View Full Details of Kings Court Care CentreThere are many adjectives I could use to describe the care my husband received during the past 11 months. All staff from management to auxiliaries continued to attend to his every need in a fastidious, meticulous, conscientious, careful, vigilant and respectful manner. He was never treated as a burden. His passing was dealt with in a professional yet dignified manner and my own and my daughter's individual concerns in an incredibly caring way.
My Mother was very poorly when she arrived at Kings Court. However, after a couple of weeks, she was back to her old self and is settled and loving life again. Thanks to the wonderful staff. The staff are kind, caring, patient, and utterly professional - to the residents and their families.
My relative was in this home for around 6 weeks and for the most part he was adequately cared for. The staff were busy but pleasant. The lady on reception was lovely and really welcoming and friendly. The food was not great and was always cold but he had adequate meals nonetheless. There is a day room and a garden that residents and visitors can go to if you don't want to stay in the room and have a change of scenery which was helpful. The home was always stiflingly hot. It was always meant to be a temporary stay for my relative but when he had a fall and was taken to the hospital, the care home contacted the hospital almost as soon as he had left to tell the doctors treating him that he could not go back, with no explanation to him or the family. Subsequently, we were called to collect his things with no explanation from them. We have still not had any other contact from the home to offer an explanation.
From the minute you enter everyone is so friendly, always asking how you are. The care they give is excellent. You feel you can approach anyone and they keep you informed about your relative. I can only give praise, would recommend the home, Nothing more but excellent.
My sister has now been in Kings Court Care Home for a year now, she came in for respite but unfortunately has needed more care. All the staff have been very kind and supportive, every question we ask for has been dealt with efficiently.
Unfortunately I had to make the difficult decision to move my dad into a care home but it has made it easier thanks to the staff at Kings, they are all friendly and make my Dad feel relaxed. He is a bit of a joker and they all have fun with him and his banter. Love the fact they have entertainment for the residents (twice a day most days), and they don't mind families joining in. Visitors may feel the home is a bit clinical compared to some homes which look like a Hotel but it's the staff not the building, that's important. Any issues, I speak to reception they get onto it straight away. The Chef is so helpful/flexible, if Dad doesn't like/want the food given, it's never too much trouble to go and get him something else. They have a 'pub' with darts and pool table (although sometimes occupied with staff training which is annoying). Nice garden and lounge area (but need a TV in there for residents to sit together and watch TV). Overall I'm happy with Dad's new home. Both Dad and I have made new friends.
I cannot fault the care my father gets at King's Court. The staff are more like family or close friends than anything else. They genuinely all care about their residents and go above and beyond to make sure that they are happy, stimulated and well looked after. I couldn't wish for a better environment for my father and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
We couldn't wish for better care for my Dad. There's care staff, nurses and a doctor to cater for all their needs. Ensuring the residents' dignity is a high priority amongst everyone, which I find so lovely. Then there's an activities team! Not one that pops in now and again, one that's there every day, providing two activities a day. Pub visits, cinema visits, bingo, garden games, singers, and so much more. Three meals a day and lovely little snacks throughout too. Pop in any time, without notice, and you'll see it runs perfectly all the time. I'd be happy here if it was my time to be in care.
My mum was a patient at Kings Court Care Home for the last 13 months of her life. Kings Court are absolutely fantastic, they treated my mum with so much dignity and respect, made me so happy when at the end of each visit I knew she was being well cared for. From the general staff who served her meals to the amazing nursing team and management team she was treated so well. The entertainment team absolutely amazing, they used to do her hair and her nails, which she loved. Every time I visited, they made me feel so welcome. It was always a pleasure going there. They were so good to me and I was lucky enough to make new friends. If I could give a 10-star rating, I would. Well done Kings Court, keep up the amazing work.
My Nan has been in Kings Court for 7-8 years and she loves it. Some of the staff are really helpful, and always making my Nan smile. The activities my Nan takes part in she really enjoys. Activities for example bingo, colouring and games. There's always something going on for the residents. The activities ladies are great. What a lovely home.
From day one my experience exceeded beyond excellent. The staff (in all areas), the cleanliness and the care and attention. My mum's well-being is so looked after. She is safe, happy and contented and loves every member of staff, as I do. I have told all my family and friends about my mum's care here and everyone is so happy to hear this.
My dad has been here for about 3 months. I cannot fault anything. All the staff are very kind, caring and welcoming. My dad receives excellent care and support from very friendly staff. The facilities are great and my dad feels included in every aspect. I wouldn't want my dad anywhere else.
I cannot praise the staff of the care home highly enough. The carers in particular are extremely patient, calm and friendly. They take pride in their work and are very warm, considerate and positive. This is also true of the staff as a whole. It is a like one big family and everyone (reception, nurses, site managers admin staff, and the enthusiastic entertainment team) has time to spare to be helpful and friendly. It really is a team full of smiling, friendly faces.
My partner was taken into Kings Court in January 2023, where she remained until she passed away in July of this year. Except for Covid regulations, I visited normally 6 times a week. I can only express my thanks to all staff and carers for the way my partner was treated and looked after. I came at all different hours of the day and was always welcomed with a smile. I came to know the carers and nurses on her floor very well and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I could speak to the sister about anything, and they would keep me up to date daily if she had any medical problems even though they knew I was visiting nearly every day. Many thanks to the recreational staff for always trying to involve my partner, even though they knew she couldn't do anything for herself. She always won prizes when we played bingo. Again many thanks to all staff from management, reception staff, and all the carers and nurses.
My mother had 2 or 3 falls in her flat, so I was concerned that the net fall could be serious, so the ideal place to move Mum was to Kings Court Care Centre. The establishment itself is clean and spacious and the individual rooms are ample. The staff have been brilliant, assisting Mum in every way they can. The food is satisfying and my mum enjoyed doing all the activities.
Pleasant enough, but staff changes meant frequent rebriefing on personal matters.
My mum was in Kings Court for less than two weeks. In that short time, she was well looked after and the staff recognised me and constantly rang me to see what Mum liked. At the end of her days, she was not left alone and the staff all spoke to her whether she could hear them or not. I am really grateful for their care, nothing was too much trouble.
Dad was treated with care by the staff at Kings Court Care Centre. The activities lady is really good and sadly Dad departed as he had really got into the events. I am glad that Dad went to Kings Court Care Centre rather than anywhere else.
All the staff at Kings Court are so dedicated and hardworking - they go out of their way to assist Mum with anything; I'm very impressed! I look forward to visiting Mum and also chatting with the friendly staff. A huge thank you!
My father was in your care for 6 months with dementia and sadly passed away on 26th May 2022 at Kings Court. In all the time he was there, he was treated with respect, dignity and care and with professionalism. We cannot thank all of them enough for their care, not only to Father, but Mother as well.
