View Full Details of Dove Tree HouseI feel that Dove Tree House are proactive in their work with my dad. When I ring in I always feel listened to. If there is something that can't be sorted in one phone call, I have always had a recall. The home is clean and in a good state of repairs. There are activities each week which are varied to try and suit all the residents needs. Dad enjoys his food and says its good. Dad loved his sport and it would be nice if he could have sports channels on his TV in his room. Would be nice if he could have some trips out in the minibus Dove Tree has use of. This would be good for mental health.
I visited a lady who I used to support in her own home, recently she was moved into Dove Tree House. I can say that since moving here she is a different person. I found her smiling laughing enjoying life rather than feeling excluded as she used to be. She was telling me about all the games that the residents/staff do. Although she is not my family I believe she is finally happy. Thank you.
The care home always gives you a warm welcome when you visit it dos not matter whoever opens the door it is always a friendly smile. l have always found the staff caring and loving to the residents they go above and beyond what they need to do. It stems right from the Manger, Deputy Manager right down to the care workers. Praise should also go to the cleaners as the home is always very clean. The activities they do with the residents is very good and varied. At meal times they always get a varied menu.
Friendly and always helpful staff.
Lovely care home, clean and bright. Caring and responsive staff. Efficient deputy manager (not had much contact with manager yet).
My brother has been at Dove Tree House for over three years and has always been treated with kindness and patience. I recommend Dove Tree House.
I'm extremely happy with the care my mother, who has Alzheimer's/dementia, has received in the last few months. The staff and management are kind, caring, understanding and always helpful. I feel confident that my mum is loved and cared for, the home has a very warm and friendly, fun atmosphere.
We couldn't be any happier with our experience with Dove Tree House. The staff have all been amazing and our mum is very happy there. The assistant manager has been outstanding with is help and support with Mum entering the home. All the staff we have met and have helped with our mum have all been outstanding. Our mum is very happy and settled which is a huge relief for us, her children.
Dove Tree House is very welcoming, clean, well-decorated with a good garden for better weather. Staff are friendly and attentive. A good, varied menu. My relative is settled and well cared for, with activities for movement etc. Overall, all very good.
Very happy with Mum's care.
This was her first stay in a care home and as such a strange experience for her. The thing that stood out for us was the genuine care and concern shown by all the staff and management. When she arrived she was very confused when she left the confusion had gone.
Our dad was with Dove Tree House for only six weeks, but he was loved, cared for, and supported wonderfully during this time. As a family, we could not or would not have wanted him to be anywhere else. We too experienced nothing but kindness and support from everyone at Dove Tree House. The management and staff are brilliant.
My brother is well cared for and is very happy with the staff, they are kind and helpful.
My dad, who is blind, has been very happy at Dovetree House over the last 18 months where he is well looked after. Staff are pleasant and helpful. I have noticed significant improvements in the service offered in the last few months.
Mum had been a resident of Dove Tree since June 2016. She had dementia and this not only impacted her memory but her mobility as well. The Dove Tree team were amazing with Mum and the other residents from food choice to their care, to activities, to the lovely garden and visitor pod they developed during Covid which is now used when the hairdresser visits. The team kept us informed of how Mum was doing and notified us of anything we needed to know - it was like having an extended family. Sadly Mum passed away in January but even that super sad event was made easier by Dove Tree. They cared for Mum so well and looked after us! In mums final days, she was never alone when we weren’t with her and I can’t tell you how comforting it was to turn up in the morning or after nipping out to get a quick bite to eat, to come back and see one of the team sat with her. I will never forget it or them. I can’t speak highly enough of Dove Tree and its wonderful team (past and present).
So glad we found Dove Tree House for my brother. He has been cared for to the highest standard and treated with dignity. The home is clean and tidy and everyone is happy and smiling, staff and residents, which says a lot to me. Thank you to the manager and her staff for taking control and the weight from our shoulders, we know he is safe now and receiving the care and nursing he needs to keep him comfortable.
Excellent care given and a clean and friendly environment. The clients are always kept clean and the food is good too. The downside is things go missing so my advice would be don’t take good clothes or valuables. The client I’m talking about had loads of toiletries go missing, his wallet with £60 and a brand new pair of trousers less than two weeks old with labels still on.
I have always found all the staff to be welcoming and very caring with my elderly mum. An essential quality for a good care home. And they always find time to talk to me about any issues that may crop up. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dove Tree House to anyone that asks me.
My mother has been a resident at Dove Tree for over 13 years now and has always been very happy there. Over the last year she has developed some fairly major health problems which are still ongoing. The level of care that mum has received and is still receiving has been incredible. I have been so impressed. I cannot praise the staff enough for their professionalism, and the way that they go above and beyond by doing ‘that little bit extra.’ The manageress clearly cares very deeply about the residents and is always available to talk to. Mum's care instructions are clearly laid out and are easy to follow while her room is clean, light and airy as is the whole home. The home is supported by a large team of professionals i.e. doctor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist and social worker, not to mention a whole team of district nurses, who have also helped my mum immensely. I can honestly say that if ever I had to choose a residential home for myself, it would be a Dove Tree.
After my husband had a tumble out of bed the care he received afterwards was brilliant from one particular lady. The next day she cared for him again and even rang me to update me on his progress which I found really touching as previously I had to ring up asking for information.
