View Full Details of Fairview Court Care HomeOur mum has recently been moved to Fairview from hospital now needing 24 hour nursing care, prior to this mum has been a residential care home since 2017 The whole team from manager are outstanding, caring, and very respectful Mum has settled in great and is receiving the care she deserves
Fairview Court has a welcoming and homely feel. All the staff are brilliant. It is very clean and the facilities and food are excellent. Mum became a resident at the end of August having had a bad experience at her previous care home. The staff are kind, caring, patient and very welcoming to the residents and their families. Nothing is too much trouble and we are kept informed about mum's health and any concerns. Mum settled really quickly and we are secure in the knowledge that mum is safe, well looked after and receiving an excellent standard of care and support. At mum's previous home, she was actively discouraged from attempting to walk. Mum found this frustrating and upsetting. Since moving here mum is once again mobile and supported by the staff, who enable her to move freely around the home and has also been receiving physiotherapy. My family feel this is absolutely the best place for mum to be. We can't thank the staff enough for how they look after and care for her.
Our father initially came into Fairview Court for respite in March 2024. This is something which my sister and I both felt very anxious and unsure of our father settling in a care home environment. On our day of arrival, we were welcomed and greeted by a fantastic home manager and team who took their time with us. Our father is now a permanent resident and is settling in well. Every team member at Fairview Court is kind, caring and compassionate. Making sure our father's needs are met. As we now feel we are part of the Fairview Court Family.
A wonderful if but all be it too short a stay. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who took care of our dear Dad/Friend/Husband. You totally made a difference for us by being welcome polite warm and caring. You looked after us too! A lovely clean room, and kind caring staff, thank you so much.
My mother-in-law is 97 years old. She went in for the first time for a week's respite. She was very frightened and had been diagnosed with vascular dementia about two months ago. She had a visitor every day. When we went to pick her up a week later she said the staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough for her. After a few days, she got used to the routine and she said she wouldn't mind going back if required. I cannot praise all the staff there who helped her settle in.
So happy to see my mum being cared for and to see her smile. I feel very welcome when I visit, all staff are so friendly, caring and kind I would recommend this care home to anyone, it's a happy place.
My sister was admitted to Fairview Court on 2nd of August 2024. I had been to look at the home a couple of days earlier. My own impression of the home was really positive and when my sister arrived she was overwhelmed with the kindness of all staff and the high standard of everything in her room. She is very happy there and never fails to tell me how well she is being treated. Her partner visits her each day and is always treated with hospitality and kindness. All staff are caring and helpful and the manager always responds promptly to any questions or concerns. Excellent place. Thank you for all that is being done for my sister.
Our mum only lasted one night and was sent by ambulance to an unknown hospital. No chance to even get settled. Don't let your loved one stay here if they have vascular dementia as it seems they are unable to cope with this type of illness. There is hardly anyone around from 6 pm so expect to wait ages for anyone to answer the door if you are visiting.
Mum came to Fairview Court in January, initially for respite care. She settled in very well and decided she would like to become a permanent resident there. Without exception, the staff are so caring, friendly and very good at getting to know everyone as an individual so that they can tailor their care accordingly. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere there, it's a pleasure to visit and when I leave I know I have left mum in very capable hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fairview to anyone who needs residential care.
The home is like a real home, the food is good, very clean and tidy. Carers and nurses are exceptional. The care and support given to my father in his final months was above and beyond. Every time one of the nurses or carers went into his room his face would light up. They made sure he knew who was there by being close to him and holding his hand, talking to him in a gentle voice so as not to frighten him. Couldn't have asked for more.
Having never used this kind of service before, but following knee surgery by a friend, it was with some trepidation that I arrived. My arrival was so welcoming. people welcoming and looked after me. I had my bags unpacked and met some of the staff. Every aspect of my care was done with professionalism and friendliness, I thought I might have found the personal care embarrassing but everything was handled professionally and I felt totally at ease. The food was lovely and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, when I left the night staff stopped by to say goodbye. It was a home-from-home. Please extend my thanks to everyone concerned with my care. I cannot recommend your home more highly enough. Thank you very much.
The palliative care and compassion my auntie received in the very last stages of her life were second to none. I couldn't have wished for her to have been anywhere else. Everyone involved at a very difficult time were excellent. We couldn't be there as much as we would have liked but always knew she was in the safest hands. I would never fail to recommend the care home to anyone. Thank you so very much.
Excellent and caring staff. My aunt received palliative care her whole stay at Fairview Court, enabling her to spend the last few months in a lovely, caring environment. Cannot. fault. Would highly recommend it. From stepping in on the first day, we were always greeted by friendly staff. Always clean and fresh.
Wasn’t sure about Nan going into care, but seeing the love and care they gave her the first time I went was so reassuring, always welcomed the family any time of the day or night, and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending here to anyone! Thank you so much; the whole family would say the same! All the carers, nurses and owners really did care!
From the minute I stepped into Fairview - I knew that this would be the place where we would place my mum in her final weeks. The manager was very warm and welcoming and the reassurance relating to the care Mum would receive was outstanding. They definitely did not disappoint. The care was outstanding and nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond to ensure Mum's needs were met and they did so with such care and compassion. This allowed us as a family to spend quality time with Mum instead of worrying and being her carers, and this was vital for us in Mum's last days. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who is looking to place a loved one to consider this place as they were nothing short of amazing in every way.
After 6 years of looking after mum due to her dementia, due to safety reasons, I had to take one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. It was time to take mum to a care home. Fairview Court was really kind and understood mum and needs and my need to see mum in a safe enviroment with good and kind people. I was very reluctant to get mum in a care home, but the manager, seniors and carers have been amazing and so kind and professional that I don't have words to express my gratitude for being so good with mum and trying their best to understand and help her. Little by little, mum is settling, and I am a lot calmer knowing that she will be in safe hands. Thanks so much for your help and support.
My grandmother arrived at Fairview Court in February and received exceptional care throughout her stay. The staff demonstrated unwavering professionalism, genuine compassion, and a true commitment to her well-being. Knowing that my grandmother was in such capable hands brought immense peace of mind to our family. The cleanliness of the nursing home was always very good and it was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining the environment for the residents. The kitchen staff also deserve recognition for their varied and tasty menu. I must highlight the outstanding support provided by the team generally and particularly by the home manager. Her communication and helpful demeanour played a crucial role in choosing Fairview Court for my grandmother, and she was always readily available to address any questions or concerns we had.
My father was a resident at Fairview Court Care Home and I was always thoroughly impressed and grateful for their care and compassion towards both my father and my family for the three months he was a resident. Every single member of the team was super.
Excellent care for both mental and physical well-being. The management and staff are amazing, so friendly, welcoming and kind. The staff genuinely love their job and really do care about the residents. They have so much compassion and while always professional, they also have a personal touch with residents and family. I would highly recommend this home for anyone with dementia as Fairview Court is able to provide the level of care required.
I was very impressed by the excellent management, professionalism, compassion and care my mother received at Fairview Court. The environment is bright and cheerful and the staff were always happy to discuss what my mother had been doing since my last visit. With qualified experienced nurses and efficient care staff always on site I felt reassured that my mother was in good hands. I recommend this nursing home without reservation.
