View Full Details of Eastleigh Care Homes (East Street)Mum has been an Eastleigh resident for just over a year she is happy and content enjoys the activities and outings. She is always clean and tidy, and I have no worries as I know she is well looked after. The staff always make me welcome they are helpful and friendly always. The home is warm, comfortable, clean with very nice decor. We appreciate all the staff input and support they have given us as a family.
Well, what can I say? The staff are all wonderful in every way. They go above and beyond their duty of care. The building itself is very welcoming and has a feel of calm.
Always welcomed with a smile by any staff I encounter on my visit. Always offered a cup of tea whilst I sit with my mum. Mum is always clean and tidy, she is always treated with dignity and the staff are very aware of her needs. I am more than happy that my mum lives at such a caring place.
My experience after 7 years with a relative in care at Eastleigh Care Home. The staff are always helpful and have a positive attitude if there is a problem it will be addressed and resolved. The home itself is very welcoming to visitors with good activities available for those who wish to join in. There is genuinely a sense that all who work there care about the residents and their families.
The staff at Eastleigh Care Home, from the top lady to the cleaners, show great understanding of the needs of elderly and mentally infirm people. They have the kindness and patience of a saint, which obviously reflects their training. There is a cohesive atmosphere where everyone seems to be working from the same hymn sheet! They are friendly and helpful to each other as well as the residents. It has a family atmosphere. Activities are numerous and varied and the care staff seem to enjoy and enthuse even the most disabled to join in. As a frequent visitor to my husband, I too am treated with respect and dignity, yes, even love. Have made many friends of residents and families, which Eastleigh encourages. In many institutions, items 'go missing'.
Since my brother has been admitted in September of 2023 as a resident at Eastleigh we have all been overwhelmed by the welcome care and kindness from all the team. My brother is so happy and we are so relieved to see how well he has settled in. It is truly a home-from-home in the very best one would wish for. God Bless them all.
Moving my mother to a care home was a difficult decision for my brother and me. She was already in her 90s. My mother has now been a resident at the Eastleigh Care Home for over two years. She is well, happy, and has flourished. She has gained weight and enjoys the activities. She is settled and enjoys life. The care staff are kind, and known to me by name - her individual idiosyncrasies are catered for and physically she is well looked after. All care staff are professionals and I am kept updated on any issues relating to Mum’s health. Thank you to the two members of staff reception who are worthy of a particular mention. I live a couple of hundred miles away and still work so visits are not as frequent as I would like however, a member of staff arranges a weekly video call so that Mum and I can chat and laugh together. The video calls, supplemented by my brother's visits, are invaluable and have made the whole set-up work for us as a family. Overall, I feel the care given at Eastleigh is exceptional.
At Eastleigh Care Home, over the past year, my husband has been treated with kindness, politeness, care and respect. He acknowledges that the staff listen to him and takes time to get to know him. They are willing to continue to encourage him to take part in activities, despite the fact that the answer is generally negative. As a visitor to the home, I have always received a warm welcome and the caring staff will take time to say hello and also make me feel very welcome.
My husband has been at Eastleigh for 6 months and has been treated with great care and kindness. His wishes are respected and every help extended to make his life as comfortable and happy as possible. I can't praise the staff enough, they work so hard and are always so cheerful. I am made to feel welcome when I visit and communicated with when needed. I can return home knowing he is safe and really well cared for.
Both my parents were residents at Eastleigh Care Home, my father for 3 months, my mother for five years. Throughout their time there they were treated with kindness, care and respect with their wishes and dignity always born in mind. Their end of life treatment was carried out with great care and compassion. The staff communicated with us regularly and when needed and always welcomed us when we visited.
At Eastleigh you can leave your relative in confidence they will look after them well. The staff are caring, good at their jobs and cheerful!
