View Full Details of The Westbury Care HomeWe are truly grateful for the excellent care our father-in-law receives at The Westbury. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and treat him with dignity and respect. The environment is always clean and welcoming, making it feel like home. It gives us great peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. Highly recommended!
From the moment my father arrived at The Westbury Care Home, the care has been exemplary. The staff are helpful, cheerful, respectful and communicative and liaise well with his doctor's surgery on his behalf. That was four months ago and my father has gone from strength to strength, has regained his appetite (he loves the food!) and tells us he feels safe and content and is treated with dignity. I have had to rearrange my visiting times in order that he can join in the activities, which is lovely!
Mum is happy here. She feels safe, well looked after and most of all respected. Thank you all.
My dad came to the care home from the hospital with weeks to live. He was bedbound and needed round-the-clock care with his Parkinsons and heart failure. The staff were friendly and caring with a few exceptions, while he didn't always enjoy the food they did their best for him. We did hope he would be put out in the chair more but that didn't really happen.
Help and kindness shown in sorting out hospital appointment transport for me and my daughter who accompanies me on day appointments at the hospital. Always a nice welcome back from care home staff on my return from hospital. Would love more contact with staff as I am mainly bedbound due to health condition, and not well enough to attend or enjoy the organised daily social events at the care home. Care home very cosy and clean.
The Westbury Care Home provided excellent care for our mum over the last fifteen months. All the staff were kind and considerate of her needs and also to dad whilst visiting. We can't thank them enough for the sense of reassurance we felt as a family whilst she was in their care.
My dad was a resident at the care home for just over a year. During that time he was treated with care and dignity by all members of staff. His family were always greeted with a friendly and professional approach and were always asked if needed anything, even just to talk. When the time approached my dad received end-of-life care and his wishes were followed when he died. The staff could not have done anything more to help ease any suffering or distress for us and I always felt the care given was like that of an extended family.
All the staff do a first-class job. My daughter is progressing with them despite her deafness. We are pleased that some sign language training has become standard which will help them. This will hopefully help her and anyone with hearing loss she could follow on. Your staff look after her very well. From all the family thank you.
Mum received the best possible care for the last seven weeks of her life. She was happy and comfortable throughout and died peacefully without pain or distress. I am very impressed and grateful for the quality of her care and the kindness shown by all members of the staff.
Since arrival in February 2023, Mum's health and awareness have improved immensely. From barely eating anything, she is feeding herself and eating regular meals albeit in small portions.
I recently came to your open day and had a great time spending quality time with mum violet Kemsley and your staff nothing is too much trouble for you it was a hard decision to put mum in your hands and as I was very poorly with my terminal cancer the decision was made with my brother sister in law and my 3 children to make the decision thankyou for all your care you give my mum Debbie eldridge
Very friendly and professional staff. Quick to act on concerns we have as a family. Appears to be a very good staff-to-resident ratio. Very good daily entertainment. Good quality of food. Nice, well-cared-for grounds.
We cannot praise all your staff enough for the excellent care they gave our mum whilst she was with you. The care at the end was all we could have wished for, towards Mum and towards us all. The Westbury Care Home is the best choice we could ever have made for Mum. Thank you so very much.
This home is second to none and the care my wife has received is first-class. The staff are brilliant and kind and nothing is ever a problem. One of the best homes I could wish for my wife. I cannot thank them enough.
I cannot fault this home, absolutely amazing. All the staff are lovely and go above and beyond for my mother. My mother is receiving an excellent level of care and respect. First-class care home!
The staff are really friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble in caring for my mum.
My mum arrived at The Westbury Care Home in November 2020 she was welcomed and settled in well. She loved being in the well-kept garden. All the staff looked after her well and often said what a lovely lady she was. Unfortunately, my mum passed on Monday 20th February. Just wanted to say thank you for taking care of her.
Since arriving in 2018, my grandmother has received a high standard of care and support. Our family are so pleased that she is settled and happy. The staff are so positive and interested in her which is lovely to observe. My grandmother thoroughly enjoys the variety of activities and I'm sure these keep both her mind and body active. I think this is a strength of The Westbury. I really enjoyed watching the band with my grandmother at Christmas. I would highly recommend The Westbury Care Home to prospective residents.
Mum has been here for a year now, and we are happy that she has been well looked after. It's been a challenge for Mum moving from her home of almost 50 years, but she is comfortable and close to us, and we are able to visit easily. All staff have been friendly to us and have been accommodating.
I truly cannot fault the care my dear Dad received from the lovely, hard-working and friendly team at this care home for seven months until he sadly passed away there last night. He loved all the staff who were so caring and attentive towards him and he always appreciated everything that they did for him. They certainly helped make the last months of his life so happy and our family will always be grateful for this. Thank you so much.
