View Full Details of Waltham HouseMy mother has been a resident for over eight years (now) and she's very well looked after in all her needs. Management and all staff are polite and caring and very efficient. If you do have a problem they attend to it instantly. I feel happy to leave my mum in their care, when I go home after after visiting and have peace of mind she's safe.
I visit my friend every Wednesday and have always been treated with respect and they are very helpful as I am disabled and walk with a walker and the staff are wonderful to the residents.
My nan is now in her 90s. Since being at Waltham House she has been very happy. Every time I visit her she is clean and happy. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. They are very welcoming and nothing is a problem. The food is great and always warm and advertising. My nan's room is spotless and clean every day. The standard of care is amazing.
My father-in-law sadly died recently after 3 years at Waltham House. His care was excellent and communication with us was the same. Staff are always on hand and nothing is too much trouble. And the management are always looking to improve what is already an excellent service. We knew that my father-in-law was always comfortable and safe, and that was a huge help to us.
Staff very good, polite and friendly. Looked after Mum very well and I would like to thank everyone at the home for all their help.
Very caring staff, very supportive and reassuring.
Nothing but outstanding excellence in the care and treatment of my dad on respite. Staff always on hand, nothing too much trouble, healthy food choices and an excellent clean environment. Dad has really enjoyed being there and would approach them again if respite is needed.
I was treated very professionally and compassionately by Waltham House staff in the death of my father. It is a lovely home in a lovely place!
Thank you so much for caring for my mother-in-law in the last seven months of her life. She couldn't have received more sensitive care had she passed away in a hospice. Your attention to the smallest details made her last months and our lives so much easier. Thank you, you are what caring is all about.
We are happy with the care and kindness of the staff. My mum-in-law is happy and content.
My uncle is always very happy and well looked after. The staff are very friendly, helpful, entertain and include him with lots of activities. The home has a lovely feeling of being at home.
Very happy with the staff and treatment. Always welcoming and polite to all. Pleasant surroundings, a pleasure to visit my brother who is happy here. God bless you all.
I noticed my mum wasn't eating her food I asked her the reason why, and mum said it was the spice and herbs that were cooked with the food that upsets her stomach. I have spoken to the staff they do their very best and offer her other options of meals which I was very pleased to know and stopped me worrying about her.
The staff are like extended family. They are sweet and caring and all deserve to be shown appreciation. Having my mum here was a godsend. The care and thoughtfulness of the team were professional even when they were overwhelmed with phone calls and more. All the staff are wonderful and caring with kindness.
My mother entered Waltham House during a Covid lockdown. Unfortunately, no visits were authorised during that time. We were obviously worried and concerned about her. All our fears were put to rest, however! Waltham House offers a kind and caring environment to residents. Staff are first class. Plenty of activities and entertainment are available. We are kept up to date concerning Mum's welfare, always by telephone. Monthly meetings are held with the manager and staff, in which friends and family can ask questions and bring up any concerns where necessary. Changes are made when requested. Mum is always clean and freshly dressed. The furnishings and facilities may not be bang up to day, but Waltham has a homely atmosphere and cheerful, friendly staff. I am very happy that my mum has been looked after so well.
Always greeted upon arrival, directed to where resident is during visit (i.e own room or lounge). Encouraged to join in with any activities taking place at time of visit. Resident is treated with care, any questions answered and updates on care relayed. Invitation to join them all for Christmas dinner, or to leave gifts ready under the tree. Spoken to at end of visit, wished well until next visit. So lovely.
My wife and I are so pleased that mum is a resident of Waltham House. The staff are so caring and efficient. The food is very good and it's so pleasant to be offered a meal with mum on occasion. There are regular activities throughout the week which help stimulate the residents. The church services are very beneficial to mum. Don't let any of the staff leave. They are marvellous.
All staff are courteous and caring both with their clients and visitors alike. My wife has been very well looked after these past two years living at Waltham House and I have great admiration for the staff providing a loving, kind and caring service to all that work there. Thank you so much.
Waltham House is full of wonderful kind caring staff who are always happy. It's small enough for all the carers to get to know the families as well as the residents. Food is good and the home is always spotless. Communication is very good between the staff and families.
My mum has received exemplary care during her time at Waltham House. She took time to settle but the patience of all the staff have made her feel as safe and settled as she could given her condition. The home is always extremely clean and my mother's personal needs are very well addressed - she, her clothes, room, and bedding are always pristine. Whilst her moving into a home was an exceptionally difficult time, overall I feel she is now in the best place for both her health and safety.
