View Full Details of The Rosary Nursing HomeWe thought that the dinner was very nice we had a great day, thanks, what more do you want us to say? Mum looked very good. Tell the member of staff on the front door to cheer up, very rude, looks like she didn't want to be there, everyone else was absolutely fantastic. Great day, many thanks.
I would just like to say what a wonderful afternoon my sister, auntie and I had with my lovely mum at the Christmas dinner, such lovely food and attentive staff, thank you all so much for giving us that time to have that special meal together.
We had an excellent Xmas lunch with my husband on the 11th, a lovely friendly atmosphere. Full of admiration for the staff and very much appreciate their hard work. Well done, especially to the chef and kitchen staff producing so many excellent meals!!
I cannot recommend The Rosary Nursing Home highly enough! From the moment my mum arrived, it was clear this is not just a care facility but a true home where residents are treated with dignity, kindness and respect. The staff are compassionate, attentive and always go the extra mile to ensure every resident feels comfortable and valued. They took the time to learn my mum's preferences and quirks, greatly enhancing her quality of life. The facilities are clean, welcoming and designed with comfort and safety in mind, offering everything from a beautiful garden to cosy communal areas. The meals are nutritious, delicious and tailored to dietary needs. My mum loves the meals. To anyone seeking exceptional care with dignity and joy, I wholeheartedly recommend The Rosary. A helpful tip: label all clothing, as items may get mixed up. Clip-on name tags are a great solution. Thank you to the entire team for bringing peace of mind for me and happiness to my mum's life.
The Rosary Nursing Home is lovely and friendly. They look after my mum very well and she is happy in their care. Myself and Dad had Christmas lunch today which was lovely and such a nice thing to do to be able to spend it with Mum. My family and I would like to thank the staff for all their hard work and dedication for looking after Mum.
Had an amazing day today, spent a Christmas meal today with Mum thanks to all the members of staff, another wonderful year spent again with Mum. We had a lovely Christmas meal for 2023 last year and this year, 2024, you all work very hard all year around.
Lovely Christmas lunch for the residents and family, although Mum wasn't herself today, I think she enjoyed it. She really enjoys going every week to having her hair permed/washed andblow-dried. Thank you.
Just spent lunch with Mum for the family Christmas meal. Credit goes to everyone involved with the organisation. The food was exceptional. It was a lovely time... and Mum won lots on the raffle. Thank you to everyone.
The Christmas lunch was very well-organised and absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much to all involved. It was very much appreciated by myself and from the atmosphere in the dining room, it was enjoyed by everyone.
My mother was originally in another home but did not receive the care we expected so we moved her to The Rosary. The difference in mum's care has been very noticeable. She is now receiving her proper medication and is no longer in pain. She is always clean, dressed nicely and is obviously eating properly because she has put on weight. We visit twice a week and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. It's never easy putting a relative into a nursing home but we are confident that mum is now being properly cared for.
My Mum has been at The Rosary for over 12 months now and her needs are always responded to quickly and appropriately. The staff there are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I am so glad we, as a family, chose The Rosary for my Mum's care.
My brother has been in the Rosary for fifteen months. The standard of his care is excellent and he is well looked after by all staff there who are friendly and helpful. He enjoys his time there and joins in the activities.
The manager and her staff at The Rosary are so good with Dad and the family. We enjoy our visits very much and are made to feel very welcome and kept up to date with Dad's care. After being in a community hospital prior to the care home where he was not settled at all and acting very disturbed, he is so happy and relaxed and is getting the best of care. Thank you all for an amazing job and for keeping smiling even when in difficult situations. Also the activities programme is so wonderful and love seeing the pics of all the happy faces.
An excellent place for my father, everyone is so professional, friendly and helpful. I am happy he is being so well looked after.
I am extremely satisfied with the care and attention given to my mother. The staff are very aware of Mum's needs and they treat her with kindness and dignity.
My husband settled into The Rosary quite well. Staff are pleasant, kind and caring and food appears very good. He was moved to a nicer room with French windows so they can be opened in decent weather so he can have some fresh air. Would be helpful to have a small ramp from the French doors though, as sometimes I take him outside and I have to ask a staff member to help me lift his wheelchair over the bottom doorframe.
Brilliant place.
A very lovely home. The staff are always extremely friendly and always happy to go above and beyond. A great environment to be in.
My mother is happy and settled and her health has improved recently. She is well cared for likes talking with the staff and enjoys the food. she feels the shower room is a long distance from her room and the water takes quite a time to heat up - we understand this is a feature of an old building!
I live at the home and have lived here for three months and have no complaints.
