View Full Details of Brendoncare FroxfieldI feel my mother is safe and well cared for. She is warm and has access to all she needs - even if she doesn't use the TV! Her room is comfy, thought the wardrobe has a rather dilapidated air. Otherwise it is hard to know what more you could be doing to help her.
I would like to say that the support everyone gives my mother is outstanding. She is well looked after and I am appreciative of all the help I get from the home. Congratulations to management and their team for the love they show.
My husband was transferred from hospital to Brendoncare Froxfield as he had specified that he didn't want to pass away in hospital. I am so grateful to them for accepting him. Unfortunately, I had a particularly bad cold and I didn't want to take my germs into the home so I wasn't able to visit on the Friday night. The manager kept me informed about his condition on Friday and by Saturday morning, I received a call from the most amazing senior nurse who informed me that his condition had deteriorated significantly and that I needed to be there. My parents went in first as they were closer and I arrived shortly after. The whole team were absolutely fantastic during his last few hours, treating him and my family and me with dignity, respect and genuine kindness. My heartfelt thanks to the senior nurse, the manager and the team for making his passing pain-free and peaceful. Not only did they care for my husband, they looked after me and my family in the aftermath. Thank you all!
My wife is in the advanced stages of dementia yet still the lovely staff can still raise a smile from her. It is the best place for her.
My wife has been in Brendoncare for over a year now. My family and myself are delighted with the kind care and attention given, I get on very well with the staff and I am always made very welcome. I would recommend Brendoncare to anyone!
I have to say that the support for my mother in law continues to be excellent. All the staff are fantastically enthusiastic - and great to see how this positively affects her. I really believe finding this great home when we did was a blessing!
A year ago, it became evident that our lovely mum, fiercely independent and determined never to leave her beautiful home, could no longer manage by herself. In our search for the 'perfect' home, we were recommended Brendoncare, Froxfield. The moment we walked in the door, we could imagine Mum there. The warm, friendly welcome we received from all the staff, the cheerful and relaxed atmosphere plus the clean, comfortable and well-equipped rooms all set in a peaceful and beautiful location, all helped with our decision. A year later, Mum is as settled as she could ever be, and we are impressed with the care and support received so far. Communication is good, managers and staff show compassion and respect, and the nursing care is very professional. The carers and nurses, endlessly empathetic, patient and kind, always have time for us. We also appreciate the camaraderie and sense of fun but, most importantly, Mum feels safe, loved and comfortable, and we believe she is in very good hands.
Five years ago, I visited Brendoncare Froxfield Care Home, I was very impressed with the kindness and patience of the staff. Since then, my husband has found himself in Froxfield. I could not be more pleased as he is very content as there are many he can react with as he is a people-person. He is very well looked after and there are many people coming and going which he loves. Also, he loves the delicious meals.
My wife has been resident in Brendoncare Froxfield since July 2022 and she has been very well looked after throughout this time. She has advanced dementia and is immobile so she requires full-time nursing care. All those who work at Brendoncare Froxfield are very kind and caring and I have been most impressed by them all and by the atmosphere in the care home.
My lovely mother had excellent, compassionate, professional and timely care. Both nursing and care staff are superb. Brendoncare, Froxfield, is very well managed and I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.
Always warmly greeted when I arrive, health and safety rules are always strictly observed. My friend's room always looks tidy. She is always dressed smartly. Staff are always happy.
Always welcoming. Caring for others. Bright and breezy. Time for residents and visitors.
My mother had got to the stage with Alzheimer's where she could do almost nothing for herself during the last 9 months of her life aged 95. Brendoncare provided the most expert and compassionate nursing care throughout that period. They tried their hardest to find out my mothers wishes and they welcomed us as visitors to the outside window as best they could during Covid19 in a very professional and kind manner. It is hard to think of anything better that could have been said or done. The nurses were obviously devoted to giving all the patients the best possible care and attention and good value for the monthly fees being paid. There is great love and concern throughout the nursing home and attention to detail. My mother's surroundings in her room were very functional and attractive. Her food was good. Her sense of humour did not cease and she liked the quiet surroundings. Brendoncare is thoroughly to be recommended.
My mother was a resident at the care home with terminal cancer. Unfortunately, her stay was short as she deteriorated quite suddenly. The carers were so nice, did the best they could to ease her pain and make her stay as comfortable as possible. She was treated with dignity and compassion and our family were also helped with kind words and cups of tea.
My father was a resident. Sadly when my mother was on her death bed, dad thought he wouldn't get to the hospital to say goodbye. The manager went above and beyond her duty at 6 am dressed him and put him in her car and drove as quickly as she could to get him there, My mum passed away shortly after she saw him. In my eyes, the manager is an Angel. Not only that but another male carer gave my dad an incredibly respectful passing, placing a rose on his chest. I am beyond grateful to all of them. Angels forever.
We have nothing but good things to say about Brendon Care. Our mum was placed into Froxfield for end of life care. On her arrival, she was treated like royalty. The staff and management couldn't have done more to make her feel safe and comfortable to the end of her life. During my mothers stay we were regularly updated on the next steps of action. Mum sadly passed on Sept 6th after battling illness for 27 weeks. Again the dignity shown with mums passing was above and beyond our expectations.
The staff at Brendoncare Froxfield have always treated my mother with dignity, respect and great care. Without exception, they seem to take a personal interest in Mum, family and situation and take great pride in what they do. Despite all the Covid restrictions they have tried many creative activities to keep my mother as active as possible. I believe it to be a well-managed establishment, with a predominately happy and skilled workforce. Keep up the good work.
We moved my nearly blind mother of 99 years to Brendoncare from sheltered housing in Bexhill which had been sold and the standard was going downhill. Well, what can I say, my mother was welcomed by wonderful, caring staff, nothing is too much trouble. She is a fusspot when it comes to food - not a problem and her needs have been catered for.
Excellent staff, nothing is too much trouble. Lots of outings. Lovely gardens. Fantastic food. Visitors always given a friendly welcome. Very homely atmosphere.
The care my grandmother receives is fantastic and she seems very happy and settled. The staff are great, very attentive to her needs and are always planning fun days out and activities for the residents. Food, cleanliness and overall standard are excellent. We're very pleased with the care at the home.
