View Full Details of Brunswick House Nursing HomeAll the staff team and manager were very helpful, caring and supportive to my Dad and our family at a very difficult time. Their respect for our needs on Dad's final day was exemplary, ensuring peace and tranquility for all of our family. Thank you all so very much for caring for Dad and us and for joining us at his funeral too.
I could not have got a better care home for my mother. The staff was so caring and loving, it was like it was their mother. They could not do enough for my mum. The room was lovely my mother was very fussy about her food, but she said the food was lovely. I dreaded putting my mum in a home as she never wanted to leave her house and never go into a care home. She came out of hospital and we put her in Brunswick house and she loved it there. She has now died but I know the last 6 months of her life were made infinitely better being in this care home. Thank you to all the staff.
My mum needed emergency care, following a discharge from hospital. We really needed to find a safe place for my mum to recover from a major operation and Brunswick House Nursing Home provided this support. The nurses were really proactive in her care, arranging blood tests and pain relief, the carers were very kind, the management team was very supportive and the food was fantastic. Thank you.
My 85-year-old aunt, who suffered a stroke two years ago, has been living at Brunswick House for the past 18 months, and I couldn't be happier with the care. The staff at Brunswick House can be truly exceptional. They're always friendly, compassionate, and attentive. The nursing team have been incredibly skilled and patient. The management is also top-notch. They have created a positive and supportive environment for staff, residents and their families. I have witnessed first-hand the management's support for all. There is a real sense of community that exists among the residents. My aunt enjoys the interaction with the care team from nurses to the cleaning and catering teams. Overall, I can't speak highly enough about Brunswick House. It's a wonderful place where my aunt feels safe, loved, and cared for. If u need a caring and supportive environment for an elderly loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend Brunswick House.
Brunswick House is a wonderful nursing home. The manager leads by example, she models a caring and professional attitude that filters down to all staff who display compassion, respect and offer wonderful care.
Brunswick House was complete heaven for my husband in the last stages of his life with dementia. He was included in all activities each day. I couldn't ask for better care. The manager and all the staff were wonderful and worked as a team, sharing all aspects of his care with me. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt included in their family like all the other residents. I still go back and visit even though it's over 12 months ago. I would put my name down to go there if I could!
Mother was transferred early morning to Brunswick House Nursing Home from hospital. The staff were fantastic at settling Mother to her new accommodation, they made her feel safe and less stressed. All of the staff took the time to introduce themselves to Mother and also to find out about us, her family. They explained the workings of the home and took time to understand Mother's needs. The priest came and introduced himself to Mother and they said a prayer together. You could see the stress and anxiety lift from Mother's face. I left feeling confident that the staff would keep Mother safe and make her stay at Brunswick a happy one. Thank you to the team at Brunswick House.
My husband and I cannot thank all the staff and managers enough for the welcome you gave us and my mother-in-law who is now a resident at Brunswick House. Nothing has been too much trouble from picking a room to labelling Mum's clothes. It has been a long and hard journey for us as a family to get where we are today and you all made this last step so easy. Everyone has been very kind and friendly. Massive thank you.
My mother was 97 years old and in the later stages of dementia. The staff and nursing care were very good with many going above and beyond to help maintain her with great dignity. The room was beautiful and maintained daily. The food was plentiful and well-cooked. The nursing care in her final days was determined and caring. The you; you all did a wonderful job.
Brunswick House Nursing Home is an absolutely beautiful, lovely home, the staff are just so amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them and the care they give is outstanding. The manager is so loving and caring and nothing is ever too much trouble for her, you always see her work the floor alongside her care staff. This home gives 200 per cent to their residents and their families, this is why my family chose for my aunt to spend her final months there. I would highly recommend this nursing home 200 per cent.
All staff are welcoming, polite and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and any query is sorted instantly. Mum's room is always clean and smell-free. Mum is always happy with all the food and drinks she is given, and says "they look after me so well here". She wears clean clothes every day, and her hair is washed weekly. She now accepts the personal care and toileting she needs on a daily basis. It's just so homely. Thank you so much for all your care!
Staff excellent, typified by this meeting with family of residents being asked for what they like and dislike about the home.
Brunswick House Nursing Home has been my sister-in-law's home for three years now. Staff and managers have been very friendly and looked after her well. She will soon be celebrating her 94th birthday with the other guests at this home.
Found staff helpful, respectful and caring.
Mum has lived here for several months. This home is well managed with great staff who go above and beyond to make residents (and visitors) feel welcomed and comfortable. They hold regular events e.g singing sessions, music quizzes and the latest event the Christmas fayre was well supported. This is a great home with exceptional staff. Thank you for all you do.
My mum was in Brunswick House Nursing Home for two weeks of respite care. The home itself was light, airy and very pleasant. Not dark and dingy. The thing that made this home special was the staff. All were so helpful, kind, approachable, professional and cheerful. The place was spotlessly clean. The meals were homemade and looked delicious. I have past experience of other care homes - this one was far superior. Thank you to all.
My wife is currently in Brunswick House, Reservoir Road Gloucester, and the service we receive from all staff there is absolutely first class at all times. Nothing seems too much trouble for any of them at any time. I'd recommend this home to everyone. Enjoy.
Cannot speak more highly of the treatment in Brunswick House Nursing Home. We were treated so well from day one. My husband was given the best treatment ever.
A good, well-run care home for advanced dementia. My brother came to this home after a 6-month hospital stay. He stayed for 4 months. He was very well cared for and, for the most part, enjoyed his time there, especially the friendly, kind and caring staff. However, social services felt he was too young (78) for this environment as there was little motivation to get him up and dressed every day. He mostly just lay in bed, lacking stimulation.
I am very happy sitting in the conservatory, having had a roast lunch and apple crumble and custard. Fives stars, it was delicious. Everyone there is so kind and I feel part of the community. I only moved here in February and am very pleased I've been accepted and everything's worked out well. I am pleased and happy to be here.
