View Full Details of Saville Manor Nursing HomeThe care that Saville Manor have provided to both my parents has been exemplary. Mum and Dad always felt at home where nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were always welcoming and caring and as a family, we will be forever thankful for all the care and love they showed to our family. All the staff, regardless of their role, care about the residents and treat them as their extended family. Residents are treated with respect and dignity and staff endeavour to tailor activities to people's interests and abilities by getting to know each individual. I regularly recommend Saville Manor as a care home and will continue to do so.
Since his arrival, my husband has been treated with great care and kindness. Every member of the team, from management to cleaner have treated us both with courtesy and the utmost level of professionalism. I am absolutely delighted with all that Saville Manor Nursing Home has to offer.
Nice setting. Lovely staff, very helpful and caring. Mum seems very settled and always smiles and waves when a member of staff approaches her. Her room is a good size and has always been clean whenever I have visited. Everyone seems very friendly.
My mum has been at Saville Manor for a year now, she is very happy & has improved over the year. Thank you to all the staff for the wonderful job you all do. She has a lovely bright airy room with a great outlook.
My sister always looks contented and well looked after. The change in her since she has been in your care is remarkable. Well done to you all, you are doing an excellent job.
My brother received excellent care while he was in Saville Manor Nursing Home. The staff are kind and efficient.
The care home is run well. Staff work hard and are very caring.
Mum has been a resident at Saville Manor for 15 months now. We have always been very pleased with the way she has been cared for. The staff are always pleasant and willing to talk and tell us how things are going.
I wish to thank all the staff for their professionalism, kindness and loving care of my mother, who was a resident at Saville Manor for six and a half years. I have found the staff always to be cheerful, responsive and helpful. Nothing is ever a problem and, even when busy, the staff take time to listen and understand and to offer advice when needed. There is a strong sense that the staff enjoy their work, as well as each other's company: this creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as a sense that everything is in hand. I found communications to be excellent and liked being contacted in person by phone. Saville Manor has a beautiful private garden. It is also situated on Durdham Downs, with life and activity taking place all around. The Downs are great for walking and the University of Bristol Botanical Gardens are close by: the location is ideal in so many ways. I shall never forget the kindness shown to my mother and all our family. Thanks to everyone at Saville Manor.
My mother in law has recently moved into Saville Manor due to increased care needs. The staff are phenomenal, always positive and smiling despite doing such an exhausting role. My mother in law is in a really lovely room, she knows her own mind and is making herself very comfortable there, choosing what she wants to do each day. She has her things around her and we can visit her daily as well as taking her out to get her to her beautician, hair, lunch, shopping and church appointments. We haven’t explored the gardens yet but hope to in the spring. She enjoys her meals and sometimes joins other residents in the lounge, however she prefers to watch her own programmes on the television in her room and read her books. She has her legs dressed regularly and their condition is monitored regularly by the nursing staff. I am very pleased with Saville Manor and am very happy that my mother in law’s increasing care needs are so well met with caring and such hard working staff.
This is a well-run home with caring staff and management. Other than that I have nothing to add.
Staff very helpful. Very approachable. Always keeping me up to date.
When the need for full-time care was established for my family member - three were identified and visited. From that initial visit of enquiry at Saville Manor to the ongoing care provided for a resident who has multiple care needs - the person-centred professional care has been exemplary. The patience - kindness, and caring of staff shown to residents and their family members in Saville Manor is very much appreciated. Thank you.
My mum was a resident of Saville Manor for eight months. She thrived in the caring, loving environment. The staff really understood my mum and adjusted her care accordingly. I never worried about her during her stay, and it became a joy to visit her. During her final days, the staff provided excellent care and love and supported us during a very sad time. Thank you, Saville Manor.
My mother died on the 21st of September, having been in Saville Manor for four years. The level of care she received in that time was absolutely outstanding. The staff were all extremely loving and caring. My mum always told me how happy she was there. I have nothing but positive things to say about Saville Manor, and I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone who needs full-time care.
Saville Manor Nursing Home is always clean, tidy, and staff are always happy to help. Staff keep in touch as much as possible about my dad. My dad is always happy! I am not sure about the food, always looks good, but my dad is really fussy. I am very happy.
Special arrangements were made to give the Covid-19 vaccine to my sister-in-law since she had refused to take it the last two times. I was invited to support my sister-in-law during the third visit, and all the staff and the nurses who visited, especially to offer the vaccine, have played a very efficient team effort, and it was a success.
Anytime I ask how my brother is doing, I am told by the people who have visited him that your nursing home is caring with skilled staff and nothing to worry about! What peace of mind to hear that. God bless all staff and the residents.
Ideal for residents needing nursing and much care. For respite and active care slightly lacking. Fantastic carers and indeed all staff. All staff from all levels superb.
A very enjoyable stay as always.
