My brother has been resident for over 18 months and in all that time the care offered has been second to none. Staff are wonderful. Cleanliness excellent. Catering superb. Always activities on offer for those who want to join in. Doctor has regular attendance. Medicines given spot on time. Regular hairdresser and foot care. I am very grateful to have my brother so well cared for.
My dad has been at Warmley House since October 2023. All the staff is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They keep us fully informed of my dad's condition. He is accompanied sometimes on his mobility scooter to buy his newspapers at the shop which he loves doing. They provided entertainment and arranged a singer and party for my dad's 90th birthday which was lovely. Thanks to all the staff at Warmley House.
We literally can not praise the staff and management at Warmley House enough. Our loved one spent his last year/months at Warmley house. His room was lovely and homely, clean and fresh. His care was amazing, he was kept clean and very very well cared for. He passed peacefully away on April 25th, he had two lovely members of staff with him at the time of passing. Thank you for everything.
Great home with very attentive staff. The home itself is well-kept, clean and fresh with no odour which is quite uncommon for a care home setting. The residents all look well looked after and cared for. You could see their individuality and own styles when it came to their clothing, it’s nice to see that maintained for them at Warmley House. They all looked happy and most were quite chatty amongst themselves and with us which was also lovely to see. The staff members were able to answer any questions asked about our aunt's care needs which was great and reassuring for us. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job, it was definitely noticed and appreciated.
My aunt has been a resident at Warmley House for a few months now after coming from another care home. Her treatment there has been second to none. The staff are extremely caring and she is treated with dignity. They are friendly and welcoming. Her room is lovely and bright with a big window and is furnished nicely. She is always clean and tidy and the staff are lovely. Each and every one of them no matter what their role, will take time to chat to my aunt and encourage her to talk. She is encouraged to take part in activities with the other residents. Everything has been put in place to ensure her safety. I am kept up to date with anything that happens however minor which I find very reassuring. I just wish I had found this home sooner, when she first went into the care system.
My dad was sent here in May 2023 by social services to Warmley House Care Home. He loved it, especially for all of the 24-hour care he received and the outstanding staff, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very clean and tidy, with plenty of activities. All staff are very, very friendly and caring. Sadly Dad passed away on the 14th of September. I would totally recommend Warmley House Care Home for anyone who needs looking after.
I cannot praise the staff and manager enough. Dad was well looked after by all staff (one member of staff in particular was a favourite), even the maintenance staff are so friendly. Dad enjoyed the food and when he could the activities. When Dad was on end-of-life care we were all treated with great care and support. We really couldn’t have asked for a better team. Many thanks to them all.
1. Was in a room next to the nurse station which was very loud. 2. Cleaners would vacuum at 6am. 3. Staff were lovely and caring. 4. Was kept in bed for breakfast so very hard to eat. 5. Was not left alone to use commode or offered to use bathroom. 6. Staff were easy to make connections and bonds with and took time to sit and listen to my concerns.
My mum was admitted as an assessment patient earlier this year who was very poorly. With the care and commitment from the staff she really has turned herself around. It seems nothing is to much trouble, which makes me reassured she is looked after well. She is treated with care and respect. The carers contact me if they have any concerns which is reassuring to me. I feel I can relax knowing Mum is well looked after. I would highly recommend Warmley House as a place of care, consideration, and respect, for all of our loved ones. A huge thank you to all of the team.
My Mum has been in Warmley House Care Home for the last 3 months on End of Life. She's been very happy there, the staff are very friendly, caring and kind, nothing is too much trouble. They have fun sessions every day, which the residents can choose to join in with. They also care about the resident's families. They keep us up to date with how Mum is and are always willing to answer any questions I have about Mum. Visiting is allowed throughout the day and evening. I feel very confident that Mum is being well cared for at this stage of her life.
Everyone I encountered at Warmley House was extremely helpful and understanding at a time when my mother's health was deteriorating. Unfortunately, Mum's stay at Warmley was short, but in that time Mum was looked after very well and with consideration at a time when she had to leave her home of over 50 years.
Notwithstanding the short stay nature of the arrangements, I am extremely thankful to all of the fantastic staff at Warmley House for the hard work they have put in, during what has been a difficult time, to ensure that Dad has the care that he needs and to understand him as a person who has reducing cognitive and physical ability and at times challenging behaviour. It’s not an easy job the carers have and I take my hat off to them. Thank you.
My nan was transferred to Warmley having had rehabilitation care at another home. It took us a while to find the right place. When I spoke to the administrator I felt very at ease. The speed at which Warmley worked was amazing. They took care of things before we knew we needed to take care of them. They liaised with Nan's social worker all the way through. When Nan arrived she was very apprehensive. She had to be quarantined for ten days to protect everyone at the home. During this time we were given regular updates on how she was settling in and were able to speak to her whenever. One day I had booked a FaceTime call with Nan and the activities team weren't in that day, so one of the management team called me from their own phone so I could still have the face to face with Nan. They arranged for her to have her hair done and took her to the communal area so she could speak to others. I couldn't recommend Warmley enough. The place and its staff are second to none.
My mother came from the hospital for assessment at Warmley House. After the assessment, it was decided that my mother should stay at Warmley House for continued care. The staff were always helpful to my mother. Mum was hard of hearing, eyesight was fading and mobility was near non-existent. So staff were all aware of these ailments and acted accordingly. Mum's meals always looked adequate and according to Mum, they were always hot and tasty. I was always informed by Warmley House, straight away, if there was any problem with Mum's health. This was reassuring, knowing if something changed I would be informed. As a regular visitor, until the latest Covid quarantine, I was always treated with above average respect and offered refreshments, if a member of staff had time. I think all the staff at Warmley House do an excellent job which has been more difficult since Covid. Thank you.
Warmley House is a lovely friendly care home, with very attentive staff who made my grandmother feel very welcomed. The staff would take the time to talk with my grandmother and make sure everything was okay during her visit. The staff were always really friendly when myself and my daughter visited.
It is a nice place to be in but can be lonely at times.
Helpful, friendly and reassuring. Keeping me fully updated.
My Dad lived in Warmley House Care Home for well over three years until his recent passing. During that time he received kind an attentive care and as he suffered from dementia he could be challenging at times. However staff showed genuine kindness and affection for him and he was well looked after. Medical help was promptly sought when he was unwell and I was kept well informed of any issues. I was always welcomed when I visited and the staff deserve praise for how well they kept residents protected during the Covid pandemic.
The quality of care my Mum has received has been outstanding, she was always afraid to go into care, but now loves it! The staff are patient and professional with their dealings both with my mother (the service user) and myself when I telephone or visit. She loves that they both take her to lunch with other service users and really enjoys the food. The manager has also been patient and professional with her dealing with myself as we transition from a hospital bed to a care home for my mother. She has often managed to book me in to see my Mum when it was quite difficult for her. An outstanding care home my mother and I would say!
