View Full Details of Eastleigh Care Homes (Minehead)My mum came into care following a week in hospital. Until then she had some assistance and she had spend lockdown and a couple of years confined in her home. Mum has been in your care for one month and now she is walking further, and more upright and I can see a general improvement to her mobility and well being because she joins all the activities.
My sister has been a long term resident of Eastleigh. My sister has received consistently good care, and it is obvious that the care team enjoy looked after her. As her guardian I have also especially been given help and support. During the COVID pandemic my sister was given excellent care. Thank you!
My wife has been a resident at Eastleigh for around the last 15 months and in that time I can only give the home and their highly trained staff the highest praise for the excellent care that she receives. All of her needs both medical and personal are carry out with the upmost care, compassion and dignity making her feel like an individual person not just a number. The excellent staff at Eastleigh not only care for my wife but also make time to talk to me making sure that I am also okay. The team at Eastleigh go the extra mile and give me total peace of mind in that I know she getting the best care that is available.
The care my dad has is excellent since being at Eastleigh. The staff are respectful and keep dad safe and all his needs are met. Very well run by all the team. Good communication with family from staff. Would recommend Eastleigh to other families who need professional care for a loved one.
Dad became a resident in late September 2024. When my brother and I looked at the room that was available we knew that this was the place for him. Dad was transferred to Eastleigh from a local hospital, on end of life care. During his time there, the staff and management nursed Dad with love, care respect and dignity, and they also showed us as a family the same, nothing was too much trouble and answered any questions we asked. No words can really express the sincere gratitude we have for everyone at Eastleigh, and we know that Dad spent his final months surrounded by angels that truly cared for him. Should anyone find themselves in the position we were, we cannot recommend Eastleigh Care Homes high enough.
From the first time we met the manager, our minds were put at rest that dad would be well looked after and this has been so true. He is on end of life and all the staff show great care and compassion towards dad and they are friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we are kept informed of anything that changes. We can walk away after visiting dad knowing that he is being well looked after with a high standard of care which is a comfort to us all.
I cannot thank the staff at Eastleigh Care Home in Minehead enough for the exceptional care they provide for my uncle. We are so grateful he was able to stay in his home town, making it easy for my aunt to visit regularly. The staff are incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, and it is clear they truly care about the residents. It's a huge relief to know he is in such good hands, and I would highly recommend Eastleigh to anyone looking for a compassionate and supportive care home.
Since my husband was admitted he has become much calmer and more settled. He seems to appreciate the fact that this is where he belongs. The staff are always so helpful when we visit and he has a good rapport with all of them. Eastleigh seems to have a happy atmosphere with care staff and management which is very noticeable.
I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for Eastleigh Care Home in Minehead. My cousin has been a resident there since 2022, and although I live in Hampshire and can't visit often, I am consistently impressed by the care and attention provided. Each time I visit, I am welcomed by the incredibly kind and dedicated staff. The management team always takes the time to chat with me, ensuring I am updated on my cousin's well-being and addressing any questions I might have. Their commitment to communication and transparency is truly commendable. The monthly newsletters are a wonderful touch, keeping me informed about the various activities and events happening at the home. I also love seeing all the lovely photos on their social media page, which offer a glimpse into the engaging environment they create for the residents. I cannot fault Eastleigh Care Home in any way. Their exceptional care and genuine compassion provide immense peace of mind, knowing my cousin is in such good hands.
Since my sister-in-law has gone into care at Eastleigh Care Home. A lot of time has been taken to find her the right medication, time and patience, to work out what makes her happy, sad, and angry. Now it is like the scales have been lifted from her eyes and she has a new life! She still has her moments due to her illness but she is joining in what goes on around her. She has a quality of life she has not had for a very long time! Well done Eastleigh and thank you.
My Dad was a resident in Eastleigh Care Home, I have nothing but praise for this care home. Dad suffered from dementia and later on from prostate cancer the care was amazing. Always welcomed me and Mum with tea and biscuits. Every time we went to visit Dad we would find him singing and spotless this made me and Mum very happy to think he was well cared for I wouldn’t hesitate to use this care home again. Sadly Dad has passed now but I have comfort knowing he spent his last few years happy and in safe hands so thank you Eastleigh Care Home.
Really amazing friendly staff, they are fab, I can’t fault them. Nothing is ever too much trouble day or night, they really go out of their way to make it right. The food is really great every day, variety, presentation etc and the Christmas dinner was simply outstanding. My clothes are clean, returned well presented and the environment is always well presented and clean. I need physio and the Eastleigh team have helped me access it and keep up my exercises, and the improvements are remarkable. It’s the best treatment I have ever had in any healthcare setting across all areas. Everyone approaches everything with a smile and a sense of humour which makes living here so special!
My mum has been a resident for around a year and a half and although it was a bad start adjusting to her needs the staff have got to know her and work with her to support her changing needs. There are areas like in all care homes that need more attention at times such as the food could be hotter, shortage of pads, clothes going missing when washed and more activities offered to those that need a wheelchair vehicle as I feel this could be better. Weekends are sometimes an issue but the staff do try their best to resolve the problems that arise. However, overall the staff and management do try their best and the rooms are very nice. We are lucky as we live close but I would trust the staff to look after my mum really well if we weren't. Nothing is too much trouble if you ask staff and make them aware of individuals' likes and dislikes.
I have had numerous family members reside at this home, and they have all received outstanding care. The home itself is maintained to a high standard, and the gardens are beautiful, with views reaching over North Hill and the sea.
