View Full Details of Highcliffe Nursing HomeThe care my husband receives is outstanding. His needs are met with empathy and understanding. The quality of service we both receive here is exceptional, all the staff are and friendly and are a credit to the company. My thanks to them all.
I would not hesitate to recommend Highcliffe Nursing Home, they are professional, friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble for either the residents or the relatives. They even helped out when we had to adopt a little undercover work with the laundry and my mum never realised! We were so lucky my mum stayed at this nursing home, do not hesitate.
My mum is very happy and content in the Highcliffe Nursing Home, she has a good routine, she loves the food, which is always of the highest standard. She enjoys all the activities, which are thoughtfully planned. The staff are very supportive and friendly to my mum and the whole family. I thoroughly recommend it.
Before my husband decided to stay I was here for a little over a month. I was very pleased and reassured that he would be happy here and I was proved right.
It's very organised and well run. The staff work very hard and in the main manage to be friendly and patient to both residents and their visiting friends and relatives. It has very pleasant and homely atmosphere which I know my mum appreciates and I know she is being well looked after. The activities team are especially excellent and let residents know what is going on in the lounge which is priceless.
All the staff are very helpful, patient, and gentle with the residents and friendly to me. The home is always clean and meals are good and well presented. I go in regularly and would certainly recommend this home.
Originally planned for a 4-week respite break but due to ongoing medical issues had to extend it to 12 weeks. The staff were very understanding and were happy to keep extending the care while my wife recovered from her illness. My father soon settled in and enjoyed his stay (He has early dementia). His room was lovely with an en-suite shower room. The staff were very happy and cheerful and always willing to help with any requests. Will use it again for respite care if necessary.
Highcliffe Nursing home is a wonderful place where the staff embrace you as part of their family. The attention to detail is second to none. Staying there is like being enveloped in a beautifully soft, fluffy cushion, whilst being smothered in love and care. Who could ask for more.
My husband who died recently was a resident at Highcliffe Nursing Home for about five and a half years. He was well cared for in every way. Unlike the previous home he was in, he never asked when he was coming home, and was always smiling, clean and well-fed. I visited the home regularly and only ever saw residents treated with respect and kindness.
I am a carer for a resident at this lovely care home, I come every Friday and take him out for lunch. Every time I have visited I have noticed just how lovely the staff (carers, nurses, care coordinators and admin/reception) are, not only to me but especially to the residents. The way they speak to them is so very gentle and kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who is looking for somewhere for a family member.
My mother was only in Highcliffe for just over 4 weeks before she died. In that time she was very well looked after. The staff are very helpful and support the family throughout the process. Out of a number of care homes we visited when we entered Highcliffe we knew this was the one for our mother. Unfortunately Mum was not fit enough to make use of a number of the activities this care home offers its residents. I would recommend Highcliffe to anyone looking for a care home.
I wanted to share with you my experience of Highcliffe Nursing Home now that Mum has been a resident for over a year. Firstly, facing a very daunting and difficult decision to place Mum in a home our top priority was to find somewhere that would best suit her needs. Having visited several in the local area which were not suitable we came across Highcliffe. The moment we stepped inside it felt right. The positive atmosphere and friendly nature of all the staff was just what we were looking for. The home is very attentive to her needs and she has settled into a routine very well. The daily activities and outings keep her engaged, which is beneficial for her progressing dementia. Overall I am very satisfied that she could not be in a better home and would thoroughly recommend them should you be looking for accommodation for your loved one. Many thanks to the staff at Highcliffe Nursing Home for their continued support.
A fantastic home, with incredibly welcoming and warm staff. The onsite team are amazing and only have the care and comfort of the clients at the forefront of their minds. I would recommend Highcliffe to anyone looking for a nursing home.
What's the point if you are unable to voice your concerns? Very disappointed with the phone calls regarding my relative accusing me of upsetting her every time I call. I was told the home has responsibility for her care but seriously I'm her family! Recorded the calls I have received regarding the accusations and seeking professional advice. I was effectively told to lie or exaggerate the truth. Is that right?
As usual, we are really happy with his care. All the staff are lovely with him, from the carers, housekeeping, activities and even the maintenance man! We never have to worry about him. If he has to be ”in care”, Highcliffe is the best possible place for him to be!
For the last year, we have been visiting a long-term friend and have always been delighted by all aspects of your nursing home. Your staff are amazing and your property is always warm and clean and we have been most impressed by the afternoon shows.
I moved Mum into Highcliffe Nursing as Mum had been in hospital for several weeks due to a fall at home. Not knowing anything about nursing homes and the daunting prospect of finding the right one, I needed to be sure I did my due diligence to find one that suited Mum. The minute I walked through the door I felt immediately at home due the the warm nature of the staff and because of its wonderful surroundings. The staff had done their in-depth research on Mum, they knew everything about her and how to care for her too. As soon as I had the opportunity I moved mum in straightaway. She loved it even though her time there was short. Mum very quickly got used to the home and she made a short time of getting to know the kind staff and the residents too. The care, attention and kindness Mum received throughout her stay was first class. Highcliffe Nursing Home is somewhere I would have no hesitation in recommending.
Mum spent the last two weeks of her life at Highcliffe Nursing Home. We are so grateful to all the lovely, friendly staff who looked after her. She always looked so well cared for and comfortable. Highcliffe Nursing Home has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Mum’s room was a good size and always very clean. The laundry service was amazing. Mum’s end-of-life care was outstanding. So professional, given with such kindness and compassion. Thank you, I highly recommend this nursing home.
My mother had to be moved from her previous care home to Highcliffe. We have been so impressed by all aspects of the home, the friendliness, care, sense of fun and camaraderie of the staff and the residents alike. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and my requests/queries are handled quickly and with excellent feedback. I have nothing but praise for the staff who have welcomed Mum with open arms and I look forward to attending the amazing events that have been arranged for the residents. A huge big thank you!
Excellent room size, furnishings and bathroom. Kind, efficient and professional staff, everyone I met. Mum said food was good although most had to be mashed so she could eat it. Mum was always treated with dignity and we were always very confident about her care.
