My mother joined you in January 2025 and quickly settled in albeit getting used to her new surroundings was initially difficult. I found the management and staff to be extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and provided a clean healthy environemtn for its residents. Although my mother was only with you for a short time I felt assured she was well looked after and comfortable.

We would like to thank the whole team of Gardenia Court Nursing Home who were so kind and caring with our dad during his end-of-life care. They were all so compassionate, ensuring he felt safe and cared for with empathy and dignity. Thank you once again from all the family.

The staff at Gardinia Court have cared for my mum and brought her back to us with their love and kindness. Mum is so happy there! The Christmas party was fantastic with music, dancing and singing, a raffle and amazing food. Every week they do something with the residents and daily physio has really made a difference to Mum. We can't thank them enough!

My wife and I have been and still are visitors to at least five care/nursing homes over the last five or six years. So far this is probably the best out of all of them and would recommend Gardenia Court to any of our friends or relatives.

After a month in hospital my father was sent to Gardinia Court. He was sent to the first available place. We felt very lucky that he was sent there. The staff were so kind and caring and kept us up to date with how he was doing. I would highly recommend the home.

The managers of Gardenia Court and staff looked after Dad so well, I cannot recommend them highly enough. We visited the home regularly and there was always plenty of staff available to talk to if we needed to and we were grateful to have the offer of a tea or coffee. He was always clean and looked well cared for and the interaction between Dad and the staff was lovely to see. When Dad was able to enjoy his food it looked really tasty and smelt wonderful. His care at the end of life was wonderful and they kept us informed of his health at every stage. I would like to send my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the staff, using their skill, experience and compassion looked after Dad so well with kindness.

I was very pleased with the service provided to my father during his 9-month stay. The staff showed him care, compassion and understanding which is not always easy for someone approaching their 100th birthday. Thank you everyone at Gardenia and I am pleased to be able to recommend you to others.

My husband is always clean and very well cared for, the staff are always bringing around drinks for all the residents and biscuits which they all enjoy and they take great care and respect when dealing with everyone. The room he is in is always spotless and he washed and all his clothes and bedding are wonderful. He is happy there, they go above and beyond. If you have any worries, they are dealt with immediately.

My review relates to the incredible support that the manager and the team have given to me since my father's recent death. But also to the outstanding care and dedication they showed during the 10+ years for which he was a resident.

We viewed three nursing homes close to where he had lived for many years and we were seeking somewhere that felt homely and that felt right. The manager gave us a tour and her warmth and commitment to care for my father was honest and sincere. Her demeanour with my mother who has dementia was professional and kind, another reason to choose this home. The lounge and conservatory were light and airy, I loved the birds and three-legged cat also in residence and the ability to bring in my dog to visit. All the staff were kind and treated my father with dignity and compassion. The events manager included my father and he enjoyed the activities. I was very upset initially visiting my father, the cook noticed this and took time to check on me, she was another staff member who went above and beyond. My family were able to stay as long as we wanted to in his final days. We were looked after as well as he was, staff supported us with emotions. My heartfelt thanks to all of you.

After visiting several nursing homes near my father's house, we chose Gardenia Court. After first contact we were invited to view the establishment at our convenience. We were able to park easily at the front of the home. The manager's warm and caring manner reassured us that Dad would be very well looked after. The room looked nice and all the staff were friendly. Dad had a room with a garden view, he is registered partially sighted so the sound of the fountain and the birds singing, was nice for him. Every time we visited Dad, he was dressed appropriately for the time of day. He was cleanly shaved and his clothes were immaculately clean. The room always clean and tidy and the bed made up. The food is of a very high standard, Dad enjoyed it. We were always welcomed at any time of the day and offered refreshments. We stayed with Dad during his last 48 hours. The staff were so kind to us and chef even provided breakfast. Gardenia is very well managed - thank you all for being so caring.

The staff at Gardenia Court are all very caring and took great care of my Mother during the time she was there. I would say they went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy. The room was lovely and she had a view of the garden, and although it was winter she enjoyed looking at it.

The care and support both Mum and the family have received throughout the past 8 months has been exceptional under the skilled medical care of the staff and the dedication and tenderness of all the staff. Mum's condition was stabilised and improved and we were able to spend quality time with her that we didn't think we would have. Cooks, cleaner and all the staff became like friends and we miss them greatly. Two members of staff, in particular, are true stars - always honest, they have made the last few months of Mum's life dignified and peaceful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Having had experience with four different care homes over the last 5 years I can confidently say that Gardenia Court is by far the best for facilities, care and friendliness, the staff went out of their way to make my father feel at home and cared for. I had heard from other sources that GC was a cut above, and how right they were! Thanks to all the caring staff for everything they did to make my father's last years special.

My friend was admitted for end of life care. She was at Gardenia Court for approximately four weeks. I found the carers very helpful and was pleased that she had care until she passed away.

My father received kind, loving and respectful palliative care at Gardenia Court and I can not praise them highly enough. They made this extremely difficult time bearable knowing that dad was in caring hands. Thank you to the manager and all the staff.

Dad improved massively thanks to the continual support and care received. Regular updates were received during his time in the home. Very compassionate, understanding and kind. They adhered vehemently to all guidelines during Covid-19.

The staff at Gardenia Court are all very caring and took great care of my Mother during the time she was there. I would say they went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy.
