Some of my dad's belongings were put in the loft which we found out after we asked where they were, sadly I feel that we were let down by management so I hope management can take on board that empathy goes a long way.
It's a lovely nursing home which has very good excellent staff, who are excellent doing their jobs, they're all very kind and very caring and very helpful. As my dad who had very late-stage dementia who they looked after every well, wonderful staff who work very hard in their jobs, very clean place to stay, recommend this nursing home to everyone.
Excellent service My dad was in Chilton Croft Nursing Home because he needed 24-hour care, he had dementia. Sadly my dad passed away and was only there for 6 days. I can't fault the home that the time my dad was in there. Overall experience was excellent, care, support, cleanliness, and rooms. I would like to thank all the staff and management for caring for my dad.
My wife has been residing at Chilton Croft Nursing Home for the past few weeks and she seems to have settled very well. Chilton Croft has a warm, homely feeling, not the bare stark cold feeling of more modern homes we have been to. All this staff come across as polite, dedicated and professional considering the daily thankless tasks they have to perform. I help to feed my wife most lunch times and I can vouch that the meals are excellent plus the cakes for dessert are a speciality.
From the outset, we have felt a welcoming and happy atmosphere when visiting. The staff are vigilant, caring and patient and teh residents look clean and tidy, as does the living area throughout. The bedroom, adequate in size, is always clean and bedlinen fresh. Every effort is made to accommodate personal items for the residents pleasure. Obviously, activities are limited in such an overall environment. I have no hesitation in commending the managers and staff for their standard of care and the wellbeing of residents.
Whenever we visit the home we are always made welcome and offered refreshments. My mother is always treated with dignity and respect. The staff go out of their way to make the home feel like a home away from home. If they have any issues they wish to discuss, it is always done privately and any of our concerns are listened to and dealt with.
We have been very impressed with Chilton Croft since my brother arrived in November. Very professional and caring staff. Very clean and excellent food. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. My brother is treated with care and respect and feels comfortable at Chilton Croft.
What a wonderful care home. From first entering the building the atmosphere was so good. A really clean, homely and beautifully decorated house. The staff were brilliant. Everyone communicated so well and so helpfully answered any questions. All the residents appeared so comfortable in their surroundings, a real home-from-home. As I passed the dining room the tables were dressed beautifully for lunch and I was tempted myself by the food choices on offer. I could see a vast improvement in my friend since he arrived at Chilton Croft, which speaks for itself. Finally, the coffee served to me during my visit would rival any barista.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Chilton Croft Nursing Home to anyone for the following reasons: 1. The whole building is kept clean and homely. 2. The staff are so kind to all residents and visitors. 3. Excellent trained nurse available at all times. 4. Food is at a high standard. 5. Chilton Croft is always a pleasurable experience when visiting your loves ones.
I cannot rate your care home highly enough. My dad was treated with the utmost dignity and care in his final days. The staff have so much respect and empathy for their residents. The food was excellent. Anyone looking for care for their loved ones need look no further than Chilton Croft. I can only hope when my time comes I get to be in a home like this.
My father was in Chilton Croft Nursing Home. I only have good things to say about the croft, from his personal care to his contentment, they all treated him with dignity and respect, he was always washed and clean, his bedding was always freshly changed everyday, his food looked nutritious and inviting and always the staff and manager were so lovely to us as a family. I would give them ten out of ten and I recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much Chilton Croft.
My father-in-law was in this home and was looked after with care and dignity. He loved the food and loved the staff. The manager was so lovely and genuine. They cannot do enough for you. It's a ten out of ten from me. He was so contented in the home.
Clean, tidy, professional and very personable. Very happy with all the service they provided. Only in there for six months, treated us all with the utmost respect, great team, five stars, until the end of her life. Listened to all of us, helped us with regular contact, was no issue at all. We wouldn't hesitate to let any of our relations move into here.
My mother had been a resident at Chilton Croft Nursing Home for almost two years. Sadly, she has now passed away but the care and thoughtfulness shown by the staff during her last week cannot be stressed enough. Over the many hours that I was with my mother, many members of staff would come in, not only to check on her but also to see if I was alright and to share their memories of my mother. They helped to make a difficult time bearable. I know that my mother was happy and well cared for at Chilton Croft and that the decision to take her there was the right one.
The staff, from management to cleaner, have been friendly and helpful. They always listen to any requests and if they can help they will.
Very impressed with this cheerful and friendly nursing home. Arrived here in quite poor condition initially but was soon put to rights by the professional and conscientious care to be found here. Staff are universally helpful; nothing too much trouble for anyone. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for sound, nursing care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Our mother has been a resident here for nearly a year. We visit twice a week on different days and at different times and have found a consistently high level of care and standards. The staff have always been good at offering an open and welcoming attitude and been responsive to our comments and requests about our views on Mum's needs. Staff seem consistently caring and understanding toward Mum and she seems happy with her environment, food, medication support and staff care and attitude toward her. Her room and the general areas are kept clean - it has always been a pleasurable and reassuring experience when we spend time with Mum at Chilton Croft Nursing Home.
